This paper connects researchers from two different areas of expertise – Architecture/CIM (City Information modeling) software and design – by using the concept of the Trojan Horse to develop a common project. The concept is used experimentally to get a different insight on these two knowledge areas and as a method to research the impact of scientific knowledge on the two specific academic communities by intersecting very specific digital features from both knowledge areas. Computer analysis can help to stop or at least mitigate human failures as methods and analysis can be speeded up immensely. This research stems from a conversation between CIM and design to improve the city analysis and modeling tools by looking into design thinking and design methods as a means for searching for better interfaces and human systems integration. © 2021, The Editor(s) (if applicable) and The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

Anaerobic fermentation is the most important link to gas production, this paper solves the current problem with the help of the current complete machine learning technology, combining perception and intelligent processing, intelligent processing of information, and derive a decision-making basis for its control or management [1]. Aiming at the current problems of the anaerobic fermentation process in biogas engineering, the system design was carried out, and the anaerobic fermentation process of biogas and its main influencing factors were investigated, and the monitoring parameters of the system were selected to be temperature, PH value, liquid level and redox potential [2]. Previous studies are mainly based on a single prediction model, which leads to poor generalization ability of the model. In this study, unbalanced samples are handled by Borderline-SMOTE algorithm. Based on the Stacking integrated learning approach, a common single prediction model is used to construct a combined prediction model. The accuracy, precision, recall, F1 score and area under the ROC curve are used to evaluate the advantages and disadvantages of the combined prediction model over the single prediction model.

The objective of this paper is to detect the over speed of vehicles on the roads. Although maximum speed limit signs exist on the roads, many accidents keep on because of high-speed driving. It is necessary to solve these problems through automation techniques. This paper describes a speed detection system for vehicles, the traffic police can easily check the speed of vehicles by using this system. This system consists of a PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) LOGO! V8.3, two Laser sensors, an HMI (human Machine Interface), a speed camera, and a LOGO! CMR (Communication Module Radio). The detected speed is displayed on the HMI display, moreover, if a vehicle crosses the limited speed, this system displays the over-speed on HMI, and the speed camera is activated to capture an image of that vehicle. Also, an SMS (Short Messages Service) will be sent by the CMR to the traffic authority informing them about the violation to take the necessary legal actions. The system can also store the collected data for documentation purposes. The authors describe a simple, affordable technique for monitoring vehicles' speeds in this paper.

Early and efficient harmonization between product design and manufacturing represents one of the most challenging tasks in engineering. Concepts such as simultaneous engineering aim for a product creation process, which addresses both, functional requirements as well as requirements from production. However, existing concepts mostly focus on organizational tasks and heavily rely on the human factor for the exchange of complex information across different domains, organizations or systems. Nowadays product and process design make use of advanced software tools such as computer-aided design, manufacturing and engineering systems (CAD/CAM/CAE). Modern systems already provide a seamless integration of both worlds in a single digital environment to ensure a continuous workflow. Yet, for the holistic harmonization between product and process design, the following aspects are missing:. The digital environment does not provide a complete and data consistent digital twin of the component;this applies especially to the process design and analysis environment. Due to the lack of process and part condition data in the manufacturing environment an adaptation of product and process design for a balanced functionality and manufacturability is hindered. Systematic long-term data analytics across different product and process designs with the ultimate goal to transfer knowledge from one product to the next and to accelerate the entire product development process is not considered This paper presents an exploration concept which couples product design (CAD), process design (CAM), process simulation (CAE) and process adaptation in a single software system. The approach provides insights into correlations and dependencies between input parameters of product/process design and the process output. Various traffic problems are due to human factors such as the decreased ability of drivers to perceive, recognize, and control vehicles. Based on road images, we have designed an end-to-end neural network model that can predict driving behavior, on which we have based an end-to-end modeling application. The model is designed as a decision model on the basis of the MobileNet V2 model, which learns and predicts driving behavior through behavioral cloning. The model is capable of predicting steering angles more accurately and uses a lightweight network that is small and efficient, offering significant advantages in applications for embedded devices. Simulation results demonstrate that the model and driver can perform tasks such as straight ahead, turning, acceleration and deceleration on the road. © 2022 IEEE.

