In recent decades, there has been a significant increase in the presence of robots in the daily operations of industries. Automated Guided vehicles (AGvs) used in industrial environments are gaining prominence due to their numerous applications, ranging from logistic tasks such as material transport to more complex process tasks like replacing conveyor belts in production lines. For a mobile robot to operate in these environments, it must possess skills to perform its functions and ensure safety. In this regard, simulating a computational model of a real autonomous system can contribute to developing new operational strategies. The objective of this work is to explore the use of a Digital Twin for an Automated Guided vehicle (AGv), aiming to design and validate navigation and obstacle avoidance algorithms, with the intent to optimize the operation of these devices in industrial environments. In the current study, the AGv G3R1000 was used, which was modeled in detail in FUSION 360 software, along with a production line from the AGvS company in Brazil. As validation, the digital robot was used to design the navigation software using the PID control system and obstacle avoidance using Fuzzy control. The algorithm developed in the digital robot was applied to the real robot, and a performance comparison was made. In conclusion, it is possible to use the simulated robot to design algorithms for the real robot, saving resources such as time and equipment.

This abstract presents an innovative approach to promote sustainable energy production through the strategic installation of vertical Axis Wind Turbines (vAWTs) along highways. The proposed system leverages the wind energy generated by passing vehicles and incorporates advanced monitoring and control mechanisms using Internet of Things (IoT) technology. Key components include vAWTs for power generation, battery storage, loT-driven monitoring, and algorithms for data analysis. Real-time data, encompassing wind speed, electricity generation, and battery status, is gathered by IoT devices, transmitted to a central platform, and scrutinized with sophisticated algorithms to enhance overall system efficiency. The stored electricity contributes to a cleaner and more sustainable energy ecosystem, powering various applications. This groundbreaking system not only effectively harnesses renewable energy but also signifies a significant step toward establishing intelligent, environmentally conscious, and energy-sustainable highway infrastructure. © 2024 IEEE.

In the current era of technology, the use of IoT devices have become increasingly popular. On the contrary, there is a growing concern of security in these resource constrained devices as they don't have the computational power required to implement high end security modules like TPM (Trusted Platform Module). Hence, a simple solution for Trusted computing on microcontrollers has been devised with the Device Identifier Composition Engine (DICE). The majority of current solutions make use of non-purpose-built hardware. These implementations rely on black box MPUs (Micro-Processor Units), and the use of hardware that wasn't tailored for DICE causes implementation process difficulties. This paper proposes a dedicated hardware for DICE with some additional novel security features. © 2024 IEEE.

Small IoT devices can only support light protocols since they lack significant processing or storage power. Lightweight encryption standards or techniques will be utilized for encryption and decryption to prevent hackers from accessing the data in order to increase the security of IoT devices' network connections and commands. The encryption has to be robust enough to safeguard and lightweight enough to enable light processing hardware. There aren't many standards for lightweight cryptography that are used to safeguard devices in an existing network. If the network is not secured properly, an intruder can get in and take control of the devices without making a visible appearance. A hybrid lightweight cryptographic methodology have been proposed to address this problem. LWC algorithms are designed to provide strong security while minimizing the computational and memory resources required for encryption and decryption. This is particularly important for IoT devices, which often have limited processing power, storage capacity, and battery life. LWC algorithms offer a range of benefits for IoT devices, including improved security, reduced power consumption, and increased battery life. They are also designed to be easy to implement and integrate with existing IoT platforms and protocols. Proposed system's analytical work implementation will combine Salsa20 and AES algorithms to provide greater security and making it well-suited for real-time cryptography. © 2023 IEEE.

Despite the extensive efforts devoted to fire safety campaigns, the annual incidence of fire outbreaks continues to surge. This alarming trajectory underscores the pressing need for an advanced system engineered to detect fires in their early stages and actively contribute to fire-fighting operations. Contemporary research endeavors are primarily oriented towards the refinement of multi-sensor algorithms designed for fire detection, with the overarching objective of bolstering the sensitivity of fire detection devices while concurrently curtailing the occurrence of false alarms. This intellectual work introduces a meticulously designed and implemented multisensor fire detection and notification system, employing fuzzy logic as its fundamental framework. The essential role of a microcontroller comes into play as it processes data collected from an array of sensors, including the MQ2 smoke sensor, TMP102 temperature sensor, and DFRobot flame sensor. The utilization of fuzzy logic algorithms facilitates precise determination of the prevailing fire status, further enhancing the reliability and effectiveness of the system. © 2024 IEEE.

