随着公路修建里程增长,为了更高效率地解决路面养护问题,对路面裂缝检测技术进行研究。论文将传统的图像分割处理与Spark结合,提出了一种基于Spark的路面裂缝图像分割处理方法。先将图像预处理转化为二进制文件,读入到分布式文件系统;然后通过传递函数,对裂缝进行图像分割来获得裂缝区域;最后,以局部自适应阈值算法结合Spark平台来进行图像的并行处理,完成裂缝的高效率提取。以在校园拍摄的路面图像数据为实验数据,分别在处理时间和检测准确率这两方面进行实验。由结果可知:利用Spark对数千张图像数据进行计算时,在确定千余张图像数据规模时,双节点比单节点处理时间更少,最多减少了20.4%。在图像分割的准确率方面,已经由之前方法的47.5%提高到了86.3%。实验结果表明,基于Spark的裂缝图像处理,结合局部自适应阈值分割算法进行数千张裂缝图像分割,能有效提升传统方法的处理效率,能实现大规模图像的并行处理。

It becomes an urgent demand how to make people find relevant video content of interest from massive sports videos. We have designed and developed a sports video search engine based on distributed architecture, which aims to provide users with content-based video analysis and retrieval services. In sports video search engine, we focus on event detection, highlights analysis and image retrieval. Our work has several advantages: (I) CNN and RNN are used to extract features and integrate dynamic information and a new sliding window model are used for multi-length event detection. (II) For highlights analysis. An improved method based on self-adapting dual threshold and dominant color percentage are used to detect the shot boundary. Affect arousal method are used for highlights extraction. (III) For image's indexing and retrieval. Hyperspherical soft assignment method is proposed to generate image descriptor. Enhanced residual vector quantization is presented to construct multi-inverted index. Two adaptive retrieval methods based on hype-spherical filtration are used to improve the time efficient. (IV) All of previous algorithms are implemented in the distributed platform which we develop for massive video data processing.

With the opening of electricity market and the popularization of residential intelligent home, the design and implementation of demand response (DR) projects for large-scale residents to participate in grid interaction will be one of the key points for the operation optimization of electricity retailers. In view of decision-making of the electricity retailer considering residential DR, the characteristics of residential load were analyzed in detail, and then a decision model of the electricity retailer in day-ahead market was established based on potential game, aiming at maximizing its profits with the premise no increasing of the residential electricity cost after DR. Therefore, in order to solve the strategies iterative problems with the large-scale residential players, a distributed parallel iterative algorithm was put forward, which could coordinate strategies updating of residential players via their community agents, and it can protect the residential users' interests as well as effectively reduce the cost of purchasing electricity and the peak load of the residents. © 2020 IEEE.

The space thermal environment and sophisticated deployable structure lead to the error of the satellite antenna. In this paper, a parallel-kinematic symmetrical stage to eliminate the error of antenna is proposed to realize the 2-DOF rotation with compact physical size. The flexure Hooke hinge is utilized to replace traditional U-joint with its characteristic of distributed compliance to eliminate the rotation clearance and to improve precision. This parallel mechanism is constituted of two symmetrical chains which are UPS kinematic chains with one spherical joint(S), one ball screw prismatic(P) and one flexure Hooke hinge(U) and one fix chain. Geometric analytical method is implemented to establish the kinematic model and the resolution of the parallel mechanism. A prototype stage is fabricated for experiment study. The open-loop testing is conducted to validate the stage's performance. Result show that the 2-DOF parallel mechanism possesses a compact dimension, which offers a workspace of ±2°×±2° with the repeatability precision of 0.01°.

The k-nearest neighbors (k NN) search is widely used in queries. There are many fields used in the practical world, such as image matching, voice matching, and information retrieval. The tree index structure is a well-known and efficient method, but a significant disadvantage of this method is that it is difficult to balance query time, index space, and query accuracy. Recently, researchers have proposed using graph structures and neural networks to solve the k NN search problem. However, a large amount of space is required to store the graph, which makes it difficult to use graph-based methods in the real world. In this article, we combine the traditional tree-based index structure with neural network technology and propose a new index mechanism NN-tree. First, NN-tree is a tree structure that requires less space. Second, it can optimize the index structure based on past query history to improve query accuracy. Third, NN-tree can use neural networks to replace the tree index structure and use the parallel computing capabilities of the device to speed up the query process. Finally, we propose a discriminator that can adjust the query speed and accuracy. Experiments on ten diverse datasets show that our method has strong versatility and can be compared with state-of-the-art methods in terms of performance.

