Electromagnetic current transformers, invented more than 100 years ago, are today the most widespread type of preliminary current converters, used in organizing metrological channels for commercial and technical electricity metering, measuring and relay protection systems. Despite their relatively simple design and modest price, today the question of using unconventional preliminary current converters (Rogowski coils, optical transformers, galvanic-magnetic sensors) is being increasingly raised [1]. This situation is due to the shortcomings of electromagnetic current transformers (CT): large weight and dimensions), explosion and fire hazard, and also saturation of their magnetic conductor in transient modes with the presence of an aperiodic component in short circuiting (SC) current. The phenomenon of saturation leads to significant distortion of the transmitted secondary signal, which in turn may become the cause of overprotection with external SC or delayed protection with internal SC. Russian and international practice in coordinating CT characteristics and relay protection requirements presuppose ensuring correct operation of relay protection systems not only in steady, but also in transient modes with possible saturation of CT magnetic conductors [2]-[5]. At present, testing the correct operation of relay protection and automation devices (RPAD) in transient modes is carried out using the CT saturation time, which under the specific conditions of the location of the CT should be more than the exact current conversion time required for correct operation of the connected RPAD. This time is calculated by special approved methods [2]. Such use of two extreme CT magnetic conductor conditions (saturated/unsaturated), without regard to the current waveform itself may lead to significant inaccuracies in evaluating the correctness of RPAD operation. Artificial intelligence (AI) has brought about digital workstyles and upended modern workplaces like never before. The promise and actual application of AI in human resource (HR) management differ significantly. HR directors are becoming quite interested in implementing AI in HRM as a result of these technological developments. The use of AI in HRM and the resulting human-machine collaboration is a topic that both researchers and practitioners are eager to explore. The HR department and employees can benefit from AI application in HRM in a number of ways. But these advantages also carry some hazards related to network security and the law. Associations must create information-driven security to filter information itself rather than merely organisation in order to lower the risks associated with network security. This study has discussed the application of AI concepts in numerous possible HRM sectors. The result showed how these elements impact HRM's ability to be flexible. An iterative process of function is made possible by the closed-loop technological effect of HR, also referred to as the digitalization of HR and ONA. An excellent organisational design is necessary to facilitate the implementation and advancement of the components. This study established a new path by connecting two elements that are common in the current Industry 4.0 eras. © 2024 IEEE.

Cancer is a formidable worldwide health concern, characterised by a notable death rate. Breast cancer is one of the main causes of this statistic, taking many lives annually. Prognostic progress has become more and more dependent on gene expression analysis, thanks to recent developments in deep learning algorithms and high-throughput sequencing technologies. Accompanying conventional diagnostic-imaging indicators such as breast density and tissue texture, which are extensively employed by medical professionals and automated technologies, accurate determination of cancer risk is extremely valuable in directing tailored screening and prophylactic measures. Deep learning has become a potent tool for classification and prediction problems in this setting, especially in the field of breast imaging. Here, we present a brand-new deep learning method intended to estimate the risk of breast cancer. Using the CNN and MLP architecture, our approach expands on transfer learning Specifically, our model incorporates risk indicators to improve the evaluation of breast cancer risk, exhibiting better results than current approaches. This paper also examines risk markers for breast cancer, explaining how to utilise them appropriately and outlining their advantages and disadvantages when used with different risk prediction models. It also explores the growing significance of deep learning in risk assessment, highlighting the ability of our suggested model to automate several medical imaging modalities. © 2024 IEEE.

The use of slow-speed low-altitude unmanned aerial vehicles (UAvs) is becoming increasingly widespread, and the characteristics of low-altitude, slow-speed, and small targets make them difficult to be captured by traditional radar detection means. The method of photoelectric following has become a hot issue in current anti-UAvs field. In this paper, we focus on UAv tracking and aiming, and design a UAv tracking and aiming system based on a motion platform, which uses position closed-loop PID control algorithm to control the servo turntable DC motor and captures target images with a high-resolution camera. Then, the YOLO-v4 and OpenCv algorithms are used for image recognition. Besides, this system is based on STM32 tracking system integrated control software for overall system control. Finally, the generality, rationality and stability of the experimental system are verified through real tests. It is shown that YOLO-v4 recognition algorithm has strong background adaptability but slow recognition rate, while OpenCv algorithm has fast recognition rate but is only applicable to pure sky background. We can choose suitable algorithms for different sky background conditions. © 2023 IEEE.

