This study proposes a novel traditional building structure-preserving 3D reconstruction algorithm based on hybrid imaging technology. The main application scenario of this algorithm is to provide a digital solution for building protection for the deformation and degradation of the traditional buildings caused by natural or human factors. This study first analyzes RGB imaging, thermal imaging, and 3D point cloud as three mainstream imaging technologies, and conducts a preliminary analysis of different modes of image analysis. At the algorithm design level, this study first uses the cross-modal registration algorithm, SIFT feature extraction and neural network density optimization method for comprehensive modeling. This operation achieves accurate alignment of RGB images, thermal imaging images and 3D point cloud data. Then, in the image detail optimization stage. This study uses high-frequency detail enhancement technology based on wavelet transform to enhance details. This operation enhances the texture and edge information of the image. Finally, combined with the partial completion algorithm of the image style transfer. Local style transfer is performed on the target area under the style prior background, thereby completing the restoration and reconstruction of the architectural image. Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm is superior to the traditional algorithm in image restoration quality, and obtains good performance in specific indicators, such as PSNR value of 32.0 dB, SSIM value of 0.85, and LPIPS value of 0.08.

Concepts of mixed reality and virtual environments and their supporting technology are brought together and developed further. Continuous multi-sensory interaction and digital description put audiences into a narrative environment and unifies the emotion and the perception of informations. This paper proposes design possibilities that multi-sensory and multi-time-and-space interactions of information lead audiences into the narrative process. The perceptual environment will produce various information feedback based on audiences' behaviors, ultimately achieve unity in physiological emotions and perceptual behaviors and creating a new multi-dimensional perceptual experience space. This perceptual environment will get the audience more involved in the narration with the application of multi-media devices, and audiences will be more relaxed and free to participate in the spatial narrative.

The digital twin (DT) technique, defined as a dynamic mapping for the physical system to virtual replica, has attracted worldwide attention, which can realize the near real-time interaction among human, machine and environment. This paper aims to present an overview on the research status and technologies of the DT technique and propose an overall DT modeling framework for electrical machines. Among them, property modeling for advanced electrical machine design and analysis is one of the most important research topics which will then be fully investigated. Finally, the key problems that need to be broken through are summarized and the application prospect is also discussed. All the above-mentioned works may trigger in-depth thinking and bring research directions for the application of the DT technique in the field of electrical machines adhering to Industry 4.0 ‘informatization, digitalization and interaction’ concepts.

Color, as a fundamental element in digital imagery, plays a vital role across various domains, from art and design to scientific imaging. However, its representation and manipulation are challenged by the inherent subjectivity of human color perception and the limitations of traditional color naming and categorization methods. Addressing these challenges, this paper introduces PyFCS, a novel Python library developed to create and manipulate fuzzy color spaces, offering a more nuanced and realistic approach to color modeling. PyFCS leverages fuzzy logic and the conceptual spaces theory to allow flexible and accurate representation of color categories, overcoming the constraints of crisp boundaries. Building upon the groundwork laid by the Java-based JFCS software, PyFCS harnesses Python's strengths in computation and its rich ecosystem of libraries for enhanced data processing and image analysis capabilities. The library's user-friendly and scalable design, coupled with its integration with Python's computational resources, makes it accessible to a broad range of users, from beginners to advanced researchers. The efficacy of PyFCS is demonstrated through a case study involving the creation of fuzzy color spaces from a paint catalog and its subsequent application in mural painting, exemplifying its practical utility in real-world scenarios. Furthermore, this paper details how PyFCS seamlessly integrates with other libraries to offer a comprehensive color analysis, exemplified by linguistic description of colors present in an urban mural painting. This study introduces a sophisticated color space tool and enhances scientific collaboration by providing open-source access to PyFCS on GitHub.

