This paper proposes an artificial intelligence-based adaptive quality of Service (QoS) optimization framework for internet of Things (IoT) devices in healthcare networks. IoT devices, such wearable monitoring and remote diagnostic tools, struggle to maintain optimal performance due to fluctuating network circumstances and hardware limitations. The suggested system uses machine learning and deep learning techniques to dynamically update QoS settings in order to achieve consistent, low-latency, and energy-efficient data transport. The AI model forecasts congestion, distributes resources optimally, and enhances network performance by continuously learning from real-time data and network conditions. This customisable solution improves healthcare delivery by providing timely, continuous services, resulting in better patient outcomes and ensuring the long-term viability of IoT healthcare networks. The framework's adaptive nature addresses scalability and flexibility challenges in healthcare IoT systems by constantly learning and optimising performance as network conditions change. The simulation results demonstrate how well the proposed solution works to improve QoS, ensure seamless healthcare delivery, and improve patient outcomes in dynamic network situations. This study paves the way for AI-powered healthcare IoT networks that are more reliable, responsive, and intelligent.

With the rapid development and popularization of the internet today, mechanical processing enterprises should not only adapt to new situations, but also reorganize various business processes. This article uses the Web to efficiently integrate internal and external resources of the enterprise, and monitors the network operation of the mechanical processing process. This article is based on object-oriented, distributed computing and other technologies to achieve fast and remote intelligent control of mechanical machining processes. Based on this, an object-oriented CNC machining quality control system is constructed. In the average error statistics of different batches of products, the highest error is 0.8mm, and the overall error is relatively small.

In order to solve the problems of intensive fruit planting scale, rising labor costs, and rural labor force loss, a fruit-picking robot based on intelligent internet of Things is designed in this paper. Fruit-picking robot uses raspberry pie 4B and STM32 board as the main part. The employed modules include USB high-performance camera, ultrasonic ranging, color sensor, wireless transmission, gear control, GPS, laser radar ranging and gyroscope. Using YOLO algorithm and D-H parameter method to achieve accurate identification of target fruit, accurate picking of ripe fruit and stable mobility of the machine. This can improve the adaptability to environmental changes for the fruit-picking robot. Users can remotely control the fruit-picking robot through the cloud, which can improve the production efficiency and quality of fruit agricultural products, and support modernization and sustainable development of agricultural production. © ICST Institute for Computer Sciences, Social Informatics and Telecommunications Engineering 2025.

Microservice is a new type of service architecture different from monomer service architecture, which can improve the service quality of nearby users. However, the movement of users will lead to frequent switching of edge servers that provide services to users, increasing service delay and service cost. It is difficult to meet both the low latency requirements of users and the low cost requirements of service providers. Therefore, this paper aims to solve how to formulate a microservice deployment and migration strategy considering service response time and service cost, construct a microservice deployment migration model, abstract the problem into a Markov decision process, and use deep reinforcement learning algorithm to solve it. Finally, simulation experiments are carried out to compare the effect of deep reinforcement learning algorithm with that of heuristic algorithm and random selection algorithm, and to verify the performance of reinforcement learning algorithm in solving this problem. © 2024 IEEE.

With the current development of industrial internet technology, the number of interconnected industrial control devices is increasing, the throughput of key data in industrial internet networks is increasing, and the requirements for deterministic data processing are increasing. Traditional industrial control systems generally use low-performance single-core processors, which operate the collected industrial data in a single-core and single-threaded manner, resulting in poor key data processing capabilities and a lack of data scheduling capabilities. With the development of industrial internet technology and deterministic network technology, the parallel data processing capabilities of multi-core SoCs can effectively meet the needs of industrial real-time networks. The data flow of the industrial internet network uses custom data identification and a parallel data processing mechanism. The data faces macro operations such as data packet matching, parsing, and forwarding to establish models, provide accurate execution mechanisms for devices in the time dimension, and effectively ensure high throughput and low-latency deterministic transmission of industrial control data.

