Devising a uniform paradigm for the representation of multimedia data contents in distributed systems in the presence of heterogeneity, distribution, and semantic gap is a difficult task. When adding technological limitations to this mix, the problem becomes more complex. In this paper, we present a logic-based model for representing the semantics of complex multimedia data objects. The model employs first-order logic to describe the semantic contents of multimedia data, such as visual objects and color/texture features. The aim of this model is to provide general multimedia content representation that can be used in object-oriented information systems. The novelty of this framework comes from (1) its mathematical capability to represent semantic contents, (2) the hierarchical organization and classification of multimedia data objects according to their semantic contents, and (3) the ease of nearest-neighbor searching through synonym links. Finally, the simulation results are presented and analyzed based on various performance metrics.

recently, cloud computing is applied with technologies that can be supported in various service environments for media service. Among them, UPnP is actively utilized for cloud media service by being combined with smart technology. However, in the previous service environment, the media service based on smart devices is provided by passively selecting the devices on home network. Besides, since it takes much time to find and connect devices, further services being often delayed and reselected, they don't guarantee service continuity. To solve such problems, therefore, this paper suggests a device matching model based on UPnP. To play media services provided from the cloud media server, the suggested model finds and controls surrounding UPnP devices in the home network environment by using UPnP-based protocols. Moreover, this paper arranges and operates two agents (device select agent and management agent), designed to solve such UPnP problems above, and one log DB on smart devices such as smart phone and iPad. Then, device select agent and management agent in the smart device search UPnP devices installed around users by using UPnP-based protocols (SSDP, GENA, SOAP), automatically matching and controlling devices suitable for the users' media service. This way, the suggested device matching model for Social Media Cloud Service can be provided with successive media service depending on the users' mobility and even be provided with successive media service between heterogeneous network environments like Home Network or Mobile Network.

This paper shows a general view of the multimedia Messaging Service (MMS) in the packet switching network (PSN), such as the technology features, the service flows and the major signaling messages. The Calling Detail Record (CDR) synthesis theory of MMS in PSN is studied in detail. This paper also discusses multi-protocol and multi-interface association technology in signaling monitoring process of MMS. Finally, the research results are tested based on the synthesis theory.
