The electrical activity of the heart is measured by an electrocardiogram (ECG), and any variation from the typical rhythm indicates a potentially harmful change in the pathophysiological state of the organ. The cardiologists have a good understanding of the format and structure of a normal, healthy electrocardiogram (ECG). They examine the clinical abnormality that is present in the ECG by visually inspecting the morphology of the signal using their years of experience. This is done with the electrocardiogram. It is vital to select an appropriate representation for the signal itself before we can move forward with developing a system that is capable of performing automatic ECG analysis. The raw time series can be used as a sufficient description of the data that has to be analyzed, and this is the way that is the simplest to utilize. Despite the fact that this method is enticing owing to the inherent simplicity it possesses and the ease with which it can be implemented, it is plagued by a number of significant shortcomings. This study work presents a classification methodology for screening patients with antero septal myocardial infarction that is constructed utilizing the closest neighbour (NN) method (ASMI). The amplitude of the QRS and the height of the T wave, both of which are diagnostically relevant parameters, are retrieved here from leads v1-v4. For the purpose of merging the effects of the four leads, a score value approach is utilized. The NN classifier uses both the Euclidian and the Mahalanobis distance metrics in its calculations. It was discovered that the latter provides a better level of performance. © 2023 IEEE.

Recently, incorporating structure information (e.g. dependency syntactic tree) can enhance the performance of aspect-based sentiment analysis (ABSA). However, this structure info rmation is obtained from off-the-shelf parsers, which is often sub-optimal and cumbersome. Thus, automatically learning adaptive structures is conducive to solving this problem. In this work, we concentrate on structure induction from pre-trained language models (PLMs) and throw the structure induction into a spectrum perspective to explore the impact of scale information in language representation on structure induction ability. Concretely, the main architecture of our model is composed of commonly used PLMs (e.g., RoBERTa, etc.), and a simple yet effective graph structure learning (GSL) module (graph learner + GNNs). Subsequently, we plug in Frequency Filters with different bands after the PLMs to produce filtered language representations and feed them into the GSL module to induce latent structures. We conduct extensive experiments on three public benchmarks for ABSA. The results and further analyses demonstrate that introducing this spectral approach can shorten Aspects-sentiment Distance (AsD) and be beneficial to structure induction. Even based on such a simple framework, the effects on three datasets can reach SOTA (state-of-the-art) or near SOTA performance. Additionally, our exploration also has the potential to be generalized to other tasks or to bring inspiration to other similar domains. (1)

There has been an increase in the adoption of Linked data and subsequently representing data in the form of knowledge graphs across a wide spectrum of domains. There has also been significant interest in the remote sensing community to publish Earth Observation data in the form of Linked data. As the geospatial Linked data cloud on the internet grows, there arises a need for efficient methods of exploratory analysis of such information-rich geospatial knowledge graphs. Knowledge graph representation of remote sensing scenes has proved to add significant value for effective mining of implicit information in addition to seamless integration with other data sources. This work is geared towards visual exploration of semantically enriched Remote Sensing Scene Knowledge Graphs (RSS-KGs). In this paper, we propose and implement an interactive web-based interface to visually explore and interact with RSS-KGs using Cesium. The proposed interface seeks to visualize the knowledge graph in the form of nodes and edges, mapped over the remote sensing scene consisting of different land use land cover regions and their inferred characteristics in addition to their spatial relationships with one another. It is envisaged that visualization in the form of nodes and edges would aid in visually validating the spatial relations in the knowledge graph, thus enhancing the understanding of the geospatial knowledge graph from the end user perspective. We demonstrate the efficacy of the interface through the visual exploration of an enriched geospatial knowledge graph of a remote sensing scene captured during an urban flood event.

The rapid advancement of technology has revolutionized the way organizations operate, resulting in the widespread adoption of Management Information Systems (MIS) as a crucial tool in decision-making processes. This research paper presents a comprehensive review of the effectiveness of Management Information Systems in facilitating decision-making within various organizational contexts. With the rapid development of computer science and technology, cloud computing and Internet of Things technology have been widely used in the research of geological information technology. As the current big data era has more extensive data requirements, and the Internet of Things and cloud computing technologies are widely used in daily life and work. Especially in the fields of geological information surveying and mapping, management, query, storage, analysis, etc., applications are gradually increasing. This article mentions that the geoinformatization research algorithm based on the Internet of Things and cloud computing in the era of big data has improved the accuracy of geological information by 5% and 7.5%, respectively. The results show that the Internet of Things and cloud computing models play an important role in geological informatization. © 2022 IEEE.

The United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (UNSDG) 2 - calls for creating a world with zero hunger by 2030. However, locust swarms threaten over 10% of the global food supply. Locusts normally live in a harmless solitarious state. However, on overcrowding multiple morphological transformations of the solitarious locusts turn them into a gregarious swarm forming state. Due to climate change locust swarms are predicted to become more frequent, intense and long-lasting. The current detection, monitoring and control systems for locusts is lacking. The developed Project Mynah ensures reliable regular locust hotspot monitoring, early gregarization detection and an effective eco-friendly control which induces the solitarization of the locusts, preventing swarm formation. The solution consists of an AI system including a Yolov8 nano object detection model and a Mobile Net v2 CNN which accurately detects and differentiates between solitarious locusts and gregarious locusts based on morphology. To facilitate reliable and regular monitoring of remote areas, the system includes a synergistic autonomous swarm of drones governed by bioinspired decentralized algorithms like vulture frontier radial exploration and A*. The overall system has been engineered to optimize resource usage and ensure global scalability.

Exploring large datasets and identifying meaningful information is still an active topic in many application fields. Dealing with large datasets is currently not only a matter of simply collecting and structuring data for retrieval, but sometimes it also requires the provision of adequate means for guiding the user through the exploration process. visualizations have shown to be an effective method in this context, the reason being that since they are grounded on visual cognition, people understand them and can naturally perform visual operations such as clustering, filtering and comparing quantities. However, systems which help us to create visualizations often require specific knowledge in data analysis, which ordinary users typically do not possess. To address this gap, we propose a system that guides the user in the data analysis process. To achieve this, the system observes current user behavior, tries to infer the task of the user and recommends the next analysis steps to help her to carry out the task.

During a computer security investigation, a security analyst has to explore the logs available to understand what happened in the compromised system. For such tasks, visual analysis tools have been developed to help with log exploration. They provide visualisations of aggregated logs, and help navigate data efficiently. However, even using visualisation tools, the task can still be difficult and tiresome. The amount and the numerous dimensions of the logs to analyse, the potential stealthiness and complexity of the attack may end with the analyst missing some parts of an attack. We offer to help the analyst finding the logs where her expertise is needed rapidly and efficiently. We design a recommender system called KRAKEN that links knowledge coming from advanced attack descriptions into a visual analysis tool to suggest exploration paths. KRAKEN confronts real world adversary knowledge with the investigated logs to dynamically provide relevant parts of the dataset to explore. To evaluate KRAKEN we conducted a user study with seven security analysts. Using our system, they investigated a dataset from the DARPA containing different Advanced Persistent Threat attacks. The results and comments of the security analysts show the usability and usefulness of the recommender system. © 2022, Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

Cloud computing is extremely popular model among enterprises. It provides more availability of cloud resources when needed with high scalability and extremely cost-effective model. Security is one of the least understood concepts to provide and access for OWASP applications in cloud computing. Many enterprises especially banking clients are risk-averse and have less cloud adoption rate. In this study, security research in the area of cloud security is reviewed and AWS (Amazon Web Service) is the top provider of cloud computing. Since, we have also demonstrated how it works in the security exploration.
