Despite the fact the government agencies and healthcare organizations make numerous efforts to prevent and control dengue epidemic, still it is a challenge. Lack of citizen's awareness of the infectious disease is one of the reasons that hampers their effectiveness. The need to re-examine and understand how the public at large view the dengue monitoring and prevention efforts motivates this study. Knowing the popularity and reach of social networking sites (SNS), understanding their strengths and weaknesses as health education tool would be a timely call. This empirical study aims to integrate social support theory to an existing theoretical model to test the users' intention to use SNS for healthcare and wellness information focusing on dengue related information. The current study found that Malaysians preferred to use SNS for dengue related healthcare and wellness information. This result suggests that dengue related monitoring and prevention activities can consider to use SNS as a potential communication tool to increase its reach to citizens.

Over a previous decade people have experienced an exponential boom in the usage of online resources in specific social media and microblogging internet site such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube. Many businesses and agencies has identified these sources as a wealthy mine of marketing information. On such platforms, massive quantities of records are produced (e.g.: 5000 tweets per 2d on twitter), this representing an chance for companies to check their social impact and people opinions towards their products, and even frequent people can additionally discover out what is a performance of a certain product or the overall performance of a particular political personality. In this project, we fetch the given number of tweets from users and classify it as Positive, Negative and Neutral by the usage of supervised machine learning approach. In this method we’re analyzing the Polarity and Subjectivity of the tweets and then later we’re using NLP to classify the raw records into records body which gets rid of the undesirable words from each of the tweets. Neutral words like ‘as, the, of’ are eliminated from the tweets. Using NLP, we get better results of the tweets, later we classify the tweets using classifying algorithms like Random Forest Classifier, Decision Tree Classifier, Logistic Regression, and Support Vector Classifier. Later it compares the result of tweets which had been analyzed before processing into NLP. We are also using Data Visualization for phrase frequencies, and for displaying a pie or bar chart of a variety of positive, negative and impartial tweets.

Cloud computing acts as a paradigm to support on-demand computing services, from applications to storage, manage and processing capabilities. One of the major challenges in delivering and accessing cloud applications is the management of Quality of Service (QoS) and cloud service providers are mandated to adhere to Service Level Agreement (SLA) in providing quality cloud services to the users. The agreement matching is important for both parties to ensure satisfaction and expectation level. This proposed work aims to resolve cloud QoS violation with the implementation of adaptive preventive and remedial mechanisms. Preventive measure such as horizontal scaling is used to optimize the performance of a running cloud service in order to prevent the cloud service to downgrade to QoS violation condition. Remedial action on the other hand, is to provide fault tolerance using replication for faulty cloud service to recover from failure incidents or already violation condition. Experimental results have demonstrated the feasibility and effectiveness of applying horizontal scaling in preventing and replication in rectifying cloud QoS violations based on response time and throughput.

Increasingly growing various multimedia services (e.g., interactive live video and so on) have brought tremendous pressure on existing static defense techniques. To cope with inherent drawback of static defense techniques, Network Moving Target Defense (NMTD) such as route mutation (RM) was proposed. What's more, applying reinforcement learning (RL) into RM has been proved feasible in our previous work. But two main problems still need to be considered in this combination of RL with RM: 1) It lacks the consideration of multiple flows situation. 2) With the state-action space grow larger, current solution can't handle efficiently. In this paper, we propose a deep Q-learning method for RM (DQ-RM) to solve above two problems. Firstly, benefited from the satisfiability module theory, we formalize RM space considering single flow and multiple flows concurrently. Then we further propose a deep reinforcement learning-based RM scheme based on our previous work, which is suitable for large-scale state-action space. Finally, extensive experimental results highlight the improvement of DQ-RM in defense performance and convergence speed compared to the representative solution. © 2020 IEEE.

The Internet of Things (IoT) is a popular concept that intends connecting a large number of physical objects to exchange data between one another. However, the huge volume of data exchanged, the existence of resource constrained devices, heterogeneity and mobility support, challenge the design of a good network in term of performance in IoT environment. Recently, Named Data networking (NDN) is proposed as a promising networking architecture for future Internet to effectively distribute the massive amount of automated data. NDN which features naming for communication, security, in-network caching and mobility support makes it more suitable for IoT. In this paper, we study the potential behind using the NDN in IoT environment by discussing the main beneficial NDN features for IoT. Subsequently, we discuss the proposed NDN-based IoT applications encountered in the literature, based on that we propose a taxonomy of different applications. Furthermore, we present a comprehensive survey on NDN based content forwarding strategies for NDN-IoT environments with appropriate classification.