Given the need for managers to consider energy management of low-power devices in practical production, particularly in the field of agricultural irrigation, in order to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of water use in agricultural irrigation, there is a need to design a micro-hydropower energy saving solenoid valve system to achieve intelligent irrigation in agricultural work by controlling the opening and closing of the solenoid valve. In this paper, a micro-hydropower energy saving solenoid valve system is designed, including a generator module, solenoid valve module, microcontroller control module, power management and storage module and relay module, where the solenoid valve uses the self-locking feature, which requires 0.225W to open the valve and 0.315W to close the valve. The TP5100 chip is used to manage the charging of the 8.4v lithium battery, according to the charging The TP5100 chip is used to manage the charging of the 8.4v lithium battery, adjusting the current according to the different stages of charging. The solenoid valve system sends control signals through the host computer to establish a comprehensive agricultural IOT intelligent management system integrating self-generation, remote control and early warning analysis, which greatly facilitates the user and provides a practical solution for intelligent planting and irrigation. © 2023 SPIE.

III- v alloy semiconductor operatorname GaAs 1-x Bi x is a promising material for photovoltaic applications due to its tunable bandgap with varying mole fraction. We investigated the potential of operatorname GaAs 1-x B i_x alloy when implemented in nanowire homo junction solar cell having radial as well as axial doping profiles, heterojunctions with organic materials as well as carrier selective contacts in our previous works. A brief comparative analysis considering optical performance of GaAsl xBi x solar cell (SC) in nanowire (NW), nanopyramid (NP) and inverted nanopyramid (INP) structures have been presented here. We considered 1 % Bi mole fraction similar to our previous published reports. The optical performance analysis begins with geometry optimization of all the structures with respect to generated short circuit current density (J smathrm c) considering the ideal condition of unity internal quantum efficiency (IQE). The variation in generated ideal J smathrm c is justified with respect to photo absorption spectra as well as photo generation rate profile. The study reveals best result for nanowire geometry as compared to other nanostructures. We finally present the solar cell figures of merit with optimized geometrical conditions. The band diagram for nanowire solar cell is also presented to obtain the open circuit voltage. NWSC structure offers a maximum PCE of 19% for a SRH minority carrier lifetime (Tn) of 10 ns. © 2024 IEEE.

We applied an extended version of the Niching-CMA-ES heuristic to search for local minima of the Cooke triplet, a renowned photographic lens design, of which 21 local minima were already known. The considered problem is defined by 6 input (decision) variables, namely the curvatures of the three lenses present in the Cooke triplet, and is driven by a single objective function, that is the RMS spot size. The applied approach found: (i) 19 out of the 21 known minima in a single run;(ii) 540 new local minima with objective values lower/equal to those of the known 21 minima;(iii) a large number of infeasible designs.

As a new open-source reduced instruction set, RISC-v has received a large amount of attention. Because of its highly concise instruction set encoding and modular extended instruction sets, RISC-v instruction set has been widely used in the embedded system [1]. As an indispensable part of the current embedded processor, cache directly affects the speed of the processor. In cache design, the cache replacement algorithm plays a key role, which is a necessary component affecting the hit rate of cache in. Aiming at the L1-Cache of RISC-v embedded processor, this paper proposes a cache replacement algorithm that dynamically adjusts the storage as per the memory access characteristics of the executing program. The simulation results show that the proposed replacement algorithm effectively improves the cache hit rate, and thus improves the overall performance of the processor. © 2023 SPIE.

In this paper, we present a low-noise electron gun design for a new type device, traveling wave tube (TWT) transmitter/receiver. The low-noise electron gun is a key part of the TWT Transmitter/Receiver, which can provide a low-noise electron beam for amplifying the received RF signal. The simulation design of the low-noise electron gun, noise performance analysis, and experimental testing have been carried out in this paper. In the experimental test, when the TWT transceiver is operating in receiving mode and the beam current is 4.5 mA with 4992 v, the noise factor of the TWT transceiver is about 18 dB. © 2023 IEEE.

This paper describes a pilot project, initiated by Hydro Quebec, implementing for the first time a 765kv optical current transformer (OCT) in one of HQ's substations. In this paper, we will discuss the project, starting from the concept to a series of pre-tests conducted at HQ's research laboratory IREQ. Based on this, the paper will elaborate the ecosystem of the project, including customer specifications and system design along with their respective implications on the product's design. Furthermore, the production and factory testing of the OCT and the merging unit (MU), as well as the complete certification cycle including testing of the MU and the primary OCT are discussed. This paper emphasizes the test plan and the applicable standards. In addition, the field installation and commissioning of the equipment up to the concluding site acceptance tests (SAT) are shown. Furthermore, the issues faced during different phases of the project along with the lessons learned and future developments of the concept are described. © 2022 IEEE.
