The Philippine Conditional Cash Transfer (CCT) of the Philippines has started since 2007. This Philippine government program and human development measure provides conditional cash grants to the poorest of the poor, to improve the health, nutrition, and the education of children aged 0-18. This study provides a framework of state-of-the-art visualization tool in presenting data that provides significant reports that will aid government decision making that involves poor Filipino families. With the vast rising of technology and never-ending growth of government data in the Philippines, it is a big possibility that the data generated by the tool can give solutions and amendments to future management policies and improves administration tasks. This research shows a framework for the development of a web application of a decision support system to support the National Advisory Committee (NAC) and NAC Technical Working Group (NAC-TWG) of the Department of Social Welfare and Development of the Philippines. The data analyses reports produced on this interactive data visualization tool can be used as a basis for program and action recommendation of government offices. The framework includes descriptive and diagnostic analysis after data cleansing and simulation. It also features forecasting and prediction functionalities. © 2018 IEEE.

The grouping of data by clustering generally depends on the clustering method used and its specific parameter settings. Therefore, the comparison of results obtained from different clusterings is generally recommended (ensemble clustering). The present study presents a simple and an optimized method for visualizing such results by drawing a two-dimensional color map that associates data with cluster memberships. The methodology is applicable to any unsupervised and supervised classification results.

Manufactured parts always have deviations from their nominal geometry designed in the CAD-system. These deviations are restricted in range by the tolerances the product designer has defined. The synthesis of appropriate tolerances is typically supported by tolerance simulations which return statistic results like distribution curves at defined measurement points, but the related geometry cannot be visualized within the tolerance simulation. Preparation and statistic analysis of toleranced CAD geometry is currently done by experts, not by the product designer himself. We present an approach that allows geometric interpretation of tolerances and their interactions. The method is divided into three steps: Multiple non-ideal parts are generated by a simulation. Afterwards they are combined into a single dataset by finding an appropriate transformation which is collision-free with respect to the surrounding assembly and does not violate the defined position tolerances. The resulting volume dataset that represents all non-ideal parts can finally be visualized using techniques known from medical data analysis. The proposed method assists the product developer in tolerance synthesis by providing three-dimensional views of the impact of the defined tolerances, instead of presenting the output of statistic analysis. These views help to define meaningful, coordinated tolerances for new design solutions or to reconsider existing tolerance concepts. Another application of our method is the analysis of huge amounts of measured surface data in quality assurance.

Current standards for interoperability and composability focus on mandating a common information exchange data model. The Levels of Conceptual Interoperability Model (LCIM) shows that this is not sufficient. A second challenge is that the mapping between system-internal representations to the information exchange data model is left to system developers leading to misinterpretations and ambiguous information exchange. Model-based data Engineering (MBDE) replaces this with an engineering process. Both ideas together motivate the hypothesis that selforganizing information exchange is possible if the system interfaces and behaviors are captured in machineunderstandable meta-information.

