With the rapid evolution of digital technologies, the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in power systems has become increasingly critical to addressing the growing complexity and dynamic demands of modern energy markets. Traditional power marketing models are no longer sufficient to meet the need for real-time interaction, intelligent service delivery, and seamless collaboration among stakeholders. This study aims to develop an AI-powered, interactive power supply system to transform marketing processes and enhance service capabilities. Leveraging a co-innovation strategy-"AI + power marketing"-the proposed system integrates multimodal interaction, real-time voice communication, and intelligent solution generation, enabling dynamic engagement between users and service providers. The research employs advanced AI algorithms to optimize interaction design, improve solution accuracy, and streamline digital marketing workflows. Results from simulations and real-world applications demonstrate significant improvements in user-centric service quality, operational efficiency, and the digitalization of power marketing. These findings highlight the effectiveness of AI-based approaches in fostering intelligent transformation within the energy sector, offering a scalable framework for future advancements in power system marketing and services. © 2025 SPIE.

Password authentication is a widely used identity authentication method for computer supported cooperative systems. However, the frequent occurrence of password leakage incidents has become a universal problem, and the leaked passwords seriously threaten the security of users' unleaked passwords. In order to gain a deeper understanding of the relationship between users' old passwords and new passwords and help users choose a securer new password when their old passwords are leaked, we propose a new targeted online guessing algorithm, Targuess-ii+, based on old password in this article. As a new probabilistic algorithm, Targuess-ii+ not only supports the application of strong transformation rules at any positions in a password, but also shows the transformation process from one password to another. Our analysis and experimental results have demonstrated that Targuess-ii+ obtains better performance in terms of crack rate and efficiency compared with other existing algorithms. © 2023 IEEE.

In the preparation of chemical raw materials, there are often some optimization problems that are difficult for people to solve. Due to the complex interaction between various factors and the great difference between the theoretical model and the practice, an effective optimal design model is imminent. In this paper, an innovative mixed statistical model is proposed for optimal design, including five sub-models of ANOVA model, polynomial optimal regression analysis model, design uniformity model, two-step regression model, and optimization model. In this paper, the mixed statistical model is also applied to the study of the combination of catalyst and temperature in the preparation of C4 olefin production, which has high practicability. © 2023 SPIE.

optical Wireless Communication (OWC) networks have emerged as a solution to compliment traditional Radio Frequency (RF) networks due to limitations inherent in the latter. While Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs) were initially popular in OWC systems, their bandwidth limitations have prompted a shift towards Vertical-Cavity Surface-Emitting Lasers (VCSELs) for enhanced, reliable indoor communication. In this study, we investigate the deployment of VCSELs as Access Points (APs) within indoor environments, addressing the critical need for comprehensive spatial coverage across the communication plane. The extensive deployment of VCSELs required to achieve such coverage, however, introduces significant challenges, including inter-cell interference due to the proximity of multiple APs in overlapping operational zones and increased energy consumption due to the high number of APs. We study the performance of various AP cell structures, investigating the integration of multiple adjacent APs into a unified multi-AP cell using Zero Forcing (ZF) techniques to effectively manage overlap regions. Moreover, a power allocation optimisation problem is formulated to enhance the Data Rate (DR) and Energy Efficiency (EE) within the coverage area of the cell. Through comparing different ZF-based multi-AP configurations with and without the application of micro lenses to VCSEL arrays our findings reveal that a rise in the number of APs within cells boosts DR and EE at the cost of increased computational complexity. This complexity underscores a critical trade-off that demands careful consideration in the architectural design of future OWC systems.

The inadequate layout of intercity fast charging facilities leads to difficulties in intercity travel for electric vehicle(EV) users. We incorporate EV users' path selection behavioral preference factors into planning intercity fast charging facilities and propose a bi-level programming model. Firstly, the lower layer constructs a stochastic user equilibrium model for dynamic traffic in Logit form based on general regret theory, and the upper layer constructs a multi-objective planning model that considers minimizing the total annual cost of EV charging station operators and minimizing the average queuing time of EV users;secondly, the NSGA-ii nested MSA algorithm is used for solving the bi-level programming model;finally, the feasibility of the model and algorithm is verified by the Nguyen-Dupuis transportation network example. The results show that our proposed model can meet the charging needs of different users, and can effectively reduce the queuing waiting time of EV users and alleviate their travel anxiety. © 2024 SPIE.

Multi-objective optimal design of permanent magnet eddy current retarder based on NSGA-ii algorithm

As a new type of vehicle auxiliary braking device, permanent magnet eddy current retarder has a wide application prospect. In this paper, the linear layer analysis method and non-dominated sorting genetic algorithm-ii (NSGA-ii) are combined to optimize the parameters of permanent magnet eddy current retarder. Firstly, based on the linear layer model, the mathematical optimization model of permanent magnet eddy current retarder is established by taking the radial length of permanent magnet, the thickness of permanent magnet, the number of permanent magnets and the thickness of conductor disk as design variables, the braking torque and eddy current loss as optimization objectives. Secondly, the NSGA-ii algorithm is used to optimize the braking torque and eddy current loss of the permanent magnet eddy current retarder. Finally, the performance of the permanent magnet eddy current retarder after the optimization of the structural parameters is carried out by using ANSYS software to verify the accuracy and feasibility of the optimization results. The optimization algorithm used in this article solves the problem of poor adaptability to environmental changes and premature convergence in the late evolution of standard genetic algorithm. The results show that the NSGA-ii algorithm based on the layer analysis model has better computational results in the optimal design of structural parameters than the standard genetic algorithm. This study introduces a dispersion-compensating square photonic crystal fiber (DCS-PCF) aimed at evaluating key properties such as dispersion, dispersion slope, higher-order dispersion, effective mode area, nonlinearity, and the V parameter. The proposed design efficiently compensates for chromatic dispersion, with values ranging from −812.73ps/(nm·km) to −2427.36ps/(nm·km) over the wavelength range of 1340nm to 1640nm. Simulations reveal that the fiber exhibits considerable negative dispersion, with a group velocity dispersion (GVD) of −2217.10ps/(nm·km) and a second-order dispersion of 2740.27ps2/km at 1550nm. These results indicate that the fiber is a promising option for high-bit-rate transmission systems, providing broadband dispersion compensation and promising potential in nonlinear optical applications. ©2024 IEEE.

The arrayed waveguide grating (AWG) is a promising device which can be integrated on chip to achieve multi-wavelength optical processing. Herein, two kinds of 32-channel AWGs with 100 GHz channel spacing and operating in C-band are designed, namely the arc-type AWG and rect-type AWG. Different device structures are introduced including the arrayed waveguide quantity, arrayed waveguide width, transition connector, and routing strategy. The performance is investigated by conducting numerical simulation. For both the AWGs, simulation results show that the crosstalk, insertion loss and channel uniformity are less than -32dB, 6 dB, and 2.5 dB. For the arc-type AWG, it shows a more compact footprint due to the use of 500-nm arrayed waveguides, and the 3 dB bandwidth of each channel is wider compared to the rect-type AWG. For the rect-type AWG, the arrayed waveguides are widened and straightened. It is expected to have higher process error tolerance. Euler bending is also applied to reduce bending loss. The simulation results show that the proposed devices are desirable to be put into use in dense wavelength division multiplexing scenarios such as optical communication and microwave photonics systems. © COPYRIGHT SPIE.
