The article considers the problems research methods and means improvement of indicators communication quality of fiber-optic transmission systems using the technology spectral and dense spectral multiplexing optical signals with frequency and time division of optical communication channels. Based on the research communication quality, methods of calculation indicators noise immunity reception optical signals in fiber-optic transmission systems using the technology wave multiplexing are proposed. Based on the methods calculating the quality of communication, important analytical expressions were obtained that evaluate the required optical signal-to-noise ratio, receiver sensitivity, permissible losses, average signal powers, bit error probability, and power penalty. For comparative analysis, graphical dependencies of the penalty for the optical signal power in a single-mode fiber on the extinction coefficient of the modulator in the transmitting optical module were given.) © 2025 IEEE.

The accuracy of positioning and determining the spatial orientation of mobile robotic systems (MRS) that monitor traffic conditions, urban infrastructure, assess emergency situations and their consequences, etc., directly depends on the efficiency of processing information received from machine vision systems (MVS). Some of the most effective methods for assessing the navigation parameters of MRS using MVS are methods based on calculating the velocity field of the optical flow reflected from the surface. At the same time, direct calculation of the velocity field is a very complex computational task. In the practical use of existing methods for processing optical flow based on various assumptions, the computational costs are often unrealizable for on-board computers, which makes it impossible to solve the navigation problem in real time. Due to the relevance of this problem, the article considers one of the possible options for its solution, based on solving a system of linear equations and providing minimal computational costs when determining the linear and angular velocities of MRS, easily implemented in the on-board computer in real time. A natural experiment was conducted to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach. © 2025 IEEE.

The article analyzes the role of satellite communications in the ecosystem of fifth-generation networks and the prospects for its development. The key features of 5G technology, the limitations of terrestrial networks, and the benefits of satellite integration for global coverage, resiliency, and mobility support are discussed. Special attention is paid to technical and economic challenges, such as signal delay, power consumption, standardization and launch costs, and modern solutions are proposed, including protocol optimization, the use of artificial intelligence and the development of reusable rockets. The prospects of satellite communications are discussed, including mass connection of subscribers ' devices, improvement of communication in remote regions, and support for missioncritical applications. It is shown that the integration of satellites into the 5G ecosystem will be a key factor for creating a global, reliable and high-speed communication network that can meet the growing needs of the digital society. © 2025 IEEE.

Three variants of models of specialized distributed computing systems containing one, two and four parallel task queues are considered. Such systems are characterized by continuous non-stationary internal task flows. In these systems, the input tasks are parallelized into an a priori unknown number of data-independent subtasks. And when a certain subtask containing a solution is completed, all other branches of this task are deleted. The aim of the work was to study the behavior of such systems when they are organized with several parallel queues. The issues of changing the efficiency and performance of such systems with an increase in the number of queues are considered. Studies have shown that the use of several queues makes it possible to increase productivity without increasing computing resources. © 2025 IEEE.

The article presents methods of multicriterial optimization, which are of the greatest interest in the complex control systems synthesis, such as logistic transport systems (LTS). Complex systems synthesis involves the design of derivative structures optimized by a vector criteria. The main multicriterial optimization theory postulate is the position on the unattainability in the general case of exact optimization of the vector functional, which gives rise to a variety of methods and models for solving multicriterial optimization problems. In this article, we will analyze methods for modeling user ratings of a video sequence and their potential application to extended reality systems. The main approaches and algorithms used to evaluate the quality of a video sequence are considered, their advantages and disadvantages for 2D and 3D content are revealed. The aim of the work is to develop our own method for evaluating the quality of 3D models to improve relevance and efficiency, taking into account the features of 3D content, since most of the metrics were created to meet the needs of two-dimensional systems. The research results can be used in the development and optimization of augmented reality systems, as well as in other areas where it is necessary to evaluate the quality of 3D models based on user preferences. © 2025 IEEE.

This paper addresses the problem of deploying complex systems in Kubernetes clusters. It discusses using the OperatorSDK framework supported by RedHat as a basis for implementing the Kubernetes operator for Lightweight MultiAccess Edge Computing Platform Simulator (LWMECPS) deployment. Special attention is given to the operator Kubernetes architecture and how to use Operator Lifecycle Manager (OLM) to continuously deploy LWMECPS and machine learning models for it. © 2025 IEEE.

The article is devoted to study of influence of changing energy parameter on estimation of accuracy of measuring position parameters of drones by time difference of arrival (TDOA) system through use of spatial-temporal signal processing. In MATLAB modeling of dependences of mean square deviation of radio emission source (RES) position error on signal-to-noise ratio in TDOA system when spatial-temporal signal processing is applied. The description of methodology of building maps of levels of standard deviation of RES position error depending on energy parameter for a system of five receiving points is presented. This approach can be useful in design of TDOA system with spatial-temporal signal processing, since it allows predicting errors received in coverage area. The distinctive feature of technique is that standard deviation of difference-distance measurement depends on mutual location of RES and receiving points. © 2025 IEEE.

In modern industry and transport systems, control to ensure the accuracy of technology processes is of crucial significance. The article provides examples of using the theory of dynamic systems to ensure the accuracy of control systems for elements of transport systems, allowing for monitoring, optimization and intensification of processes based on automated systems for analyzing control system indicators. Control systems encounter such disturbing factors as dynamic loads, equipment wear and tear and external factors leading to variations from specified parameters. The paper presents studies of dynamic characteristics to determine potential opportunities for adjusting process parameters, which in turn help in identifying the causes of deviations and determining optimal process parameters. The proposed methods for assessing the quality indicators of control systems are proposed for use in digital signal processing, control systems and other applications related to the analysis of dynamic systems. © 2025 IEEE.
