The article provides an analysis of new code structures of maximum length obtained from rows of quasi-orthogonal matrices. Codes of maximum length (m-sequences, codes constructed on the basis of Legendre symbols or quadratic residues, codes generated on the basis of Jacobi symbols and others) have the potential to be widely used both in remote sensing radar systems and in noise-immune and noise-proof systems high-speed communications as a replacement for widely used Barker codes. The questions of searching and researching new noise-resistant codes constructed on the basis of persymmetric circulants are considered. Comparison of performance ratings obtained with the new code sequences is given. The advantages of the codes obtained in the work are discussed in the aspects of increasing the correlation characteristics, their detection, and noise immunity in the radio channels of distributed systems. Since these codes have potential applications in radar, not only the correlation properties (autocorrelation and periodic correlation function) are considered, as for communication systems, but also the ambiguity function, which takes into account not only the correlation of signals in time, but also in frequency. The results show the possibility for their use in distributed location systems, not only in the case of remote sensing of the earth, but also in the field of application of the transmission of generated signals to points of joint information processing.

The article considers the possibility of applying the principle of unbundling in the thermal calculations of onboard signal processing devices. It is established that when performing such calculations, the problem of large time expenditures inevitably arises, as well as the need for a large number of system resources. The estimation of machine time and system resources costs is made in the case of splitting a General task into a number of subtasks on the principle of unbundling. A method is proposed for moving from lower-level tasks to higher-level tasks, taking into account the docking parameters. The estimation of saving of machine time and system resources costs is made when using the proposed principle of unbundling.

This article is dedicated to the analysis of existing regulatory and legal acts in the field of regulating the use and testing of highly automated and autonomous vehicles in the EU, USA, and Russia. The statistical information of road accidents relevant for the Russian conditions is presented for the purpose of localizing the critical test scenarios. The results of virtual tests of pedestrian protection system (PPS) conducted in Siemens Prescan software for different weather and lighting conditions are presented, as well as some other practical cases of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) simulation.
The emergence of on-board processors (OBPs) allows the manipulation of signals at the satellite transponder which can lead to efficient implementation of digital predistortion techniques. However, due to limitations l...

There is a need to universalize the diagnostic processes of the operability of various radio technical devices and communication systems (RDCS). However, the presence of a wide range of ISSS requires different, sometimes extremely specific, approaches to their diagnosis. In addition, there is no universal method for storing and processing information containing signs of certain malfunctions, deviations in the quality indicators of the RDCS operation, the reasons for their occurrence and how to eliminate them. It is proposed to solve this problem by using an automated analysis of the quality indicators of the work of the ISSS in the semantic expert system. It will allow you to flexibly associate any indicator of the quality of the RDCS with the cause that influenced it, as well as to link the latter with the method or methods of eliminating the cause, which will provide the proposed algorithmic and software with the opportunity to accumulate knowledge in the field of performance analysis and act as an expert in the process of diagnosing the RDCS.

Ground handling is part of the work process of any onboard complex. The article presents a model of the process of such service, based on the queuing theory methods. The model based on the assumption that random values describing these processes may have arbitrary distributions, which in turn affects the quality of board service. Differences in the values of quality indicators can reach in the case of different distribution laws, they can differ by an order of magnitude, which can be of significant importance when deciding on the deployment of the next point of on-board service. The fundamental importance has that are investigated not the average values of service quality indicators, but their maximum values, which are guaranteed for a predetermined proportion of the entire flow of boards arriving for service.

Currently, there is no method for assessing the quality of information audio signal transmission over the transmission channel. According to Russian National Standard (GOST), simple stationary test signals should be used for channel evaluation. II additional processing devices should be disabled, while test signal is applied. Compact representation of signal and it's effect of signal quality are ignored. Based on the results of the research carried out by the authors, it is possible to determine the relationship between the change in a number of objective parameters and the subjective quality assessment from real listeners.

The paper considers the data distribution algorithm that is responsible for how data can be entered into the system or obtained from it. The algorithm is based on the property of self-similarity, which is inherent in fractals. As an implementation model, two distribution models based on sectors and rings are proposed, the geometric dimensions of which are determined from the normalized reliability of data storage systems. The main criterion for choosing a model is computational efficiency. The proposed approach will improve the reliability of data storage and optimize data distribution.

The focus of this paper is on the development of S-band radar using the Lyrtech Small Form Factor (SFF) Software Defined Radio (SDR) for generating the Chirp-Z signal. The Lyrtech SDR platform has a high speed AD/DA conversion board and a tunable RF board, which enable a flexible radar design. To achieve a functional radar system, the development kids of the SFF SDR have to be fully utilized. This paper introduces the usage of both software and hardware resources of the SDR for converting the SDR into a waveform-programmable radar, which can benefit the study of radar systems using generic SDR platforms. Based on our approach, we develop an S-band radar which is used to transmit a Chirp-Z radar waveform modulated on a 2.2GHz carrier. The structure and the development kits of the SFF platform are introduced, and the development of the S-band radar by using the development kits discussed. Finally, both transmitted and received Chirp-Z signals using the developed radar system are demonstrated.

Digital laboratory work based on specialized hardware and software complexes is being actively implemented as part of the educational process. There is a strict time limit for students to perform a laboratory work, with a large amount of measurements needed. Because of this, it is necessary to optimize the workflow of educational test cases. This is unattainable when using several software products (that are not related to each other and even do not have compatible data exchange formats or protocols) within the same work. This article discusses the existing model of laboratory work, and ways to increase performance of students in the educational process.