In the era of the Internet of Things, the service industry has changed forever. The latest ICT (Information Communication Technology) provide us the best opportunity ever to better understand customers. The mindset of human-centered design emphasizes the importance of human beings (customers and designers) in design. To further incorporate human behaviors and other social and natural environment factors to build smarter service systems, we propose a new approach, the semiparallel service system (SPSS), which follows the ACP framework an emerging methodology in complex systems modeling. The core of SPSS is the hybrid service system, where designers are decision makers who control the artificial service system via behavioral rules. With behavioral rules, artificial service systems learn from real service system as well as big data from customers and the environment. With the hybrid service system, we can design prototype, perform experiments and run the system in parallel with the real service system. According to life cycle management concept, we expand system engineering method 'Vee' model to 'N' model to implement our SPSS framework. Finally, we use the case of internet hospital design and evaluation to demonstrate the advantages and potentials of SPSS, followed by a discussion of the future research challenges. © 2021 IEEE.

Development and application of digital technologies at the stage of new model design is highly relevant. Manufacture of a testbed vehicle and its full-scale pilot testing is impossible for Russian manufacturers of mining excavators due to a high cost of a prototype and a lack of special testing grounds. In order to reduce the risks of machine builders as vehicle manufacturer and those of MPPs as users of the prototype excavator, it is necessary to introduce and develop the digital twin technology at the stage of designing new models. A general reference point in development of the digital twin of a mining excavator is minimizing human input. Due to integration of works by stages of creation of the digital twin in a form of an information diagnostic system, there is a possibility to manage the life cycle of the product and optimize MRO with accounts of actual conditions and operating modes. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

The digital transformation of organizations, in the era of Industry 4.0, has profoundly renewed industrial work including design, production and distribution. With such an evolution, actors would learn a lot and redefine many formal (operating methods, procedures, processes, methods) and informal (corrections/remedies, local regulations, skills, etc.) working practices. Competencies are at the heart of these learnings and practices. Sociologists, psychologists, ergonomists and engineers have tried to define and characterize "competency" for its better identification and evaluation. Most of these researchers agree that competencies are difficult to identify but could be determined by inferring them through observation and traceability of human actions - those being more or less representative of reality. However, this identification process requires upstream relevant competency modeling in order to better interpret the collected competencies' traces and then confront them with peers to access the judgment on competencies. The authors of this paper rely on a presentation of concepts from different disciplines to define competency, emphasize its link to action and propose an action-based competency model. An example observed in a Company is detailed to validate the proposed model. At the end of the paper, we identify six situational mechanisms of articulation between material, immaterial and the actor's personal resources, necessary for competencies deployment and construction. The just-in-time adaptive intervention (JITAI) is an intervention design for supporting health behavior changes of an individual especially via mobile technologies. In this position paper we discuss JITAIs as a multi-level modeling problem focusing on the structure of multi-level JITAI models. JITAIs are designed on a generic level, configured for studies, personalized for participants, and evaluated at particular points in time. In this paper we model the multi-level structure of JITAI studies using composition and association classes. We sketch how to transform such models to multi-level models aligned with the multi-level theory. Finally, we discuss challenges and requirements for JITAI systems related to multi-level modeling.

Through the analysis of the construction project in the construction market, this paper discusses the three challenges of the traditional construction cost in the construction project. Because civil engineering is too large and covers a very broad scope, the project is easily disturbed by human factors and natural factors, leading to the construction progress, construction quality and construction safety is difficult to guarantee, so it is necessary to use BIM technology to strengthen construction control and management. BIM is a technology, method or process that uses digital technology to express geometric, physical and functional information of construction projects to support construction, operation and management decisions of project life cycle. Civil engineering is a very key part of the current social development process, with huge economic and social benefits. As far as civil engineering is concerned, its quantity and scale are increasing rapidly. Building information modeling (BIM) technology is leading a global revolution in the construction industry, which represents the future development trend of the construction industry and will have a profound impact on the engineering construction from design, bidding, construction, operation management and other links. Information sharing, paperless construction and whole-process management have been gradually applied to the field of architectural design, construction, management and operation and maintenance engineering. The original practice and training teaching system of civil engineering can no longer meet the needs of enterprises. In actual projects, BIM technology transforms optional factors such as process and change into optimal factors, thus laying a solid theoretical and practical foundation for maximizing investment income of construction enterprises.
