Body Area sensor can enable healthcare monitoring in an unobtrusive way. Medical and healthcare research has been striving to find relationships between core body temperature at female genitals and certain health conditions, such as ovulation period. This paper presents a solution for intra-body temperature monitoring based on a new intra-body sensor, communication and desktop application tool. This new biosensor provides data collection that may be used to study the relation between temperature variations and women health conditions, such as, ovulation period (for both natural contraception and in vitro fertilization purposes) among others. The motivation for this work focuses on the creation of this eHealth solution that will fill the gap we realize in medical technology. The proposal was tested and validated by a medical team and it was concluded that this new biosensor performs perfectly.

IEEE 802.15.4 is the emerging nextgeneration standard specifically designed for low-rate wireless personal area networks (LR-WPAN), which suit wireless sensornetworks applications. It attempts to provide a low cost, low power and short range wireless networking standards. This paper provides the performance analysis of Quality of Service parameters of WSN based on IEEE 802.15.4 star topology using MANET routing. The data packet delivery ratio, average end-to-end delay, total energy consumption, network lifetime and percentage of time in sleep mode are investigated as the performance metrics. The results show that DSR performs better than DYMO, AODV routing protocols for varying traffic loads in star topology beacon enabled mode. Copyright 2010 ACM.

Telecommunications and technology are merging. Convergence is blurring the distinction between wire line voice, cellular, cable and data networks. next-generation mobile networks (NGMN) involve the concept that the nextgeneration of wireless communications will be able to deliver voice calls, video streams, website visits, data services and more through the same device on a transparent network. Flexible and powerful Service platforms, so called Service Delivery Platforms (SDP) are in charge to support the efficient design, creation, deployment and management of seamless high value services in a NGMN. This paper presents the important trends, characteristics and services in a NGMN. Our vision for a NGMN architecture has been discussed. The paper also gives an insight on the impact a NGMN may have on current SDPs and reveals key drivers for a nextgeneration SDP. We propose an innovative nextgeneration SDP architecture, which is transparent and standards based, that enables the delivery of converged nextgeneration services. The paper gives an example of two ¿killer business applications¿ that can be enabled by a NGMN.

Wireless sensornetworks (WSNs) consist of a network of wireless nodes that have the capability to sense a parameter of interest. The sensed parameter is relayed to a base station through the network formed amongst these nodes. The devices used are typically characterized by low cost, low power and are rugged in operation. They are commonly referred to as motes in the WSN domain. The mote integrates programming, computation, communication, and sensing onto a single system and provides an easy user interface for operating and deploying it. The paper presents such a design which minimizes cost, size and current consumption, thus enhancing the life time of the mote.

Every country was conscious of the energy of earth was almost consumption danger, thus they positively developed the new energy of nextgeneration such nuclear energy, wind-power generator, solar energy, biologic energy etc. Among those methods nuclear energy was the better strategy for producing energy for its economical benefits, but it would generate large amount emission of CO2, and finally leading to second pollution and ozonosphere broken to form greenhouse effect and cause gradual ecological damage. That's why all countries again developed all possible methods to conserve energy and decrease CO2 emission and that meant not only regarded energy develop but also energy conserved. This research was mainly to meet with the government policy of energy saving which was positively promoted by Energy Bureau of Taiwan Economy Department and to use all brand-new technology of sensor and communication techniques to construct active intelligent energy-conserved system which was designed on the conception of module to correspond to different energy consumption condition.
