Trusted computing Group developed two solutions to realize remote attestation between platforms, but both of them have drawbacks. Privacy CA defined by Trusted computing Group needs to be highly available and may collude with verifier to trace user's transactions. Direct Anonymous Attestation proposed in Trusted Platform Module Specification v1.2 is not efficient because it adopts many exponential operations and the Issuer may collude with verifier, too. In this paper, we propose a remote anonymous attestation scheme with an improved Privacy CA. The Privacy CA issues an Anonymous Attribute Credential for a Trusted computing Platform and doesn't need to be involved in all attestations. It is also not able to leak the privacy of users. The proposed scheme is high efficient and fulfills the requirements of anonymous credential system very well.

Supporting collaborative multimedia content management activities, as e.g., image and video acquisition, exploration, and access dialogues between naive users and multi media information systems is a non-trivial task. Although a wide variety of experimental and prototypical multimedia storage technologies as well as corresponding indexing and retrieval engines are available, most of them lack appropriate support for collaborative end-user oriented user interface front ends. The development of advanced user adaptable interfaces is necessary for building collaborative multimedia information-space presentations based upon advanced tools for information browsing, searching, filtering, and brokering to be applied on potentially very large and highly dynamic multi media collections with a large number of users and user groups. Therefore, the development of advanced and at the same time adaptable and collaborative computer graphical information presentation schemes that allow to easily apply adequate visual metaphors for defined target user stereotypes has to become a key focus within ongoing research activities trying to support collaborative information work with multimedia collections.

IP multimedia Subsystem (IMS) is a new network architecture for providing multimedia service in the next generation wireless networks, 3GPP has chosen Session Initiated Protocol (SIP) to be the signaling protocol in IMS. At present, IMS can only support nomadic mobility but not seamless mobility. So a new solution is required to support seamless mobility in IMS. In this paper, we proposed a new cross-layer mobility management solution based on the integration of Mobile IP and SIP. In our proposed solution, we introduce a cross-layer module between home agent and S-CSCF, which can realize information exchange between network layer and application layer. Through the cross-layer module, the binding update message received by home agent can be translated and forwarded to S-CSCF to trigger the registration procedure in IMS. So the signaling between mobile node and home network can be reduced dramatically. Finally, we analyzed our proposed three mobility management solutions theoretically and made simulations based on our analysis. The simulation results demonstrated that the cross-layer mobility management solution brings smaller handoff delay and lower signaling overhead to the network than the other two solutions. So we can conclude that cross-layer mobility management solution can provide better mobility management for real-time service in IMS and achieve good scalability.

The paper then presents a scheme for the organization, placement, and retrieval of multimedia data from the server. The data organization and retrieval schemes are analyzed and it is shown that their performance is superior to other schemes found in the literature.

In order to ensure that the interference-limited multimedia code division multiple access mobile communication systems operate stably and reliably, a novel fast adaptive call admission control (FACAC) algorithm for wide-band code division multiple access air interface is introduced. The proposed algorithm operates a threshold comparison, which integrates many factors that affect the decision accuracy of a call admission control such as system load, quality of service, channel quality, interference level and so on. The proposed FACAC algorithm cooperates subtly with a power control and data rate adjustment scheme making able fast, accurate, adaptive threshold, simple and feasible decision-making about incoming calls. Simulation results verify the correctness of theoretic derivations and show that the proposed FACAC algorithm outperforms previous call admission control schemes in terms of overall system dropping probability and service blocking properties, respectively. It is believed that FACAC is a requisite algorithm for the next generation mobile communications systems.

On-body UWB signal propagation is analyzed for propagation channels surrounding the body in an usual office environment for an application requiring the transmission of signals recorded from the head to a device such as a mobile phone or a PDA carried by the subject or also from the transmitter on the head to other devices located along the body. For the study, measurements of the frequency response by means of a VNA (Vector Network Analyzer) are performed at 2001 discrete frequency points in the 3 to 6 GHz range. Channel estimation parameters, such as mean excess delay, delay spread and path loss are obtained. Results show that for the transmitter located on top of the head best average performance is achieved facilitating the receiver design. Energy can also be captured from multi-path reflections in the office environment providing better performance when using adaptive receivers.

Cloud environment is an efficient solution for both computing intensive and data intensive applications and it is a technology paradigm that is ideal for deploying a user centered mobile learning environment. Efficient use of cloud based services is a key component of successful task scheduling and resource allocation in cloud computing environment. In this paper, we propose a collaborative cloud service model for supporting the student's mobile learning process. The proposed collaborative model creates groups of students with joint interests collecting the relevant information from the existing social networks. The spirit of the proposed collaborative model comes from different aspects and influencing factors with respect to Quality of Experience (QoE) process. Experimental results gathered from using the OPNET simulator have verified the benefits of the proposed multimedia content adaptation collaborative model.