With the rapid development of digital technology, the advantages of the multiple interactive teaching model of college English have become increasingly prominent. The multiple interactive teaching model of college English focuses on teacher-student interaction, student-student interaction, student-teaching material interaction, and human-computer interaction. The research analyzes the characteristics of the multiple interactive teaching mode compared with the traditional teaching mode, and also points out some of the problems and challenges it faces, and compares the experimental class with the control class in specific teaching practices, and draws the conclusion: The multi-interactive English teaching mode is conducive to improving students' English learning performance, and is a practical and effective teaching mode. Due to their large deformation, high flexibility, and lightweight, dielectric elastomer actuators (DEAs) represent a promising alternative technology for the design of miniaturized drive systems. In order to generate a stroke, a membrane DEA needs to be preloaded with a mechanical bias elements. The use of negative-rate biasing systems (NBS), such as buckled beams or permanent magnets, permits to significantly increase the resulting DEA stroke in comparison to conventional linear springs. This paper focuses on a novel type of NBS element for DEAs, consisting of compliant polymer domes. Advantages of the compliant domes over a rigid NBS include large mechanical flexibility in conjunction with high potential for miniaturization. A physics-based model of the dome is first developed and implemented in a finite element simulation environment. The model is subsequently calibrated and validated via experimental data. A design algorithm is finally developed to determine the biasing system geometry which maximizes the actuator stroke, based on the knowledge of the dome material parameters as well as the electro-mechanical DEA characteristics. © VDE VERLAG GMBH · Berlin · Offenbach.

The assessment of aortic valve pathology using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) typically relies on blood velocity estimates acquired using phase contrast (PC) MRI. However, abnormalities in blood flow through the aortic valve often manifest by the dephasing of blood signal in gated balanced steady-state free precession (bSSFP) scans (Cine MRI). We propose a 3D classification neural network (NN) to automatically identify aortic valve pathology (aortic regurgitation, aortic stenosis, mixed valve disease) from Cine MR images. We train and test our approach on a retrospective clinical dataset from three UK hospitals, using single-slice 3-chamber cine MRI from N = 576 patients. Our classification model accurately predicts the presence of aortic valve pathology (AVD) with an accuracy of 0.85 ± 0.03 and can also correctly discriminate the type of AVD pathology (accuracy: 0.75 ± 0.03 ). Gradient-weighted class activation mapping (Grad-CAM) confirms that the blood pool voxels close to the aortic root contribute the most to the classification. Our approach can be used to improve the diagnosis of AVD and optimise clinical CMR protocols for accurate and efficient AVD detection. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

The current study examines the level of scientific advancement regarding developing a multifunctional public-private collaboration model for delivering medical emergency services. A strategic solution to improve the effectiveness, quality, and accessibility of emergency care has been suggested: the creation of a multi-purpose public-private partnership (PPP) paradigm for medical emergency services. This model can speed up the adoption of cutting-edge medical technologies and management techniques that might be difficult to execute in strictly public systems [1]. The study employed a bibliometric approach and the Scopus database to find new scientific trends for developing a multipurpose public-private collaboration model for medical emergency services. The findings demonstrated a noteworthy 6.42% yearly increase in academic production on this topic in recent years. Four hundred sixty-eight sources and 3034 writers were working on these articles;the number of publications rose significantly from 2021. The USA led the globe in scientific production with 1277 publications, followed by the UK, India, and other countries. With 12 publications each, HEALTH AFFAIRS and EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT AND DISASTER RESPONSE UTILIZING PUBLIC-PRIVATE PARTNERSHIPS are the most relevant sources on the subject. JOHNS HOPKINS BLOOMBERG SCHOOL OF PUBLIC HEALTH, ATLANTA, and CENTERS FOR DISEASE CONTROL AND PREVENTION are among the institutions that have contributed to the body of knowledge on this topic. DE COSTA A dominates the field as the most productive author with seven contributions, followed by NKENGASONG JN and TRUCCO P, each with five (5) contributions. In the operation of nuclear power plant and especially when the digital human-machine interactive system is adopted, the cognitive decision and acts of operator play more and more important role in determine the plant's safe operation. In order to analysis the risk mechanism of human error and control the risk transmission, this study proposes a framework to conceptually model the performance shaping factor (PSF) interaction that involve the interactions of organizational, operator and technical system factors. Using the method of engineering psychology, the operator workload is adopted to be the central risk indicator and multiple levels of resource channel are considered in a quantitative manner. To reflect the dependency between PSFs, the system dynamics based modeling approach is adopted to identify the interactions between PSFs and the overall risk boundary. It helps to establish a dynamic model for human reliability assessment and human-machine interface design. Although this paper is focused on the method application on nuclear field, it has the potential to be extended to other industrial sectors.
