By studying the problems of large machining errors and poor precision in the actual processing of laser numerical control machine tools, in order to improve machining accuracy and production quality, a method of using the American Lion optimizer to optimize the principle of a limit learning machine to control laser numerical control machining errors is proposed. The laser numerical control machining module is developed using an open numerical control system. By simulating non-uniform rational B-spline curves, the input coordinates and output displacements of each servo axis are collected as training samples for neural network data organization and analysis. A PO-ELM algorithm model is proposed to train and test the dataset, analyze the machining error status, and achieve the goal of optimizing laser numerical control machining errors. The experimental results show that the PO-ELM algorithm model can effectively optimize the problem of processing errors in laser CNC machine tools, significantly reduce the root mean square error, reduce the processing error of laser CNC machine tools, achieve high-precision processing, and have good control performance. 2025 Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Abstract:Fog computing provides quality of service for cloud *** the data computation intensifies,edge computing becomes ***,mobile fog computing is used for reducing traffic and the time for data computation in the *** previous studies,software-defined networking(SDN)and network functions virtualization(NFV)were used separately in edge *** industrial and academic research is tackling to integrate SDN and NFV in different environments to address the challenges in performance,reliability,and ***/NFV is still in *** traditional internet of things(IoT)data analysis system is only based on a linear and time-variant system that needs an IoT data system with a high-precision *** paper proposes a combined architecture of SDN and NFV on an edge node server for IoT devices to reduce the computational complexity in cloud-based fog *** provides a generalization structure of the forwarding plane,which is separated from the control ***,NFV concentrates on virtualization by combining the forwarding model with virtual network functions(VNFs)as a single or chain of VNFs,which leads to interoperability and *** orchestrator layer in the proposed software-defined NFV is responsible for handling real-time tasks by using an edge node server through the SDN controller via four actions:task creation,modification,operation,and *** proposed architecture is simulated on the EstiNet simulator,and total time delay,reliability,and satisfaction are used as evaluation *** simulation results are compared with the results of existing architectures,such as software-defined unified virtual monitoring function and ASTP,to analyze the performance of the proposed *** analysis results indicate that our proposed architecture achieves better performance in terms of total time delay(1800 s for 200 IoT devices),reliability(90%),and satisfaction(90%).

Nowadays, internet of Vehicles (IoV) is an emerging new technology that allows smart automobiles to communicate while traveling at high speeds via cloud platform and wireless access technologies. It arose from the concept of creating a vehicular ad hoc network (VANET) integrated with internet of Things (IoT) to achieve specific applications, such as Intelligent Transport System (ITS) and smart cities. Therefore, IoV introduces a smart version of Vehicular Communication System (VCS) that vehicles and Road Side Units (RSUs) are essentially used for communication on highways and in urban cities. This study investigates the communication performance of the static Road Side Unit (RSU) which acts as an important component of IoV/VCS system in urban environment. A DSRC/WAVE stack mechanism is considered for beaconing and channel switching between CCH and SCH of control and service channels. Here, RSU also manages the Wave Short Messages (WSMs) and periodic beaconing, which are used to send WAVE service announcements. The simulation has been verified via implementing one RSU in urban city to evaluate the quality metrics of its communication mechanisms with vehicles nodes in terms of packet deliver rate (PDR), throughput, busy time and Signal-to-Noise Plus Interference Ratio (SNIR) lost packets. The results are obtained using OMNeT++ joined with Veins framework to make intercommunication with SUMO traffic road simulator. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

Nowadays, smart environment has increasingly become a target for emerging cyberattacks that will impact the user's privacy and potentially, security. A remote attacker can illegitimately access connected objects in our IoT environment to obtain information about personal data or access control and availability of IoT objects, which can contribute to a DDoS attack. SDN (Software Defined network) is a new paradigm that describes a network architecture whose control plane is completely decoupled from the data plane. The SDN concept offers the possibility of testing network functionalities before integrating them, without affecting the operation of the network. This minimizes the risk of network disruption. Our contribution in this paper is the design and implementation of a new type of architecture for securing exchanges in an IoT network using the SDN concept. The main objective of this work is to improve the quality and performance of this technology to ensure data reliability and avoid any type of internal or external attack by detecting the undesirable flow by Snort. This technology will also be used to organize and unify the management processes of all models based on SDN technology. © 2023 Elsevier B.V.. All rights reserved.

