This paper gives comparative analysis of parallel morphological filter with previously designed morphological filters. In this paper, implementation is done for gray image using various structuring elements. In past, multiple systems have been developed that have huge latency and fewer throughputs. This system reduced latency and improved through by using parallel approach. It provides a programmable and efficient implementation of basic morphological operators such as Dilation and Erosion using efficient parallel technique for different applications. It reduces processing time with respect to image dimension. Here performance analysis is based on different shape and size of structuring elements which support parallelism. MATLAB R2013a and Xilinx Design Suite 13.1 ISE are used for synthesizing this architecture that is verified by using Xilinx ISIM Simulator and prototyped on Spartan 3E FPGA Board. The proposed architecture is examined on different gray scale images.

In this paper, it is described the development of color sensor that is used to sort items by color in the industrial world. Technology of this control system assist in making the Internet of Things products, as well as the mechanical systems in the form of a robot arm which consists of four micro servos are designed to pick up and put stuff in the container. The result of the arithmetic processing of goods displayed through a Web page that has been designed. The achievement is using a micro controller NodeMCU in programming sensor to sort items and adjust into the container. It is also included a solution to the color sensor to recognize colors using search algorithms.

Clustering is one of the most important steps in the data processing pipeline. Of all the clustering techniques, perhaps the most widely used technique is K-Means. However, K-Means does not necessarily result in clusters which are spatially connected and hence the technique remains unusable for several remote sensing, geoscience and geographic information science (GISci) data. In this article, we propose an extension of K-Means algorithm which results in spatially connected clusters. We empirically verify that this indeed is true and use the proposed algorithm to obtain most significant group of waterbodies mapped from multispectral image acquired by IRS LISS-iii satellite.

To measure the trajectory of multi-fingers during a gripping process, a method detecting the trajectory of fingers during gripping and calculating the relationship among joint angles is proposed. Some labels are attached on fingers, then the total gripping process is captured using video cameras. The joint angles are obtained and the relationship between finger joint angles are established. Afterwards, fingers' motion trajectory is simulated according to the function. The results show that the proposed method can generate joint trajectories, which would be helpful to analyze and design humanoid robot hands. It will provide the design basis for the size design and mechanical design while designing humanoid manipulator.

Recognition of human sketches is one of the most interesting and difficult issues in image recognition. Recently, deep convolutional neural networks (DCNNs) have been successfully applied to various image recognition tasks. Though the DCNN is a very powerful method, the high computational effort required to tune its hyperparameters represents a critical problem. In this paper, we propose a novel method called evolutionary deep learning (evoDL) that uses a genetic algorithm in order to obtain effective deep learning networks. Lung Nodule is a white patch on the thorax medical image, usually used as an early marker of lung cancer. Although there were some research deals with lung nodule detection, but none of those researches tailoring Graphical processing Unit (GPU) to assist the computing process. This research aims to produce algorithms that can detect lung nodules automatically in CT images, by utilizing a combination of hybrid computing between Central processing Unit (CPU) and Graphical processing Unit. The framework used is Compute Unified Device Architecture, which consists of platform and programming model. The algorithm consists of several steps: read dicom and data normalization, lung segmentation, candidate nodule extraction, and classification. Normalization is required to facilitate calculation by changing the data type ui16 to ui8. Furthermore, segmentation is used to separate the lung parts with other organs, where at this stage the Otsu Algorithm and Moore Neighborhood Tracing (MNT) are used. The next step is Lung Nodule Extraction, which aims to find the nodule candidate. The last step is a classification that utilizes the Support Vector Machine (SVM) to distinguish which one is nodule or not. The algorithm successfully detects near round nodules that are free-standing or not attached to other parts of organs. After undergoing ground truth tests, it was found that under some conditions, the algorithm has not been able to distinguish nodules and other strokes that resemble nodules. While in terms of computing speed is found a very surprising result because overall single CPU computing provides better results compared to hybrid CPU and GPU computing.

The paper deals with a machine vision for a recognition and identification of manufactured parts. The inspection line has been constructed. Stepper motors, direct current motors and electromagnetic coils have been used as actuators. Printed circuit boards have been designed and made for a power supplying and signal level conversion. A feedback is acquired by two-position switches. For the practical realization, various construction components have been used, for example buffers for objects prepared for the inspection and inspected objects, manipulation arms and manipulation platform. The main control unit is a compact programmable logical controller, which controls hardware parts during the inspection cycle. The image capturing has been done with a common web camera. algorithms for the imageprocessing has been programmed in MATLAB Simulink. Data between the control system and the imageprocessing system are exchanged via a mutual communication protocol.
