In this paper, we propose a novel latent vector autoregressive (LaVAR) modeling algorithm with a canonical correlation analysis (CCA) objective to estimate a fully-interacting reduced dimensional dynamic model. This algorithm is an advancement of the dynamic inner canonical correlation analysis (DiCCA) algorithm, which builds univariate latent autoregressive models that are non-interacting. The dynamic latent variable scores of the proposed algorithm are enforced to be orthogonal or contemporaneously independent, similar to those of DiCCA. An application case study on an industrial dataset is given to illustrate the superiority of the proposed algorithm. The reduced-dimensional latent dynamic model has potential applications for prediction, control, and diagnosis of systems with rich sensors, such as industrial internet of things.

A two-fluid mathematical model (TFM) based on the continuum approach and the kinetic theory of granular gas (KTGG) was studied to describe the motion of falling rocks mass flow down a slope. The results of three-dimensional modeling of the flow of the falling mass consisting of rock granules (diameter 7.5 cm) down the slope (the slope angle varied from 20 degrees to 60 degrees) were obtained. The obtained calculations of the maximum height of the flow layer and the average flow velocity were compared with the calculated data using the discrete element method (DEM). The calculation results obtained using the TFM better describe the calculated data in the case when the average flow velocity in the dependence of the slope angle is studied. The additional research of the maximum height of the flow layer in the dependence of the slope configuration is necessary.

The process control performance of the washing process heavily influences the quality of products in the Salt Lake Chemical industrial process, which is mainly determined by two subtasks: process modeling and operation optimization. For these two tasks, this paper first demarcates the modeling and optimization objectives of the washing process by profoundly analyzing the process mechanism and operating rules. To fully consider the working condition type and sampling time, a novel global multi-condition-aware transformer (GMCA-Former) network is proposed for the process modeling task. After that, the relatively accurate GMCA-Former is used to simulate the process state. Next, a hybrid operational optimization strategy based on case matching and NSGA-ii is applied to find the optimal operational parameter settings efficiently and stably. Notably, an event-triggered process model update mechanism is also designed to ensure the accuracy of the process model. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed methods is verified in the actual industrial dataset.

The diffusion of the Industry 4.0 paradigm has led to a proliferation of data that is generated by production assets on the shop floor. This data opens up new opportunities for the analysis of quality issues, but it also makes identifying, selecting, and correctly interpreting data all the more critical. This involves a multitude of domain experts that design, operate and maintain production equipment. Major challenges they face in this context are (i) to map and integrate their domain knowledge on potential failure modes and effects, products, processes and production assets;and (ii) to coordinate their actions to systematically investigate and address the most important issues first. To address these challenges, this paper introduces the FMEA-linked-to-PPR Asset Issue analysis (FPI) Model, a multi-view coordination asset, to guide quality issue analyses. The model integrates cross-domain knowledge and facilitates tracking the investigation state of quality analyses in teams of domain experts. A preliminary evaluation on a real-world use case indicates the FPI model to facilitate effective cross-domain analytic processes and the efficient identification of potential causes for quality issues. To address the issues of frequent data conversion, serial processes, and lack of effective technical status control during multi-disciplinary cross-platform satellite collaboration, this paper investigates the integrated collaborative design model based on the 3D Experience platform. It explores how to achieve concurrent collaborative design and joint simulation analysis of multi-disciplinary CAD models from different platforms in a unified environment. An integrated collaborative environment is constructed, allowing seamless integration of CAD data from various sources within the same platform, enabling real-time collaborative workflows and precise iteration control. The research methodology covers the entire process from heterogeneous CAD model integration, data management, real-time collaboration, to joint simulation analysis. This approach optimizes the design process and ensures data validity, real-time collaboration, and accuracy of modifications. Additionally, this study demonstrates the potential of the 3DEXPERIENCE platform in improving design efficiency, reducing design conflicts, and enhancing design quality.

In this paper, the common problems of electrical engineering under automation environment are systematically analyzed, and some new solutions are put forward. First of all, this paper reviews the research status of this field both at home and abroad. Secondly, this paper introduces the application of Matra displacement model in the field of power system in detail, and summarizes the views of domestic and foreign experts on the development process and characteristics of this technology research. Then, starting from the theoretical basis and basic concepts, this paper expounds the important role of software in the modeling of computer simulation system and analyzes the impact on the system. Finally, the transformation of electrical automation is realized by MATLAB, and the corresponding results are given. The test results show that the static deviation data range is $0.084-0.096$, while the dynamic deviation data range is 0.089-0.097; communication compatibility is as high as $\mathbf{1 0 0 \%}$ and as low as 96%.

