The known methods of signal processing of information transmission systems with space-time coding are quite successful in combating signal fading. However, these methods do not reduce the influence of external interference signals correlated in different reception channels. The article proposes a method for compensating external interference to systems with space diversity. The structure of the interference compensator is described. The method has been experimentally investigated. The experiments used a communication system with 2x space diversity. The proposed interference compensator showed the ability to suppress external narrow-band radio interference by at least 40 dB, and broadband barriers by 15 dB. © 2021 IEEE.

The article considers the possibility of applying the principle of unbundling in the thermal calculations of onboard signal processing devices. It is established that when performing such calculations, the problem of large time expenditures inevitably arises, as well as the need for a large number of system resources. The estimation of machine time and system resources costs is made in the case of splitting a General task into a number of subtasks on the principle of unbundling. A method is proposed for moving from lower-level tasks to higher-level tasks, taking into account the docking parameters. The estimation of saving of machine time and system resources costs is made when using the proposed principle of unbundling. © 2021 IEEE.

The objective of the research is to formalize the customer service quality assessment system, which allows using digital signal processing methods in developing of the rating systems for the operator of the joint mobility market. At the moment, each company uses its own rating system for mobility services, the calculation of which is based on classical time series analysis approaches, which prevents the formation of a common accessible transport system of the city. This problem is insufficiently covered in scientific publications due to its novelty, but it is key to achieving the same level of satisfaction with services for users on each type of transport. The problem of constructing a rating system model is solved using linear digital filtering methods based on the driver's state graph, where, after fulfilling uniquely specified conditions, movement from one vertex to another occurs. The model opens the way to the formalization of the improvement applied to the rating system and determine the optimal parameters of the model. The effectiveness assessment of the new rating system confirmed its positive impact on the metric evaluating provided service quality and its high sensitivity to the change in parameters, which in turn will serve the long-term goals of creating a comfortable urban environment and reducing the negative environmental consequences from the use of individual vehicles.

Ground handling is part of the work process of any onboard complex. The article presents a model of the process of such service, based on the queuing theory methods. The model based on the assumption that random values describing these processes may have arbitrary distributions, which in turn affects the quality of board service. Differences in the values of quality indicators can reach in the case of different distribution laws, they can differ by an order of magnitude, which can be of significant importance when deciding on the deployment of the next point of on-board service. The fundamental importance has that are investigated not the average values of service quality indicators, but their maximum values, which are guaranteed for a predetermined proportion of the entire flow of boards arriving for service. © 2021 IEEE.

The analysis of the influence of identical materials simultaneously stored in a special database on the accuracy of quantitative interpretation of reflection spectra in the framework of monitoring space objects is carried out. It is proposed to use a new classification of the reflection spectra of materials and coatings (according to the cross-correlation coefficient) and leave one material in each class of the generated database. The dependence of the identification performance on the threshold value of the correlation coefficient is shown. © 2021 IEEE.

There is a need to universalize the diagnostic processes of the operability of various radio technical devices and communication systems (RDCS). However, the presence of a wide range of ISSS requires different, sometimes extremely specific, approaches to their diagnosis. In addition, there is no universal method for storing and processing information containing signs of certain malfunctions, deviations in the quality indicators of the RDCS operation, the reasons for their occurrence and how to eliminate them. It is proposed to solve this problem by using an automated analysis of the quality indicators of the work of the ISSS in the semantic expert system. It will allow you to flexibly associate any indicator of the quality of the RDCS with the cause that influenced it, as well as to link the latter with the method or methods of eliminating the cause, which will provide the proposed algorithmic and software with the opportunity to accumulate knowledge in the field of performance analysis and act as an expert in the process of diagnosing the RDCS. © 2021 IEEE.

The influence of multiplicative noise on the directional patterns of phased and synthesized antenna arrays is analyzed. Multiplicative noise is regarded as a source of fast phase and amplitude distortion of signals received or radiated by the antenna. It is shown that multiplicative noise changes the multiplier of the array. Expressions of the directional pattern of the phased array exposed to multiplicative noise are obtained, taking into account the aperture distribution of phasing errors, as well as a generalized directional pattern of the array with phase shifters. The features of arrays with delay lines are described, and an expression for determining the directional pattern of such arrays is obtained. The features of synthesized antenna arrays are considered. The directional pattern of a focused antenna array under the influence of multiplicative noise is analyzed. Expressions for the directional pattern are obtained taking into account the time of the relative delay of signal reception relative to the central element of the array. It is shown that the obtained expressions for the phased antenna array and the array with phase shifters are also valid for synthesized antenna arrays.

The demand for satellite communication services is increasing every year. One promising solution is high-throughput satellite (HTS) networks in geostationary Earth orbit (GEO). To provide high-speed communications over a large area on the Earth's surface, HTS nodes use multi-beam onboard antennas. Modern communication systems handle multiservice traffic, including real-time and elastic traffic, requiring efficient radio resource management. This paper addresses the problem of servicing multiservice traffic in an HTS node, where elastic traffic service rates are constrained. To evaluate quality-of-service (QoS) metrics, a mathematical model based on Markov process theory is developed. Efficient resource utilization while meeting strict QoS requirements is crucial; therefore, an approximate method is introduced to estimate key service parameters. The proposed method is both fast and accurate, enabling real-time computation for resource planning and optimization tasks. Its performance is evaluated through numerical experiments, demonstrating its effectiveness in the low-loss region of request servicing. Furthermore, the method is applied to a channel resource planning problem, illustrating its efficiency in determining the minimum resource requirements needed to meet predefined QoS targets.

The article considers the contemporary trends that telecommunication companies are facing in the rapidly changing technological environment. One of the trends is the technology of network virtualization, which allows to significantly increase the efficiency of network resources through the organization of multiple virtual resources based on one physical resource. The objective of this study is to analyze new tools available for the implementation of a virtual IP PBX. Virtualization and containerization technologies that affect the efficient operation of VoIP services are studied in the paper. The implementation of these technologies has been shown to facilitate more efficient use of server resources and more secure interaction with multiple tools for analyzing system operation. The principles of integrating software telephone exchanges into the virtualized environment are considered. Special attention is paid to the integration of a virtual Asterisk exchange into the containerized environment. Approaches to automating Asterisk's deployment and management in the microservice architecture using a Kubernetes platform are also considered. It is recommended that virtualization and containerization technologies should be incorporated into the curricula of technical universities.)

The article is devoted to the study of subjective warmth-coldness of colors for various tasks, primarily color contrasting. The study was conducted for 80 colors at average brightness. Based on the primary data, an inaccurate model was created that allows determining warmer colors for obvious cases. Based on the model, a clarifying method for subjective assessment of warmth-coldness was implemented, which made it possible to reduce the number of subjective tests per subject, thereby increasing the quality of the results. Reducing the number of tests also made it possible to increase the density of the colors in question, which also positively affected the accuracy of the resulting model. The article presents a method for determining warmth-coldness taking into account the inaccurate model, as well as the results of experiments of primary and refined tests. Based on the experimental results, a new model was built, its accuracy was analyzed, and conclusions were made on the possibility of applying the research results for color contrasting. In addition, for convenience and the possibility of using intermediate colors, the model was approximated using polynomial regression, the regression error was analyzed, and conclusions were made on the possibility of practical use of approximated data instead of experimental data.