With the development of computer hardware equipment and deep neural network (DNN) technology, computer vision has received more and more attention from AI developers and researchers. In the field of digital image processing, people try to use some calculation methods and techniques to identify objects in images. In the process of finding the rules, this method is called target detection, which is also a research hotspot in the field of computer vision. High-value area detection is based on target detection technology. On the basis of image detection of digital images, some methods of image are used to segment more concerned areas in the target. In this paper, the method of equally segmenting the image takes the image containing the detected object as input and performs detection to achieve the purpose of detecting high-value areas. The steps of the algorithm are divided into high-value area estimation, image equal segmentation, image data attenuation, algorithm acceleration, target fusion and classification. Advancements in satellite imaging and sensor technologies result in capturing of large amount of spatial data. Many parallel processing techniques based on data or control parallelism have been attempted during the past 2 decades to provide performance improvement in image processing applications such as urban sprawl, weather prediction and crop estimation. These techniques have used block-based distributed file processing or the more modern MapReduce-based programming for implementation which still have gaps between optimal and best processing in terms of resource scheduling, data distribution and ease of programming. In this paper, we present a layered framework for parallel data processing to improve storage, retrieval and processing performance of spatial data on an underlying distributed file system. The paper presents a data placement strategy across a distributed HDFS cluster in a way to optimize spatial data retrieval and processing. The presence of neighborhood pixels local to the processing node in a distributed environment reduces network latencies and improves the efficiency of applications such as object recognition, change detection and site selection. We evaluate the data placement strategy on a four-node HDFS cluster and show that it can deliver good performance benefits by way of reading blocks of data at almost 10-12 times the default, which contributes to the improvement in efficiency of the various applications that use region growing methods.

Aiming at the task requirements of a small fast-moving test vehicle with small space, short flight support interval and real-time task evaluation, at the same time, the future flight test is faced with many test parameters, wide distribution of test systems, and high real-time data requirements. To solve the rapid acquisition test evaluation data in a specific environment, we design distributed system, data analysis and fusion technology, embedded parallel computing and other technologies to realize the parallel computing and real-time processing on airborne data. The calculated data results are directly telemetry or recorded for real-time monitoring and rapid assessment of missions. The design meets the requirements of rapid real-time evaluation during the flight test and improves the flight test efficiency.

The application of coatings by employing Electrophoretic Deposition ( EPD) is one of the key processes in automotive manufacturing. Here, car assemblies or entire car bodies are dipped into a tank of liquid aimed for preventing the object from future corrosion. However, this process is highly non-trivial. In fact, it has to be ensured that no air bubbles emerge during the dipping which may lead to an incomplete coverage of the coating. Moreover, entrapped liquids that remained after dipping out may lead to corrosion in the consecutive manufacturing process. To detect such problems in an early development stage, simulation methods based on Computational Fluid Dynamics ( CFD) are utilized. Additionally, employing a dedicated volumetric decomposition method, this has led to a tool chain ALSIM which allows to simulate the process of EPD with significantly reduced complexity as compared to standard CFD tools. However, despite these benefits, the method still suffers from large execution times. In this work, we are proposing a parallel scheme which allows for an execution on distributed parallel memory architectures. To that end, dedicated workload distribution and memory optimization methods are presented, which eventually allow for an efficient simulation of EPD coatings. Experimental evaluations based on industrial use cases confirm the obtained benefits: While a serial simulation required more than 8 days, the parallel method proposed in this work allows to complete the simulation with 32 processes in less than 15 hours.

Although the distributed machine learning platform is very successful in the application of structured data, it is still very challenging in the absence of labeled data and a variety of data forms. Therefore, heterogeneous domain adaptation (HDA) emerged at the historic moment, with the goal of transferring knowledge between domains of different features and different distributions. Existing HDA methods only focus on the better alignment of the target domain with the source domain, while ignoring the rich semantic structure information of the target domain data itself, thereby affecting the performance of knowledge transfer. In order to solve the above problems, we propose a simple and effective self-training method oriented to the target domain. Specifically, we use the clustering algorithm to find the prototype of the target domain clusters, and select confident unlabeled data through a novel method of finding pseudo-labels that we propose. Under two self-training mechanisms, that is, single-stage Self-training (TST-SS) and multi-stage self-training (TST-MS), without introducing any additional network parameters, gradually train the transferable model. We conducted extensive experiments on cross-domain and cross-feature tasks to prove that our method is far superior to the existing heterogeneous domain adaptation methods.