Monitoring techniques play an important role in ensuring consistent product quality and safe operation in the process industry. data-based models such Principal Component analysis (PCA) are utilized as they are computationally efficient, and can handle high dimensional data. Most conventional techniques assume that process data generally follow a Gaussian distribution, are decorrelated, and contain a moderate level of noise. When practical data violate these assumptions, wavelet-based models such as multiscale principal component analysis (MSPCA) can be utilized in order to address these violations. Statistical hypothesis testing methods, such as the generalized likelihood ratio (GLR) technique, have been incorporated with different models in order to enhance fault detection performance. As literature has seen limited integration of multiscale multivariate models with hypothesis testing methods, an objective of this work is to develop and evaluate the performance of different multiscale multivariate fault algorithms, to determine and establish the proper method of integration of both techniques. Two illustrative examples will be utilized: one using simulated synthetic data, and the other using the benchmark Tennessee Eastman process. The results demonstrate that the improved MSPCA-based GLR technique that was developed in this work is able to provide better detection results, with lower missed detection rates, and ARL(1) values than the other techniques.

To solve the difficulty of rapid and accurate detection of component content in the rare earth extraction process, a component content modeling method combining mechanism model and error compensation model based on just-in-time learning (JITL) was proposed. Considering the different dynamic characteristics of each section, the extraction section is simplified using the segmented-aggregation method, and the mechanism model of the rare earth extraction process based on material balance is established;in view of the error caused by the simplification of the model and the characteristics of some rare earth solutions with color features, the color features of rare earth solution samples are extracted by machine vision technology, and the error compensation model of the mechanism model is established by the just-in-time learning algorithm. Through the experimental verification of the field sample data of the praseodymium/neodymium (Pr/Nd) extraction process, the results show that the modeling method proposed in this paper is suitable for rapid and accurate detection of elemental component content in the rare earth extraction process with ionic color features. © 2022 IEEE.

An innovatively designed open-center pressure control valve with fast response, excellent flow-through capability, and outstanding reliability is utilized in gearshift hydraulic systems for heavy-duty vehicle automatic transmissions. This paper aims to demonstrate the influences of fluid temperature (20∼120°C) on the dynamic characteristics of critical components and the physical mechanism of their interaction with the pressure regulation process by using computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulation and experimental research methods. Firstly, the flow area equation, the dependence of the flow coefficient on the fluid temperature, and the variation law of the jet angle along with the opening are derived by CFD simulation for a hollow spool with typical structural characteristics. Furthermore, a mathematical model is proposed to predict the gearshift performance with full consideration of temperature-induced variations in the flow force and viscous friction of the pressure control valve core control elements. Finally, the experiment is conducted to acquire the influence pattern of fluid physical parameters and valve throttling characteristics on the displacement, velocity, and clutch pressure. The results indicate that the simulation results of the clutch pressure are consistent with the data obtained from the real test bench with a maximum error of less than 5.6%;the spool inlet has the typical characteristics of a two-stage throttling, the inlet flow coefficient and the spool displacement approximately satisfies the exponential law variation, there is an approximately linear relationship between jet angle and displacement for larger spool openings;The pressure regulation time at an oil temperature of 120°C is 35% shorter than that at 20°C, but the starting and stopping pressure of the buffer boosting stage does not change significantly due to the change of oil temperature. © 2023 IEEE.

One of the key challenges of knowledge base question answering (KBQA) is the multi-hop reasoning. Since in different hops, one attends to different parts of question, it is important to dynamically represent the question semantics for each hop. Existing methods, however, (i) infer the dynamic question representation only through coarse-grained attention mechanisms, which may bring information loss, (ii) and have not effectively modeled the sequential logic, which is crucial for the multi-hop reasoning process in KBQA. To address these issues, we propose a sequential reasoning self-attention mechanism to capture the crucial reasoning information of each single hop in a more fine-grained way. Based on Gated Recurrent Unit (GRU) which is good at modeling sequential process, we propose a simple but effective GRU-inspired Flow control (GFC) framework to model sequential logic in the whole multi-hop process. Extensive experiments on three popular benchmark datasets have demonstrated the superior effectiveness of our model. In particular, GFC achieves new state-of-the-art Hits@1 of 76.8% on WebQSP and is also effective when KB is incomplete.
