Public restrooms needs to be frequently cleaned to maintain public health and hygiene. Traditional bathroom cleaning techniques may not solve current cleanliness issues. This research proposes an advanced robotics, Internet of Things (IoT), and Recurrent Neural Networks (RNNs) solution to these problems. The proposed system uses autonomous robots with IoT sensors and cameras. Robots identify cleaning and maintenance needs in restrooms. A central system receives data from IoT sensors on cleanliness indicators, including toilet paper, soap, and foot movement. Recurrent Neural Networks (RNN) processes this data to predict and prioritize cleaning requirements. The RNN monitors toilet conditions in real time and reacts to changing use and cleaning needs. This dynamic technique optimizes cleaning resource allocation and maintains facility cleanliness. The device also warns cleaning personnel when certain areas need quick attention. This novel technique makes restroom care more cost-effective, responsive, and environmentally friendly by combining robots, IoT, and RNNs. This study advances smart facility management, which uses technology to improve public space cleanliness, user experience, and resource usage.

A potential approach to improve firefighters' performance in difficult emergencies has been the combination of exoskeletons with Internet of Things (IoT) technologies in recent years. To provide adaptive assistance to firefighters during crucial missions, this research presents a new framework that uses reinforcement learning (RL) algorithms combined with IoT exoskeletons. The proposed system uses interconnected sensors built into the exoskeletons to track various environmental and physiological variables, including core temperature, heart rate, and ambient light intensity. Firefighters' health and the danger level of the environment are evaluated using these data points in real time. Autonomously adjusting their support systems to offer appropriate help based on the dynamic situation, the exoskeletons use RL techniques. The system learns to predict the actions of firefighters, adapt the amount of help in real-time, and maximize energy efficiency to keep running for longer due to feedback and iterative learning processes. Firefighters and incident command centers can communicate seamlessly with the proposed framework, allowing real-time situational awareness and decision assistance. Firefighters' ability to be safe and successful during emergency operations is greatly enhanced by exoskeletons. smart solutions can protect first responders from harm and make them more resilient in dangerous situations.

smart catheters integrated with multiple sensors measure and provide surgeons with physiological data such as temperature, heart rate, pH value, blood flow or pressure. This feedback information enabled surgeons to better monitor and evaluate a patient's condition during the procedure. Thus, surgeons will be able to make accurate medical intervention and lead to a better health outcome for the patient. However, there is a growing trend to employ smaller catheters for certain procedures. Challenges faced by smart catheters include limited space for sensors integration which promotes the initiative to minimize sensor packaging. This led to secondary challenge of radiopaque visibility and biocompatibility for such sensor package. In this work, radiopaque visibility studies have been conducted and a minimum tungsten thickness of 100um is required for a sample size of 1.8mm (L) x 0.7mm (W). Additional radiopaque ink can be used as an alternative for die attach adhesive. The sensor package includes a polyimide-nitinol based flexible circuitry substrate with silicon-based sensor chip, radiopaque material (tungsten) and epoxy encapsulant has been verified to be biocompatible and suitable for catheter-based application.

In this work, we present a novel design of smart Chair for Bio medical Application. The main purpose of this proposal is to implement health monitoring system of patients to check medical history using Internet of things. For that we had used various parameter of sensor embedded with chair to read patient’s vital signs automatically whenever patient sit on a chair. Apart from that we are using RFID (Radio frequency Identification) card interface with chair for personal identification of patients in hospitals particularly with name, age, health problem etc. Hence, our proposal can be achieved in two cases for hospital as well as for home. At home smart chair can be used for senior citizen or handicap people for regular check-up while sitting on a chair whenever required. In this case, if physiological parameter (e.g., blood pressure, heart rate, pulse rate, body weight and temperature) reads vital signs all matched to its normal value then it indicates green light. And if 3 to 4 parameters get abnormal or varying then it indicates red light and gives alarm notification through android app to the doctor or nearby hospital staffs through alert message in case of emergency, to take appropriate action. In our case we are using Android app or display screen to display the data or results through Wi-Fi module via internet and can be access it from anywhere and anytime. Here, we are storing patient medical history through android application for future reference.

Most people are unable to identify their actual illness, and many patients die before they are hospitalized. Therefore, in this research, a health monitoring system (HMS) is proposed and it suggests diseases such as arrhythmia, diabetes, fever, etc. and diagnoses chronic diseases in the ambulance itself and provides real-time prediction for critical and normal patients. The proposed system has a multi-tiered structure where physiological features are captured by wearable medical sensors (WMS) and machine learning suites are used to analyze data and to detect chronic diseases. Results obtained on the real datasets puts forward that sensor data and machine learning can effectively predict chronic diseases in real time. HMS can predict accuracies of various conditions such as arrhythmia (98.89%). Diabetes (96.74%), hypertension (98.85%), fever (99.85%) and thyroid (97.4%). In conclusion, we can say that the proposed HMS can assist us to monitor the affected person's physical condition at his/her residence, or at the ambulance within the golden hour of a patient's life.

