The advancement of information and communication technology has accelerated developments in the field of credit management. This is reciprocated by the introduction of data analytics to process relevant information that could be useful specifically in financial granting decisions. With this, the researcher presents a research-in-progress of designing a risk analysis and recommendation system for the Department of Science and Technology VII Small & Medium Enterprise Technology Upgrading Program (DOST VII-SETUP). Its main feature is focused on credit risk analysis. To develop the application, selected variables to be used for credit scoring is identified based on the DOST Administrative Order No. 002 on Revised Small Enterprises Technology (SET-UP) Guidelines and 9-year historical data on granted loan projects from 2008-2016. With the use of tableau software, a data mining process was executed utilizing linear regression and trend model visualization for analysis. As the data on selected variables are validated, a proposed decision matrix on credit scoring has been developed. This leads to the recommendation on the development of the credit risk analysis and recommendation system by computing the center of gravity of each score through the fuzzy logic algorithm.

This study examines the performance of stocks investment portfolio by using accounting information. The sample is selected from Taiwan Economic Journal to test F-SCORE cooperating with Dividend-to price ratio, Earnings-to -price Ratio and Book-to -Market respectively. The sample period is from May, 2008 to May, 2018. The findings of this study are as follows. First, if we choose Dividend-to-price ratio, Earnings-to -price Ratio or Book-to-Market to distinguish from the value and growth portfolio, the value portfolio is significantly better than the growth one. Second, if we choose F-SCORE to distinguish from high and low score, the high score portfolio is significantly better than the low score one. The result showed that when the investor use Dividend-to price ratio, Earnings-to-price Ratio or Book-to-Market together with fundamental financial information, they could become more profitable or more effectively improve the performance.

In this paper, we explored the research status, hotspots, development contexts and trends of data Science study in the field of editing and publishing in China. In our study, we selected 441 data Science articles which published in 15 journals of editing and publishing science from 2008 to 2018 in CNKI database. By using Citespace, a bibliometric and visualization software, we analyzed the characteristics of publications, authors and research institutions in this field, plot the knowledge graph of data science study in the field of editing and publishing. According to the analysis, we found data Science study in the field of editing and publishing has a clear development path in China, and most of the research findings would be divided into three aspects: a) research on data storage and mining; b) research on the application of Big data in publishing Industry; c) research on collaborative development of data science technology and digital publishing. Although the data Science method has been applied to solve scientific research problems and guide social production in the field of editing and publishing, the core researcher group is still weak and the study is in the stage of developing. It's going to be the focus of future research that the application of new data science method, such as Artificial Intelligence, to new production and profit model in publishing industry.

This study presents a data science methodology to integrate and explore disparate student data from an engineering-mathematics course. Our methodology is based on exploratory data mining and visualization for analyzing and visualizing raw student data from multiple data sources. The exploratory analysis serves two purposes, 1) it supports the instructor's desire to gain insights into the implementation of a flipped classroom and 2) it serves as a case study for a proposed data science pipeline for educational data. As part of the flipped class, the instructor had students completed assignments in an online homework system before each class meeting and work readiness assessment tests (RATs) at the beginning of each class. The RAT scores were recorded in excel and combined with student performance data that was exported from the online homework system. Paper exams were administered at the end of each unit, and combined with RAT scores, lesson assignment scores, and demographic data. A combination of data mining and classical statistical techniques were used to reveal the trends and peculiarities in the data, without having a specific question or topic to investigate. The data science pipeline which we present has four major stages: data preprocessing, exploratory factor analysis, visualization, and feature engineering. Our study revealed some trends and clusters within and across course units. analysis results show the differences and similarities within the course units and help track learner behavior. A few differences related to gender were found, but prior experience in a course taught using the flipped classroom model did not show a significant difference. Exploratory factor analysis identified two factors from the whole data: class activities and exams (factor 1) and homeworks and lesson assignments (factor 2). According to Indonesian Law no. 14 of 2008 concerning public information disclosure states that every state organizer and public institution is encouraged to conduct public information disclosure. To carry out the transparency, the Tegal City Government has launched a service information system website at http://*** as an online media in order to obtain and to provide Tegal City's public information services for the public. The interview result with the website service manager stated that the website has never been assessed against user satisfaction. In fact, the public information system is the image of the local government towards the seriousness of providing facilities for the public to be accessed easily. This study used WebQual 4.0 and Importance Performance analysis (IPA) methods with 4 (four) instruments, there are usability quality, information quality, quality of service interaction, and visual quality with a total of 24 indicators presented in questionnaires. This type of research is descriptive with a quantitative approach and data is processed using SPSS software. The results of this study state that Tegal City public service information system website is good in general, but there are top priority improvements to be made immediately such as the attributes of providing accurate information and the ease for people to understand the information. The results of this research are expected to contribute positively to the development of Tegal city public service information system website in order to be better and qualified, and also improving competitiveness in realizing good governance.
