In supporting healthcare, modeling the human vessels is becoming particularly important due to the potential use of nanosensors in the blood flow. It results in especially important the modeling of pressure and flows along vessels to later predict the dynamic of flowing nanosensors. Supporting this intention, we conceive a digital simulator of the human arteries in this work. Extending widely accepted designs with analog circuits, we provide a low complex design in Simulink/Matlab and suitable to implement in field programmable gate array (FPGA) technology. The findings exhibit a good correspondence of the digital to the original analog design, and the resulted pressure curves behave accordingly to the human standard behavior. © VDE VERLAG GMBH · Berlin · Offenbach.

In an era of reduced profit margin and high market uncertainty, more than ever it is important to meet operational excellence as a key factor for business sustainability. This is common to most technical applications, but it is particularly true for the drilling operations, where considerable investments and associated risks are involved. During last years, as part of its digital transformation process, the operator has equipped itself with several digital tools for the diagnosis and the monitoring of drilling and completion operations. Goals and reached benefits can be summarized in risk reduction, operational efficiency and performance optimization. Based on an already wide case history started in 2019, a digital Drilling Package was developed for operations support, from the design to the construction phase. Three main tools are now available to be applied to the most complex wells, either stand-alone or in parallel, covering Non-Productive Time (NPT) prediction, performance advanced analytics and drilling operations real time simulations. This last simulation tool has been deployed for the first time in 2021 on some wells in Africa and is now being included in the engineering and operation workflows. Attacking operational NPT and invisible lost time with the aim to increase safety and to reach the technical limit is not only a matter of processing tools. It requires a deep integration among headquarters, geographical units and field locations, with the definition of a strong data management infrastructure. This paper describes operator's experience both on-site and in office, showing how the portability and integration of big data systems, suitable data lake architectures and human factor synergies can create effectiveness at all levels. An Africa field case history will be reported to show how predictive and data analytics modelling and tools interact. The development of information and communication technology in the twenty-first century has made it possible for information to quickly cross the boundaries of globalization. However, humanitarian foundation that work in the areas of education, treatment, job training, workplaces, and nursing homes for individuals with disabilities still do not employ information system technology extensively. The data collection system is still inefficient, resulting documents are easily damaged or lost. This study uses data collection methods with questionnaires and interviews with the number of samples determined using the Cochran formula. System Development Life Cycle Methodology was used to develop the application. The system is designed based on Object-oriented Analysis and design (OOAD) methods with the Unified modeling Language (UML) notation. The conclusion from the simple linear regression hypothesis test is that there is an influence between human Resource Management on Employee Performance. By designing an adequate Personnel Management Information System to support human resource management, it can improve employee performance. © 2023 IEEE.

digital clothing is a digital clothing model corresponding to the clothing in the real physical world, which makes the clothing image in the real physical world match and map with the clothing image in the digital virtual reality. Through the creation of highly similar clothing model;the digital Archaeology Research on clothing and the digital display and digital dissemination of clothing are realized This paper selects the important unearthed clothing materials of women's clothing in the southern part of the Yangtze River in the Yuan Dynasty. The material objects of clothing unearthed at the Qianyu Tomb in Wuxi, Jiangsu, and Cao Tomb of Zhang Shicheng, Suzhou, are used as objects for digital clothing reconstruction. Through computer interactive reverse engineering experiments, the digital clothing of women in the Southern part of the Yuan Dynasty is reconstructed The hanging and wearability of digital clothing are tested by software, and an interactive interface of small programs for digital clothing display is designed Experiments show that the digitally reconstructed clothing and unearthed clothing objects have a high similarity, and the reconstructed digital clothing through digital display and digital clothing platform applet, to achieve the dissemination of clothing cultural information and the sharing of clothing information resources, to study the value of digital protection and inheritance of ancient clothing.

In the current digital dispensation, human-Computer Interaction (HCI) fronts itself as key to the user experiences across all the other technological platforms. human-Computer Interaction will continue rising to the fore with rapid advancements experienced in technology and demand for seamless interactions between man and machine growing. Adaptive interfaces have been designed to meet the manifold demands and preferences of users, with the sole aim of improving the overall user experience. This paper thus goes further to try and understand the importance of adaptive interfaces within the domain of HCI toward improving user experience. How do adaptive interfaces optimally change their behavior with user inputs, context, and other determining factors to optimize a user's interaction with the system. It synthesizes prior knowledge and extracts main principles and methodologies of adaptive interface design from an extensive literature review. The basic ideas of adaptive interfaces and their roles in HCI are described. The theory could be, in return, a guide for the designers and developers for the efficient use of the adaptive techniques to develop interfaces more in accordance with users. It further explores several adaptive approaches based on advanced context-awareness, user modeling, and machine learning algorithms, and their implication on HCI. It further outlines various case studies and examples in their respective application domains, from web browsing to mobile applications and assistive technology, showing adaptive interfaces in use. © 2024 IEEE.

