Web RTC can provide real time capabilities for multimedia applications like voice, video and data between peers by utilizing the open standards. With the onset of covid, video conferencing has become a need of the day. Optimization of bandwidth, and other features have become the necessity. In the current work, WebRTC protocols are built upon, to improve the connection and success rate, optimize the bitrate and reduce the frame rate. This improvement is carried out without visible or audible loss of clarity in the video sessions. The Session Description Protocol is utilized to accomplish this, and this would not have been possible using WebRTC APIs alone. N-to-N connection among peers is established in an optimized manner, so that the application does not engage an intermediate server to transfer media streams which has resulted in multi-fold improvement in bandwidth performance and also maximized the number of participants, without incurring the cost for an intermediate media server. Conventionally, an intermediate media server is used to stitch streams from various senders into a single stream and then sent to the receivers. Bandwidth utilization is reduced close to 100x with good visibility in the stream. Robust web application is achieved using the TURN (Traversal Using Relays around NAT) server. The proposed work has addressed multiple ways of optimizing for the video conferencing using WebRTC.

Telecom fraud detection is considered a needle in a haystack task due to the fact that fraudsters are usually hidden among a large number of normal users. In fact, a fraudster will usually act in a continuous manner over a period of time to achieve fraudulent purposes. At the same time, fraudsters are constantly looking for new fraudulent targets. Therefore, we consider a behavioral pattern-based fraudster identification system called HADyn-LSTM for telecommunication network fraud detection. Motivated by the breakthroughs in deep learning (DL), we make an effort to judge whether a user is a fraudster is based on the user's behavior sequence in the social network, which means that we study the difference between normal users and fraudsters through dynamic behavior patterns rather than static statistical attributes. Particularly, Based on sequential neural networks and attention mechanisms, we design an end-to-end system that learns and extracts the dynamic patterns of user behavior sequences. Furthermore, We tested our system on three datasets of different sizes. The test results show that the HADyn-LSTM system performs better than the static attribute-based method.

Essentials that play a vital role in the survival of a human life are water, food, shelter, health and wealth; but now, internet has been added that can make people forget their basic needs. People have started becoming techy and trendy, accessing all platforms over the internet to get some info or share info. The common problem among the present generation is believing and spreading fake news through social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram or Twitter, that may lead to the possibility of serious risk. Fake news is not just the info that makes people believe but also damages the reputation, respect, including life. It is tedious to identify the fake news over the internet as there would be no evidence to prove someone has been forging it. Therefore, various experiments have been conducted to identify the fake news spreading over the social media. In this paper, Machine learning techniques such as processing a dataset and analysing point to point have been studied. Moreover, methods such as Random Forest, Naive Bayes, CNN, ANN, SVM, and all possible approaches that would help to identify and deliver which data is real and which has been spreading fake over social media globally, have been summarized.

Multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) has acquired significant interest as the demand for high data rates has increased and, it is regarded as a key technique in 5G wireless technology. Previously, the water filling algorithm (WFA) has been found as an effective method for power allocation channels in (MIMO). However, this solution is computationally intractable owing to the increasing size of channels. To address this problem, this paper applies the constrained quantum optimization algorithm (CQOA) for reducing the overall transmit power and the computational complexity of the MIMO downlink system. An analytical comparison has been performed between the CQOA and water filling algorithm-based binary searching algorithm (WFA-BSA). Numerical results show the efficiency of the CQOA against the WFA-BSA in terms of power and computation.