Currently there are two approaches to large volume data retrieval for underwater holography: optical methods using high resolution emulsions and digital holography. Underwater digital holography has enabled high resolution real-time data to be obtained with depths-of-field otherwise unobtainable by conventional non-holographic optical techniques. However, conventional emulsion methods provide large volume retrieval at a superior resolution. This paper will discuss a twin camera automated image retrieval system for in-line emulsion holographic reconstruction and future alternative real-time reconstruction methods using digital holography. In both techniques image acquisition and data retrieval from reconstructed holograms presents a number of challenges that hinder the ability to readily extract information. The application of holography to store high resolution three-dimensional data for large volumes is well understood, however here also belies a problem for data retrieval and large information storage, the data extraction is time-consuming and requires manual intervention. The automated holographic reconstruction system has been developed to aid the analysis, databasing and identification of objects captured by in-line holography. Whereas, the digital off-axis system presents an alternative real-time visualisation approach for underwater analysis. Digital off-axis real-time reconstruction will be presented using numerical pre-processing of captured holograms for data extraction and visualization using a spatial light modulator (SLM). This method has the advantage of recording surface information and optimizing the recording quality of holograms in-situ without the necessity of numerical post-processing. Preliminary experimental research has demonstrated optical and numerical reconstructions at interactive frame rates. According to the running condition of local power network at present, system of setting calculation and simulation of relaying protection is developed for power system based on graphic modeling. It makes use of graphical software to complete data and process management, fault analysis of power network, setting and simulation of fixed value. By building all kinds of calculation models of running method, setting calculation can be achieved in both automatic and semi-automatic calculation. Through the control of calculation process and the experience of setting engineer, it optimizes the setting value of relaying protection equipments in different ranks of power network by virtue of setting procedure, achieving the optimal setting scheme in different structures of power network and running modes. Setting the running mode in main wiring diagram, random fault, fault point and simulation time, software is designed to simulate the fault calculation and logical decision automatically, making sure the action of relaying protection and tripping out the corresponding circuit breaker. As the base of whole system analysis, graphic system is developed in Visual C++ and Microsoft Access with adoption of the object-oriented ideas. Having such excellent features as visualization and modularization, the whole system is easy to expand and maintain.

In medical imaging, many applications require visualization and analysis of three-dimensional (3D) objects. visualization is the process of exploring, transforming, and view data as images to gain understanding and insight into the data, which requires fast interactive speed and high image quality. In this paper, we describe the key techniques in medical image visualization. In order to improve ray casting rendering speed, a synthetically accelerated algorithm is proposed. Firstly, rendering algorithms are fully studied and compared. Secondly, proximity clouds algorithm has been selected and extended to continuous ray casting. Finally, the accelerated algorithm based on ray coherence has been realized. The experimental results on 3D medical image reconstruction are given, which show the medical image visualization technology has provided a powerful technology base for computer-aided diagnosis, virtual surgery and e-learning in medicine field. © Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg 2007.

Knowledge visualization is a creative process, but difficult to formalize. This paper presents a system that is capable of analyzing voluminous citation data and visualizing the result. The system offers visualizations of trends by clustering scientific papers taken from the web (CiteSeer papers). Two methods are implemented: factor analysis and PFNET. An experiment has been carried out with the literature in knowledge management. A deep analysis of current trends in KM is then performed to check the relevance of these results. While the topical content is specific to knowledge engineering, semantic web, and related sub-areas, the approach could be applied to any general topic area in AI.

Considerable attention has been given lately to the need for global systems for animal disease surveillance that support real-time assessment of changing temporal-spatial risks. Until recently, however, prospects for development of such systems have been limited by the lack of informatics tools and an overarching collaboration framework to enable real-time data capturing, sharing, analysis, and related decision-making. In this paper, we present some of the tools of the FMD BioPortal System (***/bioportal), which is a web-based system that facilitates near real-time information sharing, visualization, and advanced space-time cluster analysis for foot-and-mouth disease (FMD). Using this system, FMD information that is collected and maintained at various data acquisition and management sites around the world can be submitted to a data repository using various mutually agreed upon Extensible Markup Language (XML) formats, including Health Level Seven (HL7). FMD BioPortal makes available a set of advanced space-time cluster analysis techniques, including scan statistic-based methods and machine learning-based clustering methods. These techniques are aimed at identifying local clusters of disease cases in relation to the background risk. data and analysis results can be displayed using a novel visualization environment, which supports multiple views including GIS, timeline, and periodical patterns. All FMD BioPortal functionalities are accessible through the Web and data confidentiality can be secured through user access control and computer network security techniques such as Secure Sockets Layer (SSL). FMD BioPortal is currently operational with limited data routinely collected by the Office International des Epizooties, the GenBank, the FMD World Reference Laboratory in Pirbright, and by the FMD Laboratory at the University of California in Davis.
