Objective-based on the relevant research methods of the Kano model, this paper makes a specific exploration of the principles and design ideas of Chinese medicine’s time-honored brand image according to users’ needs. Methods the relevant data of the user needs of the time-honored brand image of Chinese medicine were obtained through the questionnaire survey method. And then, through the Kano model, the user needs were divided into basic needs (m), charm needs (a), no special difference needs (I), reverse needs (R), and expectation needs (o), to explore the internal needs of users for the visual image of the Chinese medicine brand. Moreover, integrate the sensory experience of users for the brand image. The perception process of interactive experience and emotional experience and the most original needs of users are transformed into reliable data. The needs are calculated through the calculation method of better worse coefficient. Results it is proposed that the brand image of time-honored pharmaceutical brands needs to unify the visual images and create the IP images, to make the brand image of time-honored Chinese pharmaceutical brands have the characteristics of the times and interest. Conclusion according to the needs of users, summarizing the methods and strategies suitable for optimizing the visual image of Chinese medicine time-honored brands is not only the inheritance and tolerance of Chinese traditional medicine culture but also provides reference and reference for the continuous growth of Chinese medicine time-honored brands. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

This paper responds to a gap observed between the contemporary capacity for calculation and analysis of visibility of built environment features, such as buildings, in digital urban and architectural computational research models and the functionality of off-the-shelf software tools available to professionals. The research investigates the potential of visibility analysis to be embedded and extended within computational-based workflows of software tools to better meet urban design and planning industry needs. We introduce a novel method for visibility calculation that exposes output data for further analysis within a computational workflow and implement it in a game development engine used by software tool providers. Based in our engagement with a local government authority, we then use that method to demonstrate a workflow in the context of form-based building codes in which the visual impact of a building is considered rather than prescriptive limits on dimensions and use. Our results indicate the novel method has substantial performance improvements compared to an alternative mode of visibility calculation and that software providers could more thoroughly integrate and extend visibility analysis to meet industry needs. © 2023 and published by the Association for Computer-Aided Architectural Design Research in Asia (CAADRIA), Hong Kong.

The poor quality of real ship data and the lack of navigation status marks make it different from the experimental data recorded with experimental conditions, which is difficult to be effectively used in the study of ship performance. In this paper, a visual analysis system of navigation logic is developed to assist in abnormal data processing. At the same time, the visual analysis is used to divide the real ship data sub units, and the small sample navigation state determination set is obtained. The results of K-means clustering are compared with the determined set, and the navigation state class is obtained by semantic classification. Factor analysis is used to analyze the characteristics of navigation state data, so as to reduce the dimension of data and make the classification result better. Taking the inland navigation mark maintenance work boat data as an example, this method is realized to label the ship navigation status for the unknown large sample data set. © 2022 by the International Society of Offshore and Polar Engineers (ISOPE).

In this paper, we present a visual analytics solution to analyze and visualize infectious disease data (e.g., COVID-19 data). During the peak of COVID-19 pandemic we observed large jumps in infections, we delve into the link between the COVID-19 related infection rates and population density. We visually discover knowledge like relationships between population density and infection rates in health regions, as well as connections between infection rates and socio-economic characteristics. Evaluation on real-life Canadian COVID-19 data show the practicality of our visual analytics solution-which employs visualization, data mining techniques and statistical analysis-in providing valuable insights into the dynamics of pandemics.

With the development of the Internet, Big data analysis of social media has become a hot research topic in recent years. However, a challenging problem in social media analysis is how to intelligently detect event information from massive media data and how to help users quickly understand event content. Therefore, we propose a method to extract important time periods of events from media data to analyze the media event information, and develop an interactive visual system based on the "5W" principle. The system provides an interactive analysis platform for exploring media Big data (e.g., Twitter data). The system uses a dynamic topic model to extract topics, a Naive Bayesian classifier to distinguish emotions, and explores events based on the evolution of time, topics, and emotions. In terms of visualization, the system allows users to add some annotations based on segmentation of complex information and highlight important events by adding different story cards to the timeline so that users can get a quick overview of events. Users can also interactively modify the story cards during the exploration process. Finally, several case studies show that our system can effectively reduce the time required to understand social media data and allow users to quickly explore the full picture of an event through an interactive approach.

One of the most popular eSports (electronic sports) game types practiced is the Multiplayer Online Battle Arena (MOBA) genre, represented by one of the most popular competitive games, League of Legends (LoL). As in many traditional sports, to improve player and team performance, players and coaches analyze all the game events, such as, the positions and trajectories of the players, representing their movements, events and actions they performed during the game (spatial and temporal data). This paper presents visualeague, a visualization tool for analysis of LoL matches for single player, teams, professional matches, and multiple games. The tool offers interaction with the visualizations, filtering and aggregation of data, and clustering to solve the common problems presented in analysis with voluminous amount of data, like cluttering and overlapping. We evaluated visualeague through a user study covering the various types of analysis with two professional coaches. Results indicate that the tool was overall intuitive, useful, efficient and innovative and coaches show a particular interest in the analysis of professional training matches and multiple games as those provide visualizations that often lack in common tools, specially, regarding spatio-temporal data.

With the diversification of machine learning applications, the quality verification and comparison of training data has been an important process. For example, while performing transfer learning, verification the difference in the quality between the source and the target data can prevent the accuracy of the model from deteriorating. However, training datasets for deep learning is getting larger and larger, and analysis of such datasets is not always easy. As a solution to this problem, we are working on the visualization for training data validation. In this study, we apply dimensionality reduction to the training datasets and display them as scatterplots to realize a visual analysis that can easily detect differences in the quality. Our current implementation draws the regions where the points are concentrated as semitransparent polygons for each label in the scatterplot. Also, the implementation provides a slider to set a threshold for the interactive adjustment of polygon generation. This allows us to observe the differences in the distribution of labels among the training data.

The research area is located in the Yenisai Hatanga Basin of Russia, which is a transitional facies sedimentary rock between sea and land. Oil and gas are mostly concentrated in turbidite sand bodies of the low level domain submarine fans of Lower hutt formation in the Lower Cretaceous, and locally developed in the slope fan sand bodies of the high postion domain. which is good oil and gas reservoir, however,due to limitations of geological research conditions and data, the sedimentary characteristics and planar distribution of the submarine fan sand bodies are not clear in research area. This article conducts research on the identification and plane distribution prediction of submarine fan bodies using seismic sedimentology methods, By combining sequence stratigraphy, seismic profile, and RGB fusion technology, the sand bodies of submarine fans are analyzed. Through the correlation analysis of seismic profiles and seismic facies, corresponding relationship between sedimentary microfacies and typical seismic wave patterns is established. The study shows that the study area mainly develops continental shelf slope facies, submarine fans, and shallow to semi deep marine facies. Sediments formed a turbidite submarine fan composed of sandstone siltstone mudstone in the ancient trough. There are 5 sand groups developed in the Hutt Formation under the main target layer in the study area. Among them, the iv oil group is the main oil-bearing *** 0, Ⅰ, and Ⅱ sand groups have limited distribution and poor sand body connectivity. The Ⅲ sand group is mainly developed in the study area. In the north, it is distributed in the middle of the study area on the plane. The iv sand group is widely developed and distributed in the middle of the study area on the plane. Seismic sedimentology can provide technical support for prediction research of reservoirs. © 2024 Institute of Physics Publishing. All rights reserved.
