this research is focused on implementation of pass transistor logic (PTL) methods in the synthesis process of both the diagnostic equipment and the fault-tolerant circuits. The pass transistor logic is usually used for implementing XOR and MUX functions. For example, LUT in FPGA or XOR/XNOR gates in arithmetic logic units can be designed with PTL. We think that PTL method can be used to design novel logic gates with a self-diagnostic function and possibly self-recovery. The brief overview of pass transistor logics will be given in the first section of the paper. The reliability analysis and the examples of logic recovery using PTL are presented in this paper. The PTL designs are represented in digital devices but not for high reliable applications. That is why this subject should be further researched.

To determine the diagnostic parameters of the fuel system of engines of grain harvesters, technological and structural parameters of the technical condition were considered. The authors investigate the structural schemes of indicator connection of the purpose (performance) of the fuel system of engines and parameters of the technical state of its structural elements. For example, we consider the modal structure diagram, which characterizes the fuel system of grain harvester engines and parameters of the technical state of their structural elements. At the highest level there are parameters that describe the process of fuel supply and directly determine the characteristics of injection, or the law of fuel supply. On the lower levels there are parameters that characterize the technical state of the most important elements of the fuel equipment. They are used for elemental diagnostics. Experimental studies of vibration characteristics of nozzles of diesel engines have shown that the energy vibration nozzles manifested most actively at the frequency from 5 kHz to 10 kHz. Application of Hilbert's conversion to vibration analysis has made it possible to use the ability to control the identity of nozzles and identify defects, such as breakage of nozzles and spray gun hangs. When the injection pressure changes from 27.0 MPa to 8.0 MPa, signal duration, which is measured between the front and rear fronts with maximum amplitudes, decreases 2 times. Application of technological cards together with diagnostic means will allow in 1,5 times to cut down the technical equipment due to technical problems at expense of preventing bursts and reducing the fuel consumption by 5-10 %. Particular attention was paid to the development of communication systems and the integration of control and protection systems. The development of modern methods of communication and diagnostics of industrial facilities include unambiguous identification and location of failures in real time, collection of historical data and current operational states. This was not possible when the transmission of data took place over a wire-based communication. The reliability of the proposed solutions 4.0 include not only redundance (as it was in classic systems), but also the ability of the modification of system structure was also analyzed. Modern bearings used in spindle assemblies of metal cutting machines for low vibration conditions on such machines shall provide low vibration machining modes. However, there are often situations where such bearings, even new ones, have some defects. One of the most common defects to date is a defect in the internal or external ring of the separator. The spindle itself, which may lose alignment, may be defective from the point of ensuring the absence of vibrations, in which case beats at the speed of the spindle will be observed in the machine. Proposed method of automatic control of bearings of spindle assembly makes it possible to estimate degree of defect of bearing separator outer ring by vibration dynamics of spindle rotation in metal cutting machine, as well as to estimate presence or absence of beats caused by misalignment of spindle. The automated control method itself is based on the use of signal filtering, in the range of interest to us in terms of finding a specific fault.

Current multistage hydraulic fracturing operations in shale are costly, environmentally challenging and inefficient. Multistage hydraulic fracturing operations already represent close to 60% of the total drilling and completion cost for each shale well. The industry studies reported that based on data evaluated in multiple shale basins in North America alone that up to 50% of the clusters and stages do not produce in geometric completion design. Shale E&P operators need more accurate, cost-efficient, timely and actionable data on the performance of individual fracturing stages and intra-well communication to enable improved decision-making and optimization of multistage hydraulic fracturing and completion strategy, as well as overall field development. This paper will describe a revolutionary smart tracer portfolio testing and design for multistage hydraulic fracturing stimulation. The technology enables the next generation of smart tracers coupled with advanced sub-atomic measurements that significantly reduce the completion cost and double the efficiency of the hydraulic fracturing treatments. An automated process with stringent quality control assured precise tracer addition onsite and provided accurate and actionable completion diagnostics results at fraction of the cost for high-cost measurements (e.g., PLT, DTS & DAS). The integration of smart tracer portfolio with intelligent-completion diagnostics for E&P customer enabled by performance-flow-profile data. This data used to optimize completion strategies, achieve optimal production per foot, and reduce completion cost.