With continued advancements in the cellular domain, the number of network devices is expanding rapidly. Furthermore, as devices become smarter and more advanced with the deployment of dynamic spectrum awareness techniques that facilitate increased spectral efficiency, developing robust methodologies to analyze limited spectrum resources will be crucial to the success of FutureG wireless communications. Central to the idea of dynamic spectrum awareness is the need for robust techniques and metrics that provide insight into the spectral utilization and can be harnessed by dynamic control loops to maximize spectral usage and eliminate wasteful inefficiencies. While a plethora of dynamic spectrum awareness tactics have been proposed, existing strategies do not analyze the power spectral density probability distribution across time, which we demonstrate is a relevant indicator of spectral usage and signal quality. Specifically, we harness the commercial-grade, standalone, 5G network architecture located at the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) to perform an experimental measurement study and show the effectiveness of representing the localized spectral utilization as a distribution of power correlations w.r.t. the bandwidth's frequency bins. We analyze the distributional structure of power spectral density correlations for a variety of wireless channel environments (i.e., LOS, NLOS, and Edge scenarios) and locations, and our key finding is that the shape of the frequency-bin correlation distribution changes significantly depending upon the particular wireless channel situation. As such, our approach - which is not only blind (i.e., it doesn't require knowledge about the signal prior to sensing the spectrum), but also highly practical from an implementation standpoint - provides fresh insight into the spectral utilization, signal structure, and channel quality conditions.

As they work to improve the quality of life of residents by using information and communication technology, the ideas of smart buildings (SB) and smart facilities management (SFM) are very important. The existing network architecture, however, presents a number of difficulties for SFM, including problems like limited bandwidth, excessive latency, and the inability to support a significant number of loT (internet of Things) devices. With its high-quality network services, network slicing capabilities, and low latency that all contribute to real-time operational efficiency, the introduction of 5G technology presents potential futures. Additionally, 5G has the potential to promote a more sustainable future by significantly lowering energy use and reshaping present applications to better meet sustainability goals. The pros and disadvantages of incorporating 5G technology into various SFM use cases are examined in this article. This report also provides insight into the elaborate strategy by authority for the adoption of 5G technology. In accordance with Singapore's 5G execution plan, it also describes the strategic pathway for SFM case study initiatives led by the 5G Advanced Training BIM Lab. The lab works together with diverse industry partners to develop innovative 5G use cases outside the context of these 5G SFM initiatives. In addition, it has created a system of instruction to boost student engagement and provide professionals in mid-career the resources they need to advance their skill sets and adjust to the benefits of the 5G network. This paper offers insights into the next developments and growth of SFM systems via the use of 5G networks, serving as an excellent resource for academics and companies. In recent years, the building sector has experienced an increasing legislative pressure to reduce the energy consumption. This has created a global need for affordable building management systems (BMS) in areas such as lighting-, temperature-, air quality monitoring and control. BMS uses 2D and 3D building representations to visualize various aspects of building operations. Today the creation of these visual building representations relies on labor-intensive and costly computer-aided design (CAD) processes. Hence, to create affordable BMS there is an urgent need to develop methods for cost-effective automatic creation of visual building representations. This paper introduces an automatic, metadata-driven method for constructing building visualizations using metadata from existing smart building infrastructure. The method presented in this study utilizes a Velocity Verlet integration-based physics particle simulation that uses metadata to define the force dynamics within the simulation. This process generates an abstract point cloud representing the organization of BMS components into building zones. The developed system was tested in two buildings of respectively 2,560 m(2) and 18,000 m(2). The method successfully produced visual building representations based on the available metadata, demonstrating its feasibility and cost-effectiveness.
