Although virtual reality (VR) applications, especially training environments are booming, and research is advancing, there is still a lack of easy, universally applicable workflows for VR development. To facilitate this process, we present a VR motion data pipeline. Stepping through its phases involves recording motion, storing, and refining the data through runtime evaluation. A generic representation of the motion data allows, for instance, to create automatic integration tests by simulating a variety of different players through data interpolation, or to standardize the setup of psychomotor training tasks by guiding the user to follow the predefined motion path and thereby moving objects in VR. In this paper, we elaborate on the pipeline and demonstrate its application in two examples.

Fast charging of electric vehicles (EVs) plays a critical role in the adoption of EVs and thereby in the transition from fossil fuels to renewable energy sources in the transportation sector. However, there are significant limitations to the maximum electrical power that can be transferred during the charging process. One of the biggest challenges is the high electrical contact resistance (ECR) between the charging plug and the vehicle inlet, which leads to significant waste heat generation and associated energy loss. These factors not only affect the efficiency of the charging process, but also carry the risk of damage to the connector system and the EV. In response to these challenges, this paper proposes a novel approach for an adaptive connector based on thermal shape memory alloys (SMAs). The proposed adaptive connector is designed to increase contact forces only during the charging process, effectively mitigating ECR while ensuring compatibility with existing charging infrastructure. As a result, this technology promises to unlock higher transmission power capabilities and significantly reduce charging times. An integral aspect of this proposed solution is the inherent ability of SMA-based connectors to self-activate in response to the initial high ECR, generating joule heating that triggers the SMA actuator. This eliminates the need for additional power or active actuator control, allowing for a streamlined and energy efficient charging process. This paper outlines a systematic design framework for the implementation of adaptive connectors, including comprehensive integration of SMA actuators and meticulous optimization strategies tailored to ensure efficient and reliable fast charging of EVs. This paper analyzes decentralized collaboration between organizations, focusing on the challenges and inefficiencies in the absence of trusted third-party collaboration. The integration of Business process Model and Notation (BPMN) choreography with blockchain technology offers a trusted, distributed, multi-party collaboration pattern. However, the integration of BPMN with blockchain encounters various challenges. These include the absence of a unified model for efficient multiparty collaboration, the lack of a design for integrating existing information systems through on-chain/off-chain interaction architecture, and the limited focus on structurally complex permissioned blockchains that address privacy and efficiency concerns, despite the majority of research translating BPMN into Ethereum smart contracts. To address these challenges, we propose an integrated framework supporting trusted multiparty collaboration. In response to these challenges, we present a comprehensive framework that facilitates trusted multi-party collaboration. Based on this framework, we integrate BPMN choreography with Hyperledger Fabric to realize a third-party collaborative platform. Additionally, the integration of Hyperledger Firefly enables seamless connection with existing information systems' physical resources, ensuring secure off-chain message transmission while preserving on-chain evidence. The platform is fully open-source to facilitate further research and development. Finally, the experimental results demonstrate that the system is capable of supporting the execution of multi-party collaboration processes correctly, efficiently, and conveniently.