Software-Defined networking (SDN) has attracted tremendous attention in recent years as the future communication network architecture. However, SDN deployment in legacy network will be progressively phased over a period, especially for larger network which consists of hundred or more nodes. Every migration (i.e. replacing or upgrading) of SDN-enabled nodes requires considerable optimization efforts in terms of cost of investment, network stability and performance gains. Hitherto literatures have proposed variety of static heuristic algorithms to compute the migration sequence of SDN-enabled nodes for multi-periods SDN deployment in legacy network. The aim of each computed migration sequence is aims to improve network performance gains with respect to address different constraints. However, the dynamicity of an unique network, such as traffic growth or topology change, cannot be comprehensively addressed using a static heuristic algorithm over the deployment duration. Machine learning (ML), on the other hand, has been proven successfully applied for various dynamic and non-linear problems in diverse domains. In this article, we summarize the generic workflow for ML in networking domain at first. Subsequently, we investigated the problem of SDN deployment in legacy network from the perspective of ML. We proposed a SDN deployment problem that formulated as Markov Decision Process and reinforcement learning techniques, such as Qlearning and SARSA, can be used to model for the problem. © 2021, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Recent years have witnessed an outstanding increase in popularity of Crowdsourced Livecast Services (CLS), which is the latest trend in social media. In CLS, transcoding enormous video contents from massive broadcasters and providing high quality CLS for global viewers with heterogeneous devices are computation-intensive as well as time-consuming. There are some schemes that design viewer-assisted transcoding scheme, but it is challenging to achieve an efficient and fair task assignment due to the dynamic of computing and communication resources. This paper introduces a viewer-assisted CLS framework and focuses on proposing an innovative fairness-guaranteed task assignment scheme, which is a key challenge in this context. Considering the dynamic nature of viewers' computing and communication resources and stability, a dynamic programming problem with fairness and QoS constraints is formulated. To solve the problem, we devise a Fair Bandit (FB) algorithm based on the Combinatorial Multi-Armed Bandit (CMAB). Finally, the effectiveness of proposed scheme is demonstrated by trace-driven simulations.

In the era of global digitalization, digital innovation hubs have become essential, as they function as transforming forces. In this paper, we provide an analysis of the Montenegrin Academic Digital Innovation Hub by applying multi-criteria qualitative evaluation over several criteria: process flow of fully digitized operations of the Hub (with aspects of the innovation life-cycle, ethics, and security), resource management, strategic goals, and feasibility. The paper also proposes a model of comprehensive resource management via the perspective of smart specialization priorities of Montenegro.

Augmented Reality (AR) represents a technology that enables the fusion of digital elements with the physical world. In this way, a new possibility of user interaction with technology is created, shaping advanced user experiences. In today's world, the application of AR technology is widespread and often used in social media, video games, military, medicine, industry, arts and many other fields. One of relatively recent fields od AR technology application is the field of e-commerce. This paper explores the application of Augmented Reality as a tool for creating innovative user experience in e-commerce. The paper focuses on researching how the application of AR technology affects consumer behavior and improves their user experience. It is focused on investigating how application of AR technology influences user behavior and improves their user experience. The applied research methodology includes empirical research to evaluate user perception of various aspects affecting the user experience during online purchase using AR technology. Research results indicate how integrating augmented reality (AR) into e-commerce systems can improve the user experience during the purchase of certain products, thus improving conventional web stores as well.

The rise of social media has significantly influenced various aspects of daily life, including education. Among these platforms, TikTok stands out for its engaging short videos that captivate millions globally. Initially perceived as purely for entertainment, TikTok has piqued interest as a potential educational tool. This study explores TikTok’s educational viability by assessing student experiences and perceptions. Utilizing a mixed-methods approach, the study surveyed 50 students from the National University Dasmariñas, combining quantitative data on TikTok usage patterns with qualitative insights into its educational effectiveness. The survey revealed that $\mathbf{7 0 \%}$ of respondents frequently used TikTok, with $\mathbf{6 0 \%}$ employing the platform for learning. Preferred subject areas included Science and Math, aligning with Mayer’s Cognitive Theory of multimedia Learning, which emphasizes the benefits of combining auditory and visual information. Qualitative data provided more profound insights into student motivations, highlighting TikTok’s accessibility and engaging format as critical factors. Students appreciated the platform’s ability to present complex topics in bite-sized, digestible chunks. However, concerns about the short format limiting in-depth exploration and the need for accuracy were noted. The study concludes that while TikTok holds promise as a supplementary educational tool, especially for initial knowledge acquisition and visual learning, it should be integrated thoughtfully with traditional methods to address its limitations. Future research should explore strategies for effectively leveraging TikTok in formal education, ensuring quality control, and enhancing student engagement and learning outcomes.