Deep learning technology establishes advanced methods for enhancing human-Computer Interaction systems by providing machines with the ability to sense and understand human emotional states. The capability's value stems from its applications, including healthcare situations alongside virtual assistants, gaming interfaces, and educational platforms seeking personalized functions. We present a deep learning framework that unites multimodal data fusion with Convolutional Neural Network(CNN) to enhance emotion recognition systems while improving performance and interpretability. The proposed framework undergoes testing against three benchmark emotion datasets: FER2013, AffectNet, and CK+ dataset. Our experimental findings show that the proposed system delivers a 92.5% accuracy rate for emotion recognition which exceeds traditional unimodal models by a maximum of 12% improvement. Context-aware modeling achieves a 15% performance boost during real-world applications while lightweight architectural design reduces system processing requirements by 25% to support edge device runtime operations. Through explainable AI integration users can see how the model functions to make decisions therefore establishing both trust and ethical practices in use. This research delivers substantial progress in emotion recognition study through an approach that establishes a deployable system that maintains both operational effectiveness and ethical operations across multiple human-Computer Interaction application domains. © 2025 IEEE.

Through the analysis of the construction project in the construction market, this paper discusses the three challenges of the traditional construction cost in the construction project. Because civil engineering is too large and covers a very broad scope, the project is easily disturbed by human factors and natural factors, leading to the construction progress, construction quality and construction safety is difficult to guarantee, so it is necessary to use BIM technology to strengthen construction control and management. BIM is a technology, method or process that uses digital technology to express geometric, physical and functional information of construction projects to support construction, operation and management decisions of project life cycle. Civil engineering is a very key part of the current social development process, with huge economic and social benefits. As far as civil engineering is concerned, its quantity and scale are increasing rapidly. Building information modeling (BIM) technology is leading a global revolution in the construction industry, which represents the future development trend of the construction industry and will have a profound impact on the engineering construction from design, bidding, construction, operation management and other links. Information sharing, paperless construction and whole-process management have been gradually applied to the field of architectural design, construction, management and operation and maintenance engineering. The original practice and training teaching system of civil engineering can no longer meet the needs of enterprises. In actual projects, BIM technology transforms optional factors such as process and change into optimal factors, thus laying a solid theoretical and practical foundation for maximizing investment income of construction enterprises. © 2023 IEEE.

The interaction between computer systems and humans is largely driven by the decision-making process of human beings. In the interaction process, delays are frequently unseen and therefore unforeseen, and their impacts are not considered as losses or as potential areas for improvement. As a result, the goal of this paper is to design a conceptual model to calculate delays impacts in decision-making interactions between humans and computerized systems. The model considers the sum of delays that occur due to various reasons;these include human delays, interface delays, and computer delays. Moreover, the conceptual model is applied in a supply chain system in which different human decisions interact with the digital planning model of an automotive manufacturer. The purpose of the simulation model is to quantify the loss and improvement potentials depending on the decision process delays in capacity measures in strategic, tactical, and operational planning horizons based on a defined target system. The results obtained show how delays significantly affect the supply chain performance. Finally, a methodological approach is presented for assessing the impacts of the delays in a sensitivity analysis.

For most of the life of Tengiz oil field, production has been constrained by the processing capacity of the existing plant facilities, therefore, the excess capacity of oil production above facility capacities (so called whitespace) has been used to compensate losses while conducting maintenance, reservoir surveillance and other field activities without impact on overall production. This paper describes an improved production forecasting approach to optimize field activities planning. The initial forecasting methodology required manual inputs. These manual set-up of models for predicting future production is time consuming and can sometimes be subject to human errors. Therefore, it was decided to automate the process and move from an Excel-based tool to digital solutions. The WhiteSpace Dashboard is a web-based tool designed to optimize and automate inputs for Integrated Production Modelling (IPM) and improve the decision-making process, while maximizing production deliverability to the plants. The tool embodies a set of automated workflows that increase the accuracy of production modeling based on automated data inputs, additional functionalities, data quality checks, ability to run several simulation cases on a cloud server and ability to compare the results. The new dashboard also aids to minimize human error and allows QA/QC of input and output data and parameters. The development of a fit-for-purpose digital tool, the WhiteSpace Dashboard, allowed TCO to combine all existing systems of record into one database with the opportunity to integrate various activities into one set of data input for production forecasting. All the subsurface data required for production forecasting is also automatically pulled from the digital Oil Field system of record with functionality to change the values for subsurface data such as Gas-Oil-Ratio (GOR), reservoir pressure and productivity index inside the web interface. Users have the flexibility to set up several simulation cases

Considering a low-carbon supply chain, the emission reduction capacity and effort level of enterprises are private information. When the government signs subsidy contracts with low-carbon enterprises, it exists problems of adverse selection and moral hazard. For the information asymmetry, from the two situations of whether there is a cloud platform or not, principal-agent models are established respectively. Analyze the utility function of enterprises and the government, formulate the government's low-carbon subsidy contract menu, and summarize the impact of the addition of the cloud platform on government subsidy contracts. The results show that: under the subsidy contract design with the participation of a cloud platform, not only the expected income of enterprises can be improved, but also the information rent obtained by enterprises with low emission reduction capability can be effectively reduced. © 2023 IEEE.
