This paper presents a novel design of a multi-agent system framework that applies large language models (LLMs) to automate the parametrization of simulation models in digital twins. This framework features specialized LLM agents tasked with observing, reasoning, decision-making, and summarizing, enabling them to dynamically interact with digital twin simulations to explore parametrization possibilities and determine feasible parameter settings to achieve an obj ective. The proposed approach enhances the usability of simulation model by infusing it with knowledge heuristics from LLM and enables autonomous search for feasible parametrization to solve a user task. Furthermore, the system has the potential to increase user-friendliness and reduce the cognitive load on human users by assisting in complex decision-making processes. The effectiveness and functionality of the system are demonstrated through a case study, and the visualized demos and codes are available at a GitHub Repository: https://***/LLMDrivenSimulation

This article offered a detailed discussion on full-model description from macro-design to micro-implementation of the enterprise through architectural modeling and process modeling, where the model description itself creates tremendous values for information sharing, business design and optimization of collaborative operation, providing a digital sand table of the AS-IS and the TO-BE for enterprise. Meanwhile, expression through visual model will have a major impact on the manner of enterprise management, analysis and decision-making, enabling simulation of enterprise operation under assumed conditions, hence helping managers in effective analysis and appropriate decision-making concerning all types of issues in enterprise operation and transformation design. At present, the enterprise system is far behind the engineering system in the application of modeling and simulation, which is, on one hand, attributable to insufficient skills of managers as the separation between management science and modeling theory and computer science has, to some extent, hindered managers from deep research and application of enterprise modeling technology;on the other hand, multitudes of hidden rules and fuzzy relationship between management elements in enterprise management have hindered the application of modeling technology. More time is still needed to build and adapt to new management modes in a full-fledged digital era to empower the collaboration of human intelligence and computer intelligence. Besides, it is equally important to build supporting tools and develop technologies, and more input from enterprise system researchers is needed in integrated application of successful modeling techniques and standards to accelerate evolution. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2021

In the current digital dispensation, human-Computer Interaction (HCI) fronts itself as key to the user experiences across all the other technological platforms. human-Computer Interaction will continue rising to the fore with rapid advancements experienced in technology and demand for seamless interactions between man and machine growing. Adaptive interfaces have been designed to meet the manifold demands and preferences of users, with the sole aim of improving the overall user experience. This paper thus goes further to try and understand the importance of adaptive interfaces within the domain of HCI toward improving user experience. How do adaptive interfaces optimally change their behavior with user inputs, context, and other determining factors to optimize a user’s interaction with the system. It synthesizes prior knowledge and extracts main principles and methodologies of adaptive interface design from an extensive literature review. The basic ideas of adaptive interfaces and their roles in HCI are described. The theory could be, in return, a guide for the designers and developers for the efficient use of the adaptive techniques to develop interfaces more in accordance with users. It further explores several adaptive approaches based on advanced context-awareness, user modeling, and machine learning algorithms, and their implication on HCI. It further outlines various case studies and examples in their respective application domains, from web browsing to mobile applications and assistive technology, showing adaptive interfaces in use.

This paper connects researchers from two different areas of expertise – Architecture/CIM (City Information modeling) software and design – by using the concept of the Trojan Horse to develop a common project. The concept is used experimentally to get a different insight on these two knowledge areas and as a method to research the impact of scientific knowledge on the two specific academic communities by intersecting very specific digital features from both knowledge areas. Computer analysis can help to stop or at least mitigate human failures as methods and analysis can be speeded up immensely. Anaerobic fermentation is the most important link to gas production, this paper solves the current problem with the help of the current complete machine learning technology, combining perception and intelligent processing, intelligent processing of information, and derive a decision-making basis for its control or management [1]. Aiming at the current problems of the anaerobic fermentation process in biogas engineering, the system design was carried out, and the anaerobic fermentation process of biogas and its main influencing factors were investigated, and the monitoring parameters of the system were selected to be temperature, PH value, liquid level and redox potential [2]. Previous studies are mainly based on a single prediction model, which leads to poor generalization ability of the model. In this study, unbalanced samples are handled by Borderline-SMOTE algorithm. Based on the Stacking integrated learning approach, a common single prediction model is used to construct a combined prediction model. The accuracy, precision, recall, F1 score and area under the ROC curve are used to evaluate the advantages and disadvantages of the combined prediction model over the single prediction model.

