Monitoring of computer network events is essential in uncertain and time varying situations. Several techniques and tools have been developed to reveal useful patterns from raw network data sets. Challenges for network monitoring include processing massive data, spotting unknown patterns, and interactive analysis for deeper reasoning. Generally, computers in intranets are categorized into crucial nodes or not depending on their roles. We address the issue of network events monitoring by focusing on crucial network nodes, and we present visualization approaches for crucial nodes monitoring and analysis. Contributions of this paper include an efficient categorization and exchange mechanism for multiple streaming data, a comprehensive interactive visualization system with coordinated views, and an intuitive radial visualization which fuses firewall data and IDS data inherently for crucial node monitoring. In our study using the IEEE VAST Challenge 2011dataset, we found two kinds of anomalies.

The process of clustering aims to discover natural groupings, and thus present an overview of the classes (topics) in a collection of documents. In the field of artificial intelligence, this is known as unsupervised machine learning. Extraction of internal structure from document collections in the absence of pre-classified training data, is a challenging task in text-mining due to the high dimensionality of the input data (usually in the form of word-frequency vectors derived from the bag-of-words (BOW) model of document representation). Self Organizing Maps (SOM) represents high-dimensional data in the form of topology preserving two-dimensional projections which can be exploited for creating a natural visualization of data and at the same time to accomplish the task of dimensionality reduction. The feature of emergence which is the generation of complex systems and patterns by the cooperation of multiple elementary interactions provides a way of detecting higher level structures or cluster of clusters within a document corpus. The natural visualization of clusters is investigated in this study (rather than classification/categorization) using Emergent Self-Organized Maps by effectively introducing bigrams. Experiments have been conducted using a limited vocabulary of 925 documents containing 2000 unigrams and 1000 bigrams approximately to analyze the visualization of emergent higher level structures, document relatedness at lower level and at the same time show the presence of micro-clusters.

According to the development of software, information sharing is possible between architectural design areas and other areas. Theoretically, information sharing has the advantage of should being able to quickly find to objective analysis of alternatives and an alternative that meets the constraint for designers. Although currently the design software that was made on collaboration is available energy analysis through data compatible, there are limits in terms of time and staff efficiency in design process. Thus, we will try to implement the process to allow generative design, visualization of analysis and optimization of alternative targeting factory manufacturing building that BIM-based design has been carried out to date. First, extracted information of the window as parameters among the building modeling information generate alternatives. After analysis of temperature for each alternative, modeling maps the color through the analyzed data. During spring and summer of 2011, CMS deployed Xrootd-based access for all US T1 and T2 sites. This allows for remote access to all experiment data on disk in the US. It is used for user analysis, visualization, running of jobs at computing sites when data is not available at local sites, and as a fail-over mechanism for data access in jobs. Monitoring of this Xrootd infrastructure is implemented on three levels. Basic service and data availability checks are performed by Nagios probes. The second level uses Xrootd's "summary data" stream;this data is aggregated from all sites and fed into a MonALISA service providing visualization and storage. The third level uses Xrootd's "detailed monitoring" stream, which includes detailed information about users, opened files and individual data transfers. A custom application was developed to process this information. It currently provides a real-time view of the system usage and can store data into ROOT files for detailed analysis. Detailed monitoring allows us to determine dataset popularity and to detect abuses of the system, including sub-optimal usage of the Xrootd protocol and the ROOT prefetching mechanism.

High Perceived Quality cannot be added to the product at the end of the developing process. Project prerequisites, system solution, factory capability etc. are criterion to succeed Therefore, it is important to be able to evaluate Perceived Quality early in the process when product system solutions and architecture are defined, although data maturity is low. This paper presents a comprehensive framework to manage and support evaluation of Perceived Quality aspects in a product development process. The framework is based on an industrial process in combination with recent research within the field The framework focuses on activities that can be performed at different stages in the developing process based on maturity of the CAD or styling data. For example, if the styling data is divided into different components by split-lines it has reached higher level of maturity then styling data that not has been divided Consequently, the choice of applied method is based on data maturity, regardless phase in the developing process. The framework contains methods based on several different simulation and analysis techniques. Microblogs are very popular large-scale communication social networks nowadays in China. In order to study the characteristics of Sina Microblogs, we collect a large amount of users' data based on the Sina Microblogs and place them in the database. Using these data, we visualize the Microblogs network model and create a complex network model. We study Sina Microblogs' network properties through the data of the complex network model, such as nodes, links, degrees clustering coefficient and average distance. Then we analyse the similarity and difference between Sina and Twitter. The visualization of complex network helps users easily identify the central node and the edge area, so that information would be spread more effective and quickly in the shortest possible time through the specified node. So we discuss this method to deal with emergences especially natural disasters.