In this work a Co-Packaged Optics-FPGA-Memory-Power supply 3D module, "LightSiP (TM) System-inPackage" is presented. The Power Supply Design discussed here is for a multi-functional system consisting of two FPGAs, 16 Memory chips, PCIe switch, PLL, System controller IC, Optical Interconnect, and other ICs. The 3-D stacked LightSiP (TM), is emerging as a viable option in addressing the increasing demands for data bandwidth in processing. Its unique architecture, which incorporates many ICs (I/O), necessitates thorough planning and analysis of the power distribution network (PDN) to ensure the effective functioning of the entire system interface. The module requires nine different vCC levels. We generated the required voltages from a single 12v ATX connector. In our study, we analyzed three distinct power supply circuits sourced from Renesas, Texas Instruments, and Analog devices with a focus on efficiency. The assessment involved computing the total power requirements for our System-in-Package (SiP), determining the required number of components, and evaluating the overall power efficiency for a total power demand of 194W.

The world as a whole now depends on the data that people have stored online and how these developments are tracked in the future. To satisfy the requirements of safeguarding the information of an individual, a company, or a rapidly growing sector, there is only one standard. The first phase, encryption, and the second, decryption, are absolutely necessary to complete. Data is encrypted for protection, then it is decrypted for retrieval. The Advanced Encryption Standard provides the highest level of security for data protection, ensuring that its processing remains hidden. Data on edge devices is encrypted using the AES method by Fog. Since AES has never experienced a data breach, safety and security are the most fundamental truths that may be discovered through its use. Data from Edge devices is encrypted and then modified using fog computing to secure it using the AES technique. The data is then recovered by decryption. The secret key is primarily concerned with data entering and returning to the source, which transforms the proper propagation outcome. © 2024 IEEE.

FinFET technology, a groundbreaking leap in semiconductor design, has substantially affected the buildup of hardware for the use of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) applications. This study investigates the developing uses of FinFETs in AI and ML hardware, explaining their high-quality fulfillment, power efficiency, and scalability. As AI and ML algorithms demand greater computing capacity, FinFETs offer a solid answer by raising processing speed and accuracy as they lowering power consumption. This study explores numerous applications among them neuromorphic computer technology, edge AI devices, and computing performance for ML training. It also includes FinFET-based methodology case studies, demonstrating their distinct benefits over antiquated technology. Although FinFETs may have manufacturing issues and constraints, they will advance technology for ML and AI. This study emphasizes FinFET technology's crucial role in satisfying AI and ML demands, enabling further along efficient and effective hardware solutions. © 2024 IEEE.

In this age of technology, with digital devices being accessible by almost everyone, have made our lives much better. With the advent of Machine Learning and advanced algorithms at our tips, the applications are immensurate. Such an application can be found in the health-care sector. The need for better and accessible health-care is of immense precedence. In this paper, we employed Machine Learning algorithms like Logistic Regression and other state of the art techniques to predict diabetes, given patient data. Diabetes is an incessant condition that is affecting millions worldwide, every year. Early detection of diabetes and prompt diagnosis is crucial. We have addressed that using a chat-bot to predict diabetes, which we believe is a portable and accessible solution for first-level assessment. We have employed PIMA Indian Diabetes Dataset into our chat-bot, providing interactive medical advice, and enhancing patient engagement, using Telegram API, resulting in an accuracy of 77%. © 2024 IEEE.

Mobile edge computing is an emerging technology that enables mobile devices to access cloud services with reduced latency by moving computing, storage, and network control closer to the network edge. This advancement allows mobile devices to operate for longer periods on a single charge. With the advent of 5G communications, there is increasing interest in exploring the integration of mobile edge computing within existing mobile networks. The proposed work aims to develop a portable 5G computing system that offloads computational tasks to edge servers, thereby reducing latency and improving energy efficiency. The work focuses on designing efficient workload allocation algorithms to optimize the distribution of tasks to the supported servers. By implementing and evaluating a practical mobile-based computing system based on Long-Term Evolution (LTE), this research aims to demonstrate the real-world effectiveness of such mobile edge computing programs, with particular emphasis on reducing delays and enhancing energy efficiency. © 2023 IEEE.
