Based on the review of research methods in the design field, it can be found that the KJ method is heavily used in the information induction stage of user research, but the KJ method has the disadvantage of subjectivity in the clustering process. Quantitative research characteristics of the AHP method through weight calculation can effectively overcome the subjectivity of the KJ method, so the KJ method is combined with the AHP method to form a bottom-up exogenous innovation integration method. In this paper, the method is applied to the research on the topic of community new energy vehicle charging service designs in line with the current era, and outputs a set of service design for community new energy vehicle charging based on user needs research.

Perceptual image is an important theory often used in product design. However, under normal circumstances, product design does not rely on a single theory and method, but is the result of a combination of multiple considerations. This paper aims to integrate brand identity theory into the perceptual image design method and construct a comprehensive designprocess, in order to take into account the needs of function, perceptual and product identification. Taking a Chinese brand's smart home gateway product as an example, the cultural elements were obtained through enterprise-oriented desktop research and interview methods. Then, by establishing a sample library of similar products and performing hierarchical statistics, the mainstream design elements of gateway products were obtained as an auxiliary reference. Finally, the gateway products were perceptually measured and then quantitatively analyzed through the Semantic Difference Scale to establish the mapping relationship between image vocabulary and product appearance elements. The cultural elements, mainstream elements and perceptual image elements were summarized from the three dimensions of shape, color and material, and were used in the design practice of smart home gateway products. After inspection, it is determined that the design results meet the design objectives. This study provides a practical, comprehensive and systematic designprocess for product design based on perceptual image and brand identity.

Edge Placement Error (EPE) is a construction metric which can be derived from CD (critical dimension), Overlay and LER (Line Edge Roughness) measurements from multiple layers ([1]), and is well accepted as a critical metric of patterning control due to the increases of process complexity as the design rule shrinkage of CMOS devices. Historically, these conventional metrics are measured from multiple tools on different patterns and locations;for example - overlay, on an optical tool from scribe-line target at ADI (After Develop Inspection) step, while CD/LER data are measured using a CD-SEM tool on a real device pattern at ADI/ACI (After Clean Inspection) steps. TMU (Total Measurement Uncertainty) increasement, which causes the consistency of EPE analysis, is the major limiting factor with the constructive EPE approach. Hence implementing EPE with the constructive way as in-line monitoring metric is not practical and straightforward way. This limitation on traditional EPE methodology can be overcome through single image-based approach ([2, 3]), where EPE is measured directly from the high landing energy see-through image ([4]). Another advantage is that in parallel it provides CD, Overlay and local variability measured at once on a real device feature. All-In-One (AIO) means all EPE related metrics (CD, Overlay, LER, EPE metric) are captured with single image, which is inherently delivering TMU of sub nm level. Continuous device scaling requires tighter TMU in patterning processintegration and control. Fabrication of complex structures demands extremely precise overlay and critical dimension measurement along the sequential processes which drives to a holistic approach on EPE metrology, which can be enabled by new 3D see-trough measurement where traditionally 2D metrics are given. This paper explores the integration of a digital game, Cipher, into language learning. It emphasises the balance between maintaining a playful game approach and ensuring robust pedagogical foundations. Motivating learners, especially for endangered languages (in this case Irish), can be challenging, but digital game-based learning offers an effective solution. The game has evolved via a pragmatic, pedagogically informed, learner-oriented game design approach. The game includes key elements such as levels, power-ups, scoring system and life mechanism all of which are important in maintaining the game ethos, in challenging the player and maintaining interest and to avoid the chocolate-covered broccoli scenario. The game framework, derived from an existing model, is modular and designed to be language independent. This enables the game to be adapted to the local culture, language and context. Crucially, the co-creation process, involving feedback and insights from teachers and learners, has driven the game's refinement through multiple iterations, resulting in enhanced content and features. This semi-agile approach enabled the evolution of the game through various stages to the current iteration, featuring more appropriate texts, improved game components and planned enhancements including AI-generated audio, images, and other innovative features. Cipher serves as a valuable asset for low-resourced languages, fostering inclusivity by catering to individual learning speeds and diverse learner needs. This paper outlines an approach centred on reuse/repurpose, pragmatism, and co-creation, which holds promise for application across various other contexts.
