Currently, datavisualization is widely used in industries such as smart city display, rail transit monitoring and network traffic analysis, public opinion analysis. The data sources are relatively stable and the data formats are relatively regular. However, in some scenarios, the data is relatively scattered and of low quality, and there is limited introduction to the entire process of collecting, circulating, and aggregating this data into visual applications. Based on this, a comprehensive implementation method for metadata collection, raw data aggregation, and datavisualization was explored and practiced, and a clear and scalable solution was proposed, from the backend to the frontend, the ideas and methods of data collection and aggregation, as well as the methods of building websites using the Django framework and implementing typical visualization applications using Echarts tools, were introduced.

Long-extended-reach drilling (ERD) wells have become necessary to reach untapped resources. The successful implementation of an integrated multidisciplinary approach to plan and execute multiple ERD wells is discussed in addition to how the culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence between all parties resulted in top quartile performance and proved proper planning can push the boundaries and provide confidence to safely drill even deeper. An integrated plan was constructed using holistic offset well dataanalysis to identify improvement opportunities. The on-bottom rate of penetration (ROP) is rarely the key to performance in ERD wells;it's about safely and consistently drilling a quality hole. A detailed geomechanical study was undertaken to better understand the stress regime and rock mechanics. Optimal mud weight recommendations were provided to achieve a better wellbore quality and improve ROP. Advanced rotary steerable system (RSS) drilling with real-time analytics monitoring were used to track performance and equivalent circulating density (ECD) changes as well as other drilling parameters. The subject well was the longest of any well drilled in the operating block by far. Success involved implementation of technically modeled engineered solutions and customized operational procedures, including but not limited to optimized connections and backreaming practices to ensure removal of fine residual drilled cuttings. Dynamic and enhanced ROP road maps were used to ensure maximum cutting loads were below 3% at all the times across the wellbore. Optimized fluid rheology helped improve hole cleaning with minimum tendency of barite sagging. The integrated approach was successfully trial tested on a shorter ERD well to validate the concept. Later, the project team drilled the longest ERD well to 19, 800 ft with an ERD ratio of 3.2, and maintained, good hole quality, proven by a smooth BHA trip out of hole at well TD with no tight spots. Advances in imaging technology and fluorescent calcium indicators have increased the popularity of the application of miniature microscopes (miniscope) in freely-moving rodents when they are performing sophisticated behaviors. The recently established analysis tools, such as Minian, allow for the efficient extraction of neuronal calcium transients from raw videos. However, there is still a gap in front of neuroscientists to draw any conclusions based on the neuronal calcium signals detected during behavioral tests. The poor signal-to-noise ratio and unreliable neuron registration in miniscope images bring significant challenges to the dataanalysis tasks. This paper describes a visual analytics approach to the exploration of potential neuronal clustering based on the calcium signals and the behavioral tasks. This new interactive solution can be applied for the analysis and exploration of the correlations between calcium imaging data and addiction behavioral data using a combination of visualization, user interaction, visual clustering, and event-related feature selection techniques. The associated interactive software tool is designed to help neuroscientists develop neurobiological hypotheses underlying both physiological and pathological behaviors, which could be a milestone in the field of neuroscience to understanding behavioral coding in the brain at the neuronal level.

The EvRACE is becoming an important system for enhancing battery performance management, detecting and mitigating charging anomalies, and informing strategic decision-making for stakeholders in the Ev ecosystem. EvRACE utilizes deep time-series clustering to categorize charging curves with distinct characteristics and retrieves the most relevant cluster and the top k curves for comprehensive dataanalysis and risk assessment. We introduce the design and implementation of Time-Elide, a visualanalysis tool for the novel data abstraction of non-contiguous time series slices, namely time intervals that contain a sequence of time-value pairs but are not adjacent to each other. This abstraction is relevant for analysis tasks where time periods of interest are known in advance or inferred from the data, rather than discovered through open-ended visualexploration. We present a visual encoding design space as an underpinning of TimeElide, and the new sparkbox technique for visualizing fine and coarse grained temporal structures within one view. datasets from different domains and with varying characteristics guided the development and their analysis provides preliminary evidence of TimeElide's utility.