COVID-19 and other highly transmissible respiratory infections are considerable challenges to all countries' health and medical systems. Due to the virus cross-infection and limited medical and healthcare resources, many countries have encountered difficulties in bearing or dealing with this situation. Fortunately, the vast majority of positive patients are asymptomatic or show mild symptoms, so it is necessary to carry out isolation staying home and basically monitor their disease's progress to detect potential worsening signs promptly. According to the above issues, this work provides an effective solution by proposing a remote telehealth monitoring approach for infected subjects in self-isolation that is based on a multi-sensor fusion method. In this approach, we use a radar sensor to monitor basic activities and breathing patterns;we also obtain patient's blood oxygen saturation and heartbeat information through a smart wrist bracelet. Experimental results show that our method is practical and feasible for monitoring subjects in a self-isolated environment.

A person goes through a speaking and listening process that repeats verbal, physiological, and acoustic steps for communication. Voice recognition technology utilizing a range of sensor technologies using biosignals that are measurable in these human voice activities has developed rapidly in recent years. In particular, with the development of voice recognition technology based on artificial intelligence, the related market has expanded and is being released into various services. But the problem with voice recognition still exists and there are more cases of abuse. In addition, despite advances in technology, there is a problem where the associated services are not available to patients with laryngectomy or impaired pronunciation. Therefore, this paper focuses on silent recognition, which does not require vocalization, and introduces the technologies that may be used in implementing voice security systems in the future, including sensor technology, and further discusses the need to consider issues and support policies related to privacy when using the technology.

Due to the rising cases of Covid-19 in the world especially in Malaysia, the impact had been hit hard for many people. Due to this all people must be isolated in their home. It has affected the well-being and working life of millions of people across the world. Due to this disease, the mental health among people has increased significantly for the past 2 years. According to MoH, out of 983 Malaysian students, about 20.4%, 6.6%, and 2.8% are experienced minimal to moderate, marked to severe, and most extreme levels of anxiety, respectively. The main stressors are the remote online teaching, and uncertainty about the future regarding study and career which can affect mental health. Thus, the main objective of this project is to develop a product that may provide different medication methods to its users by helping people who suffer anxiety, stress, and depression. We used aromatherapy, positive quotes, and music therapy in order to release stress. The user can also check his or her pulse rate by only touching the fingerprint through the sensor. The microcontrollers used in this project are Arduino Uno and Arduino Mega to build the project circuit. The experimental results can improve body health, mind and spirit which enhances both physical and emotional health.

In this paper we focus on the sensor scheduling for dynamic state estimation among multiple processes. Multiple sensors transmit their measurements to the remote estimator via a shared wireless channel. Only a subset of sensors are allowed to transmit at each time. The objective of the scheduler is to maximize a linear combination of the terminal time estimation error covariances in a log-determinant sense. We develop conditions under which the objective is monotone and submodular. A submodularity-based greedy scheduling algorithm is proposed, and its performance bound is provided. Numerical examples are presented to illustrate the theoretical findings.

A rich source of information relevant to smart cities and health care comes from sensors embedded in the environment, or ambient sensors. Strategically responding to sensed data helps healthcare would be smarter. By gaining real time access to this information, city services can respond promptly to urgent health needs and make decisions to avoid unhealthy situations. The emergence of virtual reality and ICT assisted urban planning effectively overcomes these complexities through visualization of big data. Web-based visualization technologies such as virtual reality (VR) present a highly detailed dynamic virtual environment. Also, there is continuously increasing demand for the effective organization of this diversified data, linkage with other data, and the visualization of data. In recent years, there has been a rapid increase in the development of health information systems motivated by legislation intended to protect patients' information and privacy and government interest in reducing the cost and improving the quality of healthcare. In this paper, we investigate types of physiological content and the related sensors that can be included in a smart city healthcare system. We present a technical healthcare information model with xML in a standardized format for the implementation of a 3D virtual smart city as follows: Firstly, 3D virtual environment and healthcare information systems were confirmed to be dictated by sensor information parameters via xML. Secondly, real-time location, direction, and health data representation for 3D health management sensor data monitoring and real-time monitoring were conducted in xML. The identified key use case physiological sensor-based xML is helpful as it provides a standardized format for the implementation of a 3D virtual smart city. For implementation, x3D was used for visualizing an example health information system.
