In the past few years, we have witnessed a rapid surge in technological advancements, which has significantly accelerated the evolution of Artificial Intelligence (AI) systems [1], [2]. This has fundamentally transformed the manner in which humans and machines communicate and interact with each other [3], [4]. The advent of advanced AI technologies has paved the way for the development of personal AI assistants that can emulate human intelligence and behavior [5], [6]. Our paper provides an in-depth exploration into the design and execution of ‘AIDEN: Artificial Intelligence and digital Entity Network’. AIDEN is an innovative project that aims to create a personal AI assistant. The primary objective of AIDEN is to enhance user experiences by facilitating interactions that are as natural and human-like as possible [7], [8]. This groundbreaking project represents a significant stride in the field of AI, pushing the boundaries of what machines can achieve in terms of mimicking human intelligence and interaction [9], [10].

This paper discusses the application of Internet and BIM technology to serve the construction mode of "PPP +EPC+ Fund"and management mode of "Executive Architect". Taking the exhibition Center of National Cybersecurity Center for Education and Innovation project as an example, relying on the CITIC Intelligent Construction Platform, BIM and digital technology such as cloud computing, big data, IOT, mobile Internet, chainblock etc., are used in the entire life cycle of the project, including design, procurement, construction and facility management. The need for point-of-care health solutions and digital health interventions continues to increase, driven by an aging population and those displaced from the systemic impacts of environmental, infrastructural, and economic factors. These demographic and social shifts are placing unprecedented strain on the healthcare system. In response to these challenges, digital health solutions are emerging, although data indicates low confidence among both consumers and healthcare professionals due to a lack of regulatory oversight compared to traditional medical systems. This research explores the use of augmented reality (AR) technology in physical therapy and rehabilitation as a potential digital health intervention. The focus is on improving upper limb and hand mobility. This study employs a digital engineering design process in collaboration with physical therapists and clinical researchers. The goal is to utilize data from the AR sensors to capture quantitative information about a patient's therapeutic progress. The digital engineering framework presented can be applied for improving the validation and verification of technology-based digital health interventions, with the potential to enhance access to rehabilitation resources. Use-case and requirement diagrams are developed through close collaboration with physical therapy clinicians, to assess user engagement and therapeutic outcomes. Activity diagrams capture successive stages of improvement in the proposed system. The performance of the AR application in tracking joint angles and measuring mobility during prescribed gestures is evaluated against published normative values, highlighting the potential of this technology to improve upon manual measurement methods.

A federated instrument-to-edge-to-center architecture is needed to autonomously collect, transfer, store, process, curate, and archive scientific data and reduce human-in-the-loop needs with (a) common interfaces to leverage community and custom software, (b) pluggability to permit adaptable solutions, reuse, and digital twins, and (c) an open standard to enable adoption by science facilities world-wide. The Selfdriven Experiments for Science/Interconnected Science Ecosystem (INTERSECT) Open Architecture enables science breakthroughs using intelligent networked systems, instruments and facilities with autonomous experiments, "self-driving" laboratories, smart manufacturing and artificial intelligence (AI) driven design, discovery and evaluation. It creates an open federated architecture for the laboratory of the future using a novel approach, consisting of (1) science use case design patterns, (2) a system of systems architecture, and (3) a microservice architecture.

Artificial Intelligence Generated Content (AIGC) technology shows great potential in product design. However, relatively limited research has been conducted on combining theory to guide AIGC technology to enhance the depth and breadth of idea generation. Utilizing the Theory of Inventive Problem Solving (TRIZ) and AIGC technology, a design method of product modeling was proposed, and an aging service robot design was used as a case. Assisted by ChatGPT and Python-based big data crawling techniques, the study explored user needs and refined design goals through high-frequency word analysis, competitor analysis, functional modeling, and causal chain analysis. Automated image acquisition, diffusion model inference, text prompt word organization, and image generation are employed to rapidly derive more targeted design solutions. Technical contradiction analysis and physical contradiction analysis are used to iteratively refine the design solutions iteratively, leading to the development of design concepts and validating the feasibility and rationality of the proposed method. The results indicate that the TRIZ can effectively complement the AIGC by enhancing the practicality of solutions through its systematic problem-solving capabilities, thereby improving overall design efficiency and innovation. This method can potentially accelerate the development of innovative solutions and conceptual designs. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2025.

This study proposes a novel traditional building structure-preserving 3D reconstruction algorithm based on hybrid imaging technology. The main application scenario of this algorithm is to provide a digital solution for building protection for the deformation and degradation of the traditional buildings caused by natural or human factors. This study first analyzes RGB imaging, thermal imaging, and 3D point cloud as three mainstream imaging technologies, and conducts a preliminary analysis of different modes of image analysis. At the algorithm design level, this study first uses the cross-modal registration algorithm, SIFT feature extraction and neural network density optimization method for comprehensive modeling. This operation achieves accurate alignment of RGB images, thermal imaging images and 3D point cloud data. Then, in the image detail optimization stage. This study uses high-frequency detail enhancement technology based on wavelet transform to enhance details. This operation enhances the texture and edge information of the image. Finally, combined with the partial completion algorithm of the image style transfer. Local style transfer is performed on the target area under the style prior background, thereby completing the restoration and reconstruction of the architectural image. Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm is superior to the traditional algorithm in image restoration quality, and obtains good performance in specific indicators, such as PSNR value of 32.0 dB, SSIM value of 0.85, and LPIPS value of 0.08. © 2025 IEEE.

Object recognition and object pose estimation in robotic grasping continue to be significant challenges, since building a labelled dataset can be time consuming and financially costly in terms of data collection and annotation. In this work, we propose a synthetic data generation method that minimizes human intervention and makes downstream image segmentation algorithms more robust by combining a generated synthetic dataset with a smaller real-world dataset (hybrid dataset). Annotation experiments show that the proposed synthetic scene generation can diminish labelling time dramatically. RGB image segmentation is trained with hybrid dataset and combined with depth information to produce pixel-to-point correspondence of individual segmented objects. The object to grasp is then determined by the confidence score of the segmentation algorithm. Pick-and-place experiments demonstrate that segmentation trained on our hybrid dataset (98.9%, 70%) outperforms the real dataset and a publicly available dataset by (6.7%, 18.8%) and (2.8%, 10%) in terms of labelling and grasping success rate, respectively. Effective manpower planning is crucial for any organization, including universities, as it directly influences performance, productivity, and overall success. Inefficient recruitment processes can lead to increased costs, higher turnover rates, and suboptimal utilization of human resources, negatively impacting the institution's ability to achieve its goals and maintain a competitive advantage. The objective of this study is to develop a comprehensive digital solution to streamline and enhance recruitment and manpower planning processes, replacing traditional manual methods. This paper presents the Recruitment and Manpower Planning System, an innovative web-based platform designed using Extreme Programming (XP) methodologies. The system integrates modern programming tools such as Visual Studio Code, Laragon, Laravel 9, and MySQL, and utilizes Unified Modelling Language (UML) for precise system design. A mixed-methods approach, incorporating quantitative data from structured questionnaires administered to 500 users, informed the system's design. Data analysis indicates a 40% reduction in recruitment time, a 35% increase in successful job placements, and a 90% user satisfaction rate. Rigorous testing phases ensured system accuracy and quality. This digital solution not only optimizes recruitment processes but also provides a robust prototype for future advancements in manpower planning systems.
