In this paper we discuss the methods for measuring optical signal to noise ratio (OSNR) in high-speed coherent channels of optical transmission systems. The following OSNR measurement methods are presented in this article: out-of-band without channel disabling (but such a method has its own limitations in the field of application) and in-band with or without disabling the optical channel. In-band or in-service methods of measuring of the OSNR in next generation optical dense wavelength division multiplexing (DWDM) systems with coherent optical channels, polarization multiplexing and quadrature amplitude modulation (QAM) format is still under discussion. This article states that it is preferable to calculate OSNR without disabling the optical channels based on an estimation of the correlation relationships between spectral components at predetermined pairs of spaced wavelengths.

This paper investigates the effectiveness of the blind signal separation algorithm in the problem of detecting digital BPSK signals. The classical methods of blind separation of signals and criteria for signal independence are considered. A model of the studied algorithm for blind signal separation is shown, based on the calculation of a mixing matrix that brings the joint cumulants of the second and fourth orders to zero. To exclude a trivial solution, additional restrictions are imposed on signal dispersions. A system of equations for finding the mixing matrix coefficients is presented. The form of the coefficients of the mixing matrix is shown, which brings the signals to an uncorrelated form. The possibility of an analytical solution of the equation associated with the equality of the joint fourth-order cumulant to zero is shown. A model of modulation and detection of digital signals is described. The simulation result of the blind signal separation algorithm is presented graphically. The efficiency of the proposed algorithm is shown.

The principle of monitoring the technical state and the structure of a receiving-transmitting module with a closed loop of end-to-end verification of the transmitting and receiving channels by branching the signal from the output of the transmitting channel to the input of the receiving channel in the time interval when the reflected signal is not received are proposed. The advantages, disadvantages and limitations of alternative options for organizing end-to-end test monitoring from the input to the output of transceiver module of an active electronically scanned array due to the use of passive and active elements in the control loop are shown.

The article is devoted to the consideration of the diagnostics of the controlled discrete-nonlinear Anishchenko-Astakhov system by the fractional-power spectra of the signals generated by the system. The conditions for the closeness of the system of fractional power-law functions of time, which reduce the errors in the representation of signals of discrete-nonlinear systems by fractional power series, are determined. The peculiarities of the representation of the signals of the discrete-nonlinear Anishchenko-Astakhov system by pulse sequences with expansion in fractional powers of time are revealed, its adequacy in the analysis of system signals is confirmed. Two-dimensional and three-dimensional fractional-power spectra of the signals of the discrete-nonlinear Anishchenko-Astakhov system have been constructed. The ranges of variation of indicators of fractional powers and normalized pulse durations have been determined. The dependence of the structure of fractional power-law spectra of signals of a controlled discrete-nonlinear Anishchenko-Astakhov system, modified by modulation of time sampling parameters, on the modulation depth of control actions, which reduce the correlation intervals of the generated pseudo-random signals, is revealed.

The object of consideration is design automation and prototyping of complex signals and their generation and processing devices. The subject of the analysis is the substantiation of the structure, composition and implementation method of a modeling system aimed at modeling and prototyping promising devices for the generation and processing of complex signals based on fast transformations in Galois fields. The purpose of the analysis is a reasonable choice of methods and tools for computational, simulation and prototyping that achieve high display accuracy, performance, flexibility and ease of modeling. The solutions are based on the principles and mathematical models developed by the authors: methods and algorithms for fast transformations in Galois fields, an algebraic representation model and the structure of fast delay acquisition devices for a subclass of sequences. The article is devoted to the development of a software and hardware modeling systems that allows the most accurate mapping of fast algebraic transformations in Galois fields to algorithmic models of various levels of representation to ensure high performance, flexibility and ease of modeling, as well as prototyping of promising devices for the generation and processing of complex signals. The results of the work will be useful in the design of promising devices of various information and communication systems, scientific research, as well as in the educational process.

This paper aims at the interconnection between cyber security and artificial intelligence systems. In modern parlance, artificial intelligence systems are machine learning systems, the interpretation sometimes narrowed further to artificial neural networks. While machine learning increasingly penetrates into various spheres of information technology application, its intersection with cyber security is naturally to occur. The problem is that this intersection cannot be described by any single model. Combination of artificial intelligence and cyber security has a wide range of application. The common factor is obviously the use of machine learning techniques, but the objectives as well as the results achieved to date differ a lot. For example, with machine learning used to detect attacks and intrusions, real progress is made if compared to previous approaches; however, attacks on machine learning systems themselves cannot be combated by the system protection. The classification of models for applying machine learning to cyber security is the focus of this paper.

In this paper we discuss the problem of dynamic measurements of digital measuring device for on-board radio electronic equipment. For such a measuring device, when a moving object moves under conditions of influencing noise, the accuracy of measurements decreases. The problem of increasing the accuracy of such dynamic measurements is considered. This article proposes the method for increasing accuracy for on-board radio electronic digital device applied at the moving object with on-board electronic equipment. Theoretical consideration of the accuracy of navigational determinations of the onboard measuring device under noise conditions and taking into account the object's movement dynamics is carried out. The article provides a theoretical analysis and computer simulation of the considered digital measuring device for on-board radio electronic equipment. It has been found that when combining on-board navigation and radio communication facilities are usually used to improve the accuracy of navigation determinations by implementing differential operating modes, it is possible to improve the accuracy of dynamic measurements.

The desire to minimize risks is often accompanied by the use of additional methods at the design stage of complex information systems, which will later be used to automate the company's information processes. Management of organizational systems requires automation of many processes to reduce possible errors. The authority criticality matrix allows you to predict risks before the implementation stage. Using this method allows you to maintain a balance of security and efficiency of a complex system, which in the final stage significantly improves its operation and simplifies the management process.

The article describes the process of developing a research stand for exploration of models and algorithms for group control of ground-based mobile robots at the Department of Intelligent systems in Control and Automation. The classification of centralized and decentralized group control strategies is given. A formal statement of the problem of group control of robots is given. The structure of the robot control system for distributed collective and pack control strategies is presented. The task is to develop a research stand for exploration of models and algorithms for controlling a group of mobile robots. The prospects of using the research stand in the research work of the department are described. The functional and electrical diagram of the ground-based mobile robot is given.

The article presents the current problems related to optimization of MSW (municipal solid waste) transportation and sorting. The relevance of this topic in the modern world is at the highest level, the amount of garbage is growing, and territories are limited, which leads to the issue of waste recycling. One of the modern technologies for automation of waste recycling plants was considered. And also, the economic aspect of processing, with the possibility of excluding a person from the process of monitoring the performance of the technological process.
