Cloud computing enables organizations to realize the commercial benefits while facing the new security issues. In this paper, we presents a security model for called the Trusted Private Virtual Data center (TVPDc) that offering centralized security management of the computing and storage resources distributed in different locations and physical machines within an IaaS cloud. Future trends for University distance learning systems involve integration of the mobile devices with the support of cloud computing services. The multimedia content that is delivered to the student's mobile devices provides an efficient learning environment. The main benefit, elaborated in this paper, is to use the processing power of the mobile cloud computing (MCC) environment for adapting the multimedia content to the context - aware network conditions of the mobile user. A key technology of cloud computing is virtualization, which can lead to reduce the total cost and increase the application flexibility. However along with these benefits come added security challenges. The extension of Trusted computing to virtual environments can provide secure storage and ensure system integrity. In this paper, we describe and analyze several existing virtualization of TPM (vTPM) designs: software-based vTPM, hardware-based vTPM, para-virtualized TPM and property-based vTPM and analyze each of their limitations. We believe this to be an useful exercise to help better understand and apply the technology of virtualization of TPM in real cloud computing systems.

In recent years, the rapid advancement of the Internet and the growing number of people using social networking services (SNSs) have facilitated the sharing of multimedia data. However, multimedia data processing techniques such as transcoding and transmoding impose a considerable burden on the computing infrastructure as the amount of data increases. Therefore, we propose a MapReduce-based image-conversion module in cloud computing environment in order to reduce the burden of computing power. The proposed module consists of two parts: a storage system, i.e., Hadoop distributed file system (HDFS) for image data and a MapReduce program with a Java Advanced Imaging (JAI) library for image transcoding. It can process image data in distributed and parallel cloud computing environments, thereby minimizing the computing infrastructure overhead. In this paper, we describe the implementation of the proposed module using Hadoop and JAI. In addition, we evaluate the proposed module in terms of processing time under varying experimental conditions.
