With the rapid evolution of digital technologies, the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in power systems has become increasingly critical to addressing the growing complexity and dynamic demands of modern energy markets. Traditional power marketing models are no longer sufficient to meet the need for real-time interaction, intelligent service delivery, and seamless collaboration among stakeholders. This study aims to develop an AI-powered, interactive power supply system to transform marketing processes and enhance service capabilities. Leveraging a co-innovation strategy-"AI + power marketing"-the proposed system integrates multimodal interaction, real-time voice communication, and intelligent solution generation, enabling dynamic engagement between users and service providers. The research employs advanced AI algorithms to optimize interaction design, improve solution accuracy, and streamline digital marketing workflows. Results from simulations and real-world applications demonstrate significant improvements in user-centric service quality, operational efficiency, and the digitalization of power marketing. These findings highlight the effectiveness of AI-based approaches in fostering intelligent transformation within the energy sector, offering a scalable framework for future advancements in power system marketing and services. © 2025 SPIE.

Industry 5.0 emphasizes human-centric approaches in technological advancement, particularly crucial in healthcare applications such as prosthetics development. While individual technologies like additive manufacturing, machine learning, digital twins, and tissue engineering have shown promise in prosthetics innovation, their integration remains a significant challenge. This paper presents a novel multidisciplinary framework developed through the National Centre for High-Performance Computing (CN-HPC) project, which addresses the gap between individual technological capabilities and their coordinated application in personalized prosthetics development. The framework, implemented through collaboration between six research groups from two universities, employs the House of Quality methodology to align technological integration with patient needs. Our approach encompasses a comprehensive seven-step process, from initial patient requirements definition through virtual modeling, production process optimization, virtual sensing, machine learning enhancement, digital twin simulation, to advanced tissue engineering. A data model facilitates seamless information exchange between different technological domains and research groups. This research contributes to the field by providing a scalable, human-centered framework for technology integration in medical device development, potentially extending beyond prosthetics to other healthcare applications. The proposed framework represents a significant step toward realizing the full potential of Industry 5.0 in healthcare manufacturing through the systematic integration of advanced technologies for delivering personalized prosthetic solutions. © 2024 The Authors. With the increasing adoption of the digital Twin concept in the construction industry in the operations and maintenance phase, researchers and practitioners are increasingly seeking suitable technological solutions for the design and construction phases. While it is widely accepted that the required platforms hosting the digital twin must be cloud-based to fulfill the requirements of ubiquitous accessibility and centralized consistency, questions regarding the need for data schema remain. Some academics argue that a structure-free organization of data is suitable for realizing digital twins and the data streams from and to the respective platform. Hands-on experience in the BIM2TWIN project supports a counter argument, i.e., that structure-free data is insufficient for most use cases around AEC digital Twins. The sheer information complexity of construction projects requires well-defined data structures enabling unambiguous and error-less interpretation. This becomes apparent when reflecting on the well-established concept of the data-information-knowledge pyramid describing that raw data must be processed into understandable and meaningful high-level information for human decision makers, subsequently providing the basis for cross-project domain knowledge. Based on this observation, we highlight that object-oriented modeling is a widely recognized information modeling technique that facilitates the structuring of complex domain information. We compare it with ontology-based model concepts that provide a similar, yet more abstract means for information modeling. © 2024, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

As people spend a lot of their time indoors and with the growth of IoT devices, there is evidence of increased use of smart devices to improve the indoor experience. A location-specific IoT hack is where the IoT hack is applied in an ad hoc fashion to a precise place or location. But the transportability of successful hacks from the original property to another site is not always straightforward, particularly when some equipment has been partially configured with device names and network addresses that differ from the original property configuration. A large portion of the challenge also relates to the variation in room names, quantities and transitions between rooms that make up a dwelling. This paper examines the use of Building Information Model (BIM) file frameworks and demonstrates that these files can be augmented to include preconfigured component identification and pathways at the BIM design phase. The outcome is a more portable and automated way to digitize the floor plan space by exploring the intersection between BIM, IoT, spatial and temporal aspects in the context of smart building design. © 2024 Owner/Author.

Protective Lead aprons as a radiation protection instrument for imaging procedures are widely spread by medical professionals. This paper investigated the lead apron's impact on practitioners' bodies and assessed the results. digital human modeling (DHM) was utilized to assess the risk of musculoskeletal disorder (MSD) associated with various varieties of aprons, gender, weight, and practitioner height. The objective of this paper was to mitigate the side effects of wearing a lead apron. Jack software was used to simulate two scenarios: one in which a manikin wore an apron and another in which he did not. Two performance measures, Rapid upper limb assessment (RULA) and Lower Back Analysis (LBA), were utilized. Following the identification of factors and responses, the design of Experiment (DOE) was implemented to determine the significant factors. Several solutions were then evaluated and compared. In the end, the optimal solution was using Zero Gravity aprons as it has the lowest RULA and LBA scores. © 2023 Computers and Industrial engineering. All rights reserved.

The entry of a new generation known as Generation Z or Gen-Z into the labor force created substantial implications for corporate operations, communication, and problem resolution within organizations. These Gen-Zs were raised in a digital age where social media, smartphones, live streaming, and the internet were all quite commonplace. Through working with their teams, their unique skills, values, and perspectives emerge. This study evaluated the significant variables influencing the work behaviors of Filipino Gen-Z employees in the Philippines. A total of 400 responses from currently employed Filipino Gen-Zs in the manufacturing and service industry sectors were collected using the purposive sampling technique. Data were analyzed using the partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) with higher-order construct analysis. The findings showed how crucial it is to understand the variables influencing Gen-Z behavior and to get the Philippine labor market ready for the influx of young, skilled workers. The results demonstrate that the workplace behavior of Gen-Zs is greatly influenced by diversity, teamwork, individualism, work-life balance, leadership, organizational culture, career growth, and training. Similarly, good behavior at work has a favorable impact on general job satisfaction, employees' productivity, and the company's financial performance. The study can help managers and human resource specialists design the hiring and retention procedures of the business to promote positive workplace behaviors, particularly among the younger workforce. © 2024 Computers and Industrial engineering. modeling and simulation of the marine engine system is a highly complex system that involves many components such as cabin equipment, marine engineers, navigators, and shipping companies. In the digital simulation of the marine engine system, human factors should be considered to reflect the cognitive processes, behavioral patterns, and experience level of the marine engineers to reproduce the situation of a real marine engine management. In this paper, we analyze the cognition and behavior of the marine engineer and propose an intelligent agent model to support the analysis of engine management. The agent model can be used for the design optimization of the digital simulation system of the turbine management system by considering the influence of the marine engineer behavior. © 2023, Harbin engineering University.
