Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV) is a tool used to carry or distribute independently which is useful for increasing delivery efficiency in an industry. The AGV robot uses a line follower navigation system where the use of this navigation has a very effective mechanism. In the previous study, the sensors used were 10 units of inductive proximity sensors. Some of them developed a navigation system by implementing the Human machine Interface (HMI), adding proximity sensors to 15 units, and applying matrix mapping for inter-room navigation systems. In this study, the AGV robot applies digital image processing using HSV filter to replace inductive proximity sensors with the aim of increasing the level of information and more flexible compared to the using inductive proximity sensors. As result, in 10-meter straight test, the average error of the robot's center point is 5.4 millimeters for the center point line which is reached in 39.7 seconds;and turning with a radius of 1.2 meters as far as 1.85 meters with an average error for the robot's center point of 3.6 millimeters, which is reached in 15.9 seconds. From the test results, it can be concluded that the AGV robot can run according to the results of digital image reading using the HSV filter, but there is a difference in torque of both drive motor, which causes the AGV robot run tend little bit to a certain direction. © 2023 IEEE.

The use of educational robots has increased rapidly over the past few years due to the growing interest in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) education. In this paper, we introduce an open-source and open-design educational robot for practicing Internet of Things (IoT) using hands-on experiences. The robot is equipped with various sensors and actuators, and is controlled by an Arduino microcontroller. We describe the design and implementation of the robot, including the hardware and software components. The hardware design consists of a wood cut by laser cutting machine, which houses the Arduino microcontroller, sensors, and actuators, as well as the wheels and motor drivers for movement. The software is based on an Arduino IDE and Blockly, where each sensor and actuator can be programmed on C programming language, and can be easily added or removed. The capabilities of the robot are demonstrated through several experiments, such as obstacle avoidance, line following, and temperature monitoring. The robot can serve as an effective tool for teaching students the fundamentals of IoT, robotics, and programming, as well as encouraging creativity and innovation in STEM education. The potential applications of the robot in various computer science courses are also discussed as further work. © 2023 IEEE.

To solve the above problems, industrial robots equipped with tapping modules, visual modules and laser pose modulators are proposed to realize intelligent tapping operations on the surface of the cabin body. Firstly, the machine vision algorithm is used to identify the characteristics of the reference hole and locate the hole center with high precision, and the rotary table is guided to realize the cabin body Angle alignment. Then, the laser attitude adjustment algorithm is used to realize the automatic measurement of the normal direction of the cabin surface, and the algorithm is used to realize the automatic adjustment of the robot's end attitude, so as to ensure that the machining tool taps along the axis direction of the hole to be processed. Then, the robot automatically taps each row of holes according to the off-line programming trajectory until the tapping of all holes is completed. The test results show that both the aperture and perpendicularity meet the technological requirements. Therefore, the system studied in this paper can meet the actual production requirements. The rapid advancements in machine learning, environmental sensing hardware, modern aviation, robotics, and embedded systems highlight the need for a forward-thinking approach to interdisciplinary education. Aircraft production is facing various technical challenges, such as large product dimensions, complex joining processes and the organization of assembly tasks. Meeting the requirements that come with large dimensions, low tolerances and small batch sizes, in combination with complex joining processes, automation and labor-intensive inspection task, is often difficult to achieve in an economically viable way. ZeMA believes that a semi-automated approach is the most effective for optimizing aircraft section assembly. An effective optimization of aircraft production can be achieved with a semi-automated riveting process for solid rivets using Human-robot-Collaboration in combination with an intuitive Human-machine-Interaction operating concept. While using dynamic task sharing between human and robot based on their skills, and considering ergonomics, the determined ideal solution involves placing a robot inside the section barrel. The robot's workspace is expanded by mounting it on top of a lifting unit so that it can properly position the anvil. In the meantime, the human performs the more complex tasks of inserting the solid rivets and operating the riveting hammer from the outside of the section barrel. By implementing a modular control system for configuration and operation of the assembly station with a variety of interaction possibilities, human and robot can perform the collaborative riveting process effectively. Additionally, due to high forces and vibrations, which are applied by the riveting hammer, a process specific tool has been developed to prevent damage to the robot system. By equipping the tool with sensors, such as a force torque and laser line sensor, it can not only monitor the riveting process in real time, but also perform inspection tasks using artificial intelligence algorithm. Working with robots has the risk of safety and security of human interaction that limits the robots fine motion within a factory floor. Thus, it requires the improving human system interaction interface in a robotic assembly line. Gesture recognition can be used as an assistive tool to reduce the interaction complexities associated during human intervention with robots and machines. The aim of this research is to recognize 3D gesture using wearable devices in order to improve human-robot/machine collaboration through better interaction interface. The derived systems consist of Data Classification, Recognition, and interaction. The novel system proposed improves human-machine interaction interface and reduces the system complexity through improving the interaction system leading to better working environment. The recognition of gestures helps to improve the interaction between humans and robots and helps in performing different robotic tasks. The method proposed in this research proves better performance compared to the currently existing gesture recognition methods. The data for gesture recognition is taken using different wearable devices, pressure and motion sensors. Reducing the interaction complexity will help to provide better working environment and gives assurance to worker about their security and safety with better working environment.

In order to improve the machining accuracy and machining efficiency of workpieces in the batch production based on automatic line, an on-line intelligent compensation system adapting to this production pattern is studied. The system takes the machining error prediction model based on support vector machine and compensation coefficient adaptive correction method as the core, and the compensation value is corrected in real time. Aiming at the automatic production of the brake disc, the intelligent compensation software for machining error is developed based on B/S architecture. On the basis of realizing the real-time acquisition of machine tool state information and error measurement data, the machining error prediction, compensation value calculation and feeding back to the machine tool are completed. The actual application results show that the qualified rate of the brake disc is improved, and the machining accuracy is guaranteed effectively.