The objective of this paper is to detect the over speed of vehicles on the roads. Although maximum speed limit signs exist on the roads, many accidents keep on because of high-speed driving. It is necessary to solve these problems through automation techniques. This paper describes a speed detection system for vehicles, the traffic police can easily check the speed of vehicles by using this system. This system consists of a PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) LOGO! V8.3, two Laser sensors, an HMI (human Machine Interface), a speed camera, and a LOGO! CMR (Communication Module Radio). The detected speed is displayed on the HMI display, moreover, if a vehicle crosses the limited speed, this system displays the over-speed on HMI, and the speed camera is activated to capture an image of that vehicle. Also, an SMS (Short Messages Service) will be sent by the CMR to the traffic authority informing them about the violation to take the necessary legal actions. The system can also store the collected data for documentation purposes. The authors describe a simple, affordable technique for monitoring vehicles' speeds in this paper.

Virtual reality (VR) applications have made significant progress in the previous few years in many domains, including games, surgery, and flight simulators. VR is also gaining the attention of the AEC professionals for mostly design review and safety training. However, its use in construction education is minimal. One explanation for the low adoption rate in education is that VR application development and implementation are not as straightforward as other consumer plug-and-play applications and tools. VR implementation requires the development of VR applications which is primarily a computer programming intensive effort. There is a shortage of resources, including development tools, guidelines, and system architectural knowledge, for non-programmer construction educators interested in developing VR apps for classroom usage. This paper documents the design and development processes of a VR-based collaborative learning application for construction education. It describes the design and development of a virtual reality-based collaborative environment for construction students that allows immersive project-based teaching and learning. Following a review of the literature and consultations with construction instructors, the authors specified the objective of the VR application. The application will allow students to collaboratively solve problems, such as project safety plans and constructability assessments. The VR application was developed using the Unity game engine. The VR application was run using the Oculus Quest head-mounted device. To implement collaborative learning, a cloud platform called Photon server was deployed. Autodesk Revit was used to create three-dimensional digital models, which were then used to create a variety of scenarios in the VR environment. The authors plan to assess the usefulness of VR applications with construction students in the future. Various traffic problems are due to human factors such as the decreased ability of drivers to perceive, recognize, and control vehicles. Based on road images, we have designed an end-to-end neural network model that can predict driving behavior, on which we have based an end-to-end modeling application. The model is designed as a decision model on the basis of the MobileNet V2 model, which learns and predicts driving behavior through behavioral cloning. The model is capable of predicting steering angles more accurately and uses a lightweight network that is small and efficient, offering significant advantages in applications for embedded devices. Simulation results demonstrate that the model and driver can perform tasks such as straight ahead, turning, acceleration and deceleration on the road. © 2022 IEEE.

In the era of the Internet of Things, the service industry has changed forever. The latest ICT (Information Communication Technology) provide us the best opportunity ever to better understand customers. The mindset of human-centered design emphasizes the importance of human beings (customers and designers) in design. To further incorporate human behaviors and other social and natural environment factors to build smarter service systems, we propose a new approach, the semiparallel service system (SPSS), which follows the ACP framework an emerging methodology in complex systems modeling. The core of SPSS is the hybrid service system, where designers are decision makers who control the artificial service system via behavioral rules. With behavioral rules, artificial service systems learn from real service system as well as big data from customers and the environment. With the hybrid service system, we can design prototype, perform experiments and run the system in parallel with the real service system. According to life cycle management concept, we expand system engineering method 'Vee' model to 'N' model to implement our SPSS framework. Finally, we use the case of internet hospital design and evaluation to demonstrate the advantages and potentials of SPSS, followed by a discussion of the future research challenges. © 2021 IEEE.