Global production network developed to complex systems, which are strongly influenced by their fast pace surrounding. Besides a robust and flexible network structure, the network management gets more important, as it has a direct impact on the network performance. Especially the production management offers great potential to steer the production in the network in the most efficient way, regarding economic as well as ecological aspects. However, the allocation of responsibilities is still often subjective and historically grown. In order to objectify this process, the presented paper analysis how the degree of centralization influences the decision quality regarding decision in strategical-and operational production management. Thus, the paper provides evidences, how further potentials in the network management can be realized by a targeted degree of centralization. © 2022 IEEE.

Cloud services play an increasingly significant role in daily life. The widespread integration of the internet of Things, and online services has increased demand for stable and reliable cloud services. To maximize utilization of available computing power a need for a robust system for forecasting cloud load is evident. This work proposed an artificial intelligence (AI)-based approach applied to cloud load forecasting. By utilizing bidirectional long short-term memory (BiLSTM) neural networks and formulating this task as a time-series forecasting challenge accurate forecasts can be made. However, proper functioning of BiLSTM is very reliant on proper hyper-parameter selection. To select the optimal values suited to this task a modified version of the sine cosine algorithm (SCA) is introduced to optimize the performance of the proposed method. The introduced approach is subjected to a comparative analysis against several contemporary algorithms tested on a real-world data-set. The attained outcomes indicate that the introduced approach has decent potential for forecasting cloud load in a real-world environment. © 2024, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Protocols have an important role on the overall performance of Wireless Sensor networks, including throughput and power consumption, postponement and transmission rate. This research study has a portion of suggested computations that focus on network performance concerns in the proposed sensor network. The directing convention monitors the energy and draws out the steadiness time of organization as well as organization life time. As a result of this convention, sensor nodes will no longer establish pairs with one another and share information about what is being detected. Additionally, the Cluster Head selection technique has been improved and CHs are selected based on the remaining power of the sensor nodes. The reenactment has been done on MATLAB for assessing the exhibition of these conventions on various boundaries thinking about two situations. In all scenarios, the suggested convention outperforms alternative steering conventions, according to the findings of the simulations. © 2022 IEEE.

internet of Things (IoT) plays a major role in deploying futuristic smart systems. The entire globe is focused towards an epoch of intelligent communication, which is ubiquitous and secure in nature. The sixth generation (6G) network leverages superior performance in terms of its enhanced reliability, transmission rate in multi-gigabit, sub-1ms latency and especially ubiquitous communication. However, it is highly necessary to effectively manage the resource allocation process that arises as a result of the scarcity in spectrum resources in order to meet all the increasing requirements of modern digital communication. Since security is an essential feature of intelligent communication era, an emerging technology named blockchain gives significant value to establish secure communication in 6G network with its effective as well as disruptive control and management of resource allocation and sharing process. This research article highlights the importance of blockchain technology in 6G network by highlighting its major challenges, research directions and futuristic application opportunities.

In the emerging Physical internet, hyperconnected freight transportation allows using multiple short-haul drivers through hyperconnected meshed hub networks to deliver long-haul freight in multiparty multimodal relay mode. One of its core challenges lies in dynamic operational planning associated with the flows of freight, containers, carriers, and drivers to ensure agile, efficient, resilient, and sustainable performances given demand knowledge and state monitoring. In this paper, we focus on large-scale hyperconnected freight transportation, with testbed as the road-based tractor-hauler delivery of vehicles in the Southeastern USA. We propose an autonomous operating system for dynamic operational decision making from sources through hubs to destinations, including freight shipment consolidation, assignment of freight to haulers and haulers to tractors, multi-hop routing, coordination and scheduling of drivers, tractors and haulers, as well as driver-task matching based on individual prefrences. The system is based on a multi-agent network architecture, where each agent is responsible for different key operational decisions by running heuristic optimization algorithms and interacts with one another through information exchange. We provide preliminary results from simulation-based experiments encompassing vehicle delivery of a major automotive manufacturer from multiple sources, including factories, ports, and railheads, to 500+ dealers across the Southeastern United States. The analysis of results proves that each of agents can effectively and efficiently cope with the large-scale decision making and the overall proposed system is capable of operating hyperconnected freight transportation with reliable order-to-delivery performance, high hauler filling rates, and desirable environemnt friendliness, while improving quality of life by enabling truckers to be back home daily and alleviate truck driver shortage issues.
