The serious threat of botnet attacks in the IOT world today can be effectively addressed with deep learning (DL). However, to train the model, large and complex data sets are required, which adds cost and necessitates expensive hardware to perform intricate mathematical operations. The IoT plays a significant challenge in memory constrained by implementing the DL. The hybrid Principal Component Analysis (PCA) and Autoencoder is proposed to measures the performance to lower the IoT network traffic data and consumes bulky information. Following that, reduced datasets are examined and trained using hybrid Long Short Term Memory (LSTM) and Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) algorithms. The hybrid deep learning algorithms attain the feature to enhance the precision, accuracy, recall, and F1 scores 96.51%, 100%, 96.51%, and 98.22%, which were higher than the conventional methods. The model's performance is analyzed using extensive experiments. © 2024 IEEE.

Time series prediction has significant applications in areas such as manufacturing process monitoring and energy consumption forecasting. However, traditional BP neural networks have limitations in handling complex time series data. This paper investigates a method of optimizing BP neural networks using genetic algorithms (GA). By leveraging GA to search for global optimal parameters, the prediction performance of BP neural networks is enhanced. In the study, time series datasets were utilized for experiments, and the results demonstrated that GA-optimized BP neural networks significantly improved prediction accuracy and stability. This research aims to address the shortcomings of traditional time series prediction methods and provide a new solution for achieving higher prediction accuracy. The findings have important theoretical significance and broad application value. These research findings provide strong support for fields such as intelligent manufacturing and industrial automation, offering a valuable reference for future research in related areas. © 2024 IEEE.

Various techniques have been developed for the identification of different types of requirements like interview, questionnaire, group elicitation techniques, attributed goal-oriented requirements analysis, fuzzy based goal-oriented requirements analysis method, non-functional requirements framework, etc. Based on the critical analysis of requirements elicitation methods, we found that single elicitation technique is not suitable to understand the need of the stakeholders. In real life applications, multiple elicitation techniques are required to elicit and select the requirements of an information system because each technique has its strength and limitations. Therefore, to address this issue, this paper presents a mathematical model for the selection of requirements elicitation techniques so that complete set of requirements along with its priority can be identified before the development of an information system. This research-to-practice full paper looks into how first-year students at a Portuguese higher education institution respond to a Basic Informatic Skills tool. This instrument is used to help the industry better understand the students' preparedness and the domain of critical skills for success in Information Technology (IT) specialized workers. As this instrument has a set of questions regarding mathematical knowledge, problem-solving ability, and logical reasoning, and we believe solid mathematical preparation is essential to succeeding in a computer engineering degree program and career, we applied it to determine how well-prepared students are in mathematics skills at the entrance of a computer engineering degree. The test measures six subscales to identify critical competencies in IT: verbal comprehension, numerical aptitude, attention and resistance to monotony, logical reasoning, coding analysis capacity, and diagrammatic reasoning. In general, the student's verbal, numerical, numbers series and code skills of the used instrument (Basic Informatic Skills) were reasonable. Only the attention scale was worse, and the diagram capacity was better. There were only slight gender differences in the average coding and diagrammatic reasoning abilities. Aside from a slight correlation with numerical skills, age did not significantly correlate with any skills. We also determined the correlation among the instrument's several scales and several mathematical subjects, but no correlations were found. This study promoted reflections on the background of students entering a higher computer engineering degree in relation to mathematically based skills considered fundamental for any engineering course. These aspects lead to considering the effort that must be made in the teaching provided to fill these gaps so that students can achieve academic success with a set of curricular units and ultimately prepare them for the marketplace. © 2024 IEEE.

This paper analyzes the investment risk of finance based on computer encryption algorithm. According to the characteristics of the financial system, this paper analyzes the Web service technology, mobile Agent technology and P2P technology. A P2P financial risk early warning system based on Web service and mobile Agent is proposed. The system runs through the whole process of financial activities. In the end, this paper uses proportional analysis, mathematical model and other methods to find financial risks and make warnings. The simulation discovery is a strong technical support for preventing and resolving financial risk guarantee system. © 2023 IEEE.

One of the fundamental results in quantum foundations is the Kochen-Specker (KS) theorem, which states that any theory whose predictions agree with quantum mechanics must be contextual, i.e., a quantum observation cannot be understood as revealing a pre-existing *** theorem hinges on the existence of a mathematical object called a KS vector *** many KS vector systems are known, the problem of finding the minimum KS vector system in three dimensions (3D) has remained stubbornly open for over 55 *** address the minimum KS problem, we present a new verifiable proof-producing method based on a combination of a Boolean satisfiability (SAT) solver and a computer algebra system (CAS) that uses an isomorph-free orderly generation technique that is very effective in pruning away large parts of the search *** method shows that a KS system in 3D must contain at least 24 *** show that our sequential and parallel Cube-and-Conquer (CnC) SAT+CAS methods are significantly faster than SAT-only, CAS-only, and a prior CAS-based method of Uijlen and ***, while our parallel pipeline is somewhat slower than the parallel CnC version of the recently introduced Satisfiability Modulo Theories (SMS) method, this is in part due to the overhead of proof ***, we provide the first computer-verifiable proof certificate of a lower bound to the KS problem with a size of 40.3 TiB in order 23. © 2024 International Joint conferences on Artificial Intelligence. Complex economic models often describe the agent's decisions, i.e. choice of some controlled variables in accordance with criteria set by agents. Unlike purely statistical ones, agent-based models allow to describe processes with different modes, in which the agent's behavior changes quali-tatively when the environment (including the actions of other agents) change. The practical use of mathematical models of complex systems with a number of interacting agents is limited by complexity of their construction and possible errors when dealing with multitude of expressions. computer tools, such as the 'Ecomod' system discussed in the article, can substantially reduce the time spent on model creation and processing, and help to coordinate the work of several researchers on the model. © 2023 IEEE.

A method for the numerical solution of an axisymmetric problem in a model that describes the change in temperature and coordinates of the free boundary in a cylindrical contact is considered. The mathematical model consists of an inhomogeneous heat equation with variable coefficients and an additional differential equation for the kinetics of phase changing, but there is no differential equation for a free boundary in it. This is the main difference from Stefan's free-boundary approach, where solving 2-3-dimensional problems is very difficult. The method was used earlier to solve a one-dimensional problem and a satisfactory agreement with the solution of the corresponding Stefan problem was obtained. © 2023 IEEE.

The induction motor in the Tesla Model S electric car is very mysterious, so this article attempts to introduce a basic model that considers the problem across multiple disciplines: kinematics, Newtonian mechanics, induction motors, numerical methods, and induction motors for electric drive control. This paper proposes three different steady-state torque-speed curves for the induction motor and analyzes its field weakening operation mode. We propose a mathematical description of the torque and speed curves of an induction motor, which can be applied to vehicle motion modeling. An electromechanical equation also integrates the moment of inertia of the induction motor rotor and the mass of the electric vehicle. The mathematical model analyzes the motion of the Model S electric vehicle as well as the connection between the mechanical gearbox and the induction motor. © 2023 IEEE.

This article is based on fractal geometry and complex network theory, dedicated to exploring the optimization application of fractal design algorithms in visual spatial design.