In out data-driven society more and more personal and sensitive data is processed and stored making it virtually impossible for end-users to comprehend what happens to their data. Although in health care strict regulations for the processing of personal data already existed, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) provides a EU-wide regulation. Despite these regulations, it still exists a lack of transparency due to high complexity and missing details of privacy policies. The lack of transparency increases when various services are integrated sharing their data and forming virtual data marketplaces with various stakeholders. We argue for the strategic usage of privacy languages, i.e. the Layered Privacy Language (LPL), to formalize and present privacy policies transparently to users, enable consent management, and personalization of privacy requirements. Therefore, LPL policies are intended to fill the gap between the statement of privacy and its realization. Although LPL has been designed with the requirements of privacy policies considering GDPR, real-life privacy policies are required to be expressible with its vocabulary. Therefore, LPL will be validated against a meaningful real-life privacy policy example, that can reflect the future of integrated health care services to demonstrate capabilities, compliance and limitations of privacy languages.

Distributed machine learning is essential for applying deep learning models with many data and parameters. Current researches on distributed machine learning focus on using more hardware devices powerful computing units for fast training. Consequently, the model training prefers a larger batch size to accelerate the training speed. However, the large batch training often suffers from poor accuracy due to poor generalization ability. Researchers have come up with many sophisticated methods to address this accuracy issue due to large batch sizes. These methods usually have complex mechanisms, thus making training more difficult. In addition, powerful training hardware for large batch sizes is expensive, and not all researchers can afford it. We propose a dual batch size learning scheme to address the batch size issue. We use the maximum batch size of our hardware for maximum training efficiency we can afford. In addition, we introduce a smaller batch size during the training to improve the model generalization ability. Using two different batch sizes in the same training simultaneously will reduce the testing loss and obtain a good generalization ability, with only a slight increase in the training time. We implement our dual batch size learning scheme and conduct experiments. By increasing 5% of the training time, we can reduce the loss from 1.429 to 1.246 in some cases. In addition, by appropriately adjusting the percentage of large and small batch sizes, we can increase the accuracy by 2.8% in some cases. With the additional 10% increase in training time, we can reduce the loss from 1.429 to 1.193. And after moderately adjusting the number of large batches and small batches used by GPUs, the accuracy can increase by 2.9%. Using two different batch sizes in the same training introduces two complications. First, the data processing speeds for two different batch sizes are different, so we must assign the data proportionally to maximize the overall processing speed. I

Quality of Services (QoS), network performance, link connectivity and consistent mobility with Call Admission Control (CAC) are the key concerns to ensure best services in mobile or e-healthcare domain. With highly connected environment diverse traffic conditions in healthcare where immediate service is the foremost priority. CAC can limit the call connections viewing emergency calls based on the location in the time-critical services or remote health monitoring. In this research paper our focus is on the selection of potential positions to deploy base stations with significant channel allocation. As part of prior work on CAC based on the Grey Wolf optimizer (GWO) scheme, proposed a channel allocation method to provide assured QoS for mobile or electronic healthcare applications. The proposed method presented with two different scenarios by the grid cross position and uniform mobility and experimental results show how efficiently CAC managed to control the call failure or dropping probability.

Anomaly detection within crowded environments is a key challenge in the computer vision and crowd behaviour understanding fields. Furthermore, anomaly detection within high-density crowds remains an insufficiently explored area. In this paper, we propose a novel abnormal high-density crowd dataset. The proposed dataset adheres to the same constraints as some of the benchmark datasets such as UCSD, UMN and Avenue dataset. These constraints include occurrences of both normal and abnormal behaviour and validated abnormal behaviour annotations. Additionally, this dataset includes footage of only high-density crowds, whereas benchmark datasets include low to medium density crowds. We have taken into consideration privacy issues, the veracity of annotations and pre-processing of the dataset. We evaluate the dataset against state-of-the-art crowd anomaly detection methods. The generated results indicate that training/testing these methods on high-density crowds decreases their detection performance.
