The advances in 5G mobile networks are expected to enable immersive interconnected mobile multimedia systems. As humans are the final judges of the quality of immersive multimedia, it is essential to engage a suitable ground truth in the design of such systems. Databases annotated with results from subjective tests constitute such ground truth given as opinion scores, head movements, eye tracking data, psychophysiological data, and other data related to the viewers' behavior. On this basis, perception-based quality assessment of algorithms, systems, and services can be performed, and objective perceptual quality models can be developed. In this paper, a comprehensive survey of publicly available annotated 360-degree image and video databases is provided. The survey may guide the selection of ground truth on 360-degree images and videos to support quality assessment and modeling research. Further, the survey reveals the need for establishing new annotated databases that address the full range of subjective aspects of immersive multimedia.

The medical images are the main source for analysis of diseases. These images are having visual quality (VQ) issues like contrast, glare, noise etc, which restricts the proper analysis of disease. In order to overcome these image related issues, various techniques are presented in last decade. Digital image enhancement (IE) is the technique which improves the VQ of the image. The IF converts the desired image as image with particular VQ for an application. This paper introduces a novel approach of IF using Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) by implementing the different algorithms (brightness control, contrast adjustment, thresholding, negative transformation, filtering) for brain imaging. The proposed IF technique implements the Multi-Processor System on Chip (MPSoC) over FPGA. The MPSoC is distinct computer architecture while FPGA is hardware where the imageprocessingalgorithms can be implemented properly. The proposed IF methodology assures the low cost system with high accuracy. The proposed technique is incorporated with Advanced Microcontroller Bus Architecture (AMBA) which provides the interface for communication among master and slave module.

In this paper, a computer-aided lesion detection method based on gastroscope image is proposed to improve the efficiency and accuracy of conventional gastroscopy. Considering that the mainstream imageprocessingalgorithms are not suitable for the region extraction of gastroscope image, this paper adopts a simpler and faster color feature extraction method with the characteristics of large changes between pixels. At the same time, a variety of feature combinations are used to replace the single feature, and the two-level series classifier is used to perform the de-interference and lesion detection steps in series. Finally, the design and implementation of gastroscope pathology auxiliary recognition system is completed in the relevant test. The results show that the recognition method based on classification detection is significantly better than the traditional machine learning classification method in the classification and recognition of precancerous diseases, and it has a significant improvement in accuracy compared with the deep learning model

The Internet of Things embeds electronics in everyday devices to enable new products and services. Board games such as Chinese chess (xiàngqí) are a useful test case, as they pose a limited problem with well defined goals. In this paper, we report on two approaches to live logging of xiàngqí games. One approach uses a camera phone, imageprocessing and a convolutional neural network, while the other embeds magnets in the pieces and Hall effect sensors into the board. Both approaches permit the live transmission of a game using a web server. Game clocks were also constructed and integrated into the systems.

In order to solve the problem of switch migration conflict caused by system performance difference and frequent communication in SDN multiple controller load balancing process, a multiple domain controller cluster is established by considering the real-time load and communication consumption of the controller. In each domain, the switch in the overload controller is moved to the lighter controller by adopting a request response model combined with an improved SARSA reinforcement learning algorithm for balancing the load of the system. In this way, the load balance among multiple controllers is achieved, and the load capacity of the system is improved. The simulation experiment shows the feasibility of the proposed method.
