This paper presents the design and implementation of a 5G security testbed based on Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA). As 5G networks offer ultra-high speeds, low latency, and massive connectivity, ensuring their security has become a critical challenge, especially with the distributed nature and numerous connected devices. Traditional perimeter-based security models are no longer sufficient. Therefore, Zero Trust Architecture, which continuously verifies and monitors all resources and users regardless of their location, has been proposed as a solution. In this study, we propose a comprehensive security management system by integrating ZTA into a 5G testbed, focusing on real-time monitoring and dynamic policy enforcement using data collected from the Access and Mobility Management Function (AMF) and User Plane Function (UPF). The testbed's effectiveness is demonstrated through the deployment of Nokia's network equipment, allowing the collection and analysis of high-resolution traffic data, which aids in early threat detection and response. The proposed system enhances 5G network security and offers significant potential for application across various industries.

The topology of the Internet has been extensively studied in recent years, driving a need for increasingly complex measurement infrastructures. These measurements have produced detailed topologies with steadily increasing temporal resolution, but concerns exist about the ability of active measurement to measure the true Internet topology. Difficulties in ensuring the accuracy of every individual measurement when millions of measurements are made daily, and concerns about the bias that might result from measurement along the tree of routes from each vantage point to the wider reaches of the Internet must be addressed. However, early discussions of these concerns were based mostly on synthetic data, oversimplified models or data with limited or biased observer distributions. In this paper, we show the importance that extensive sampling from a broad distribution of vantage points has on the resulting topology and bias. We present two methods for designing and analyzing the topology coverage by vantage points: one, when system-wide knowledge exists, provides a near-optimal assignment of measurements to vantage points; while the second one is suitable for an oblivious system and is purely probabilistic. The majority of the paper is devoted to a first look at the importance of the distribution's quality. We show that diversity in the locations and types of vantage points is required for obtaining an unbiased topology. We analyze the effect that broad distribution has over the convergence of various autonomous systems topology characteristics. We show that although diverse and broad distribution is not required for all inspected properties, it is required for some. Finally, some recent bias claims that were made against active traceroute sampling are revisited, and we empirically show that diverse and broad distribution can question their conclusions.

A large number of research efforts have been put forward that attempts to transform a document image to format understandable for machine so that it can recognize the text or the information from the image. OCR i.e. Optical Character Recognition provides a solution for this. OCR is software that converts printed text and images into digitized form such that it can be manipulated by machine. OCR systems have established a niche place in pattern recognition. OCR has two categories, online and offline. The image of the scanned document goes through various stages like preprocessing, segmentation, feature extraction, etc. in order to retrieve the information from the image. OCR is also popular among the Android applications. Tesseract is one of the most widely used open source library for implementing OCR in Android application.

An Operating System is an interface between a user and computer hardware. It's a piece of software that handles hardware devices and acts as a bridge between an application software and hardware of the computer. Everything the user does is done in the user mode and what the system does is done in the kernel mode. The kernel is a computer program at the heart of the operating system, with absolute control of everything. Operating system concepts have been developed by many manufacturers over the years and a few quality ones to match with user demand and preferences. This paper helps compare operating systems by their quality attributes and using four of the most influential operating systems – Windows, Linux, Mac and Android OS, along with other technical details in assuring user guide when deciding what operating system to choose based on their requirements. The research uses factor analysis to obtain aggregate score based on selection criteria, with first choice at 50%, second choice at 42%, third choice at 6%, fourth choice at 2%. Windows 10 has highest GUI, Hardware Compatibility, Portability and Process Management features. Also it has high Memory Management, Text Mode Interface and file system features. However, Security feature on Windows 10 was least only 2% as fourth choice. Mac OS X has high percentage for Memory Management, GUI, Security and Architecture features. However, Hardware compatibility, Text Mode Interface, File System and Portability features was least only 2% as fourth choice. Linux Ubuntu 17.4 has highest Security, Text Mode Interface, Architecture and File System features. Also having high Portability and Process Management features. However, GUI and Memory Management was least only 2% as fourth choice. It was observed for latest version of operating system all have quality attributes but selecting most preferred choice of operating system would require proper analysis of the user. Windows with a percentage of 37% was first choice, followed b

Multiscale mathematical models that incorporate both intracellular and extracellular hepatitis C virus (HCV) dynamics have been developed in recent years to study HCV-host dynamics and antivirals mode of action and efficacy. They were built upon the standard HCV dynamic model that keeps track of uninfected hepatocytes, HCV-infected hepatocytes, and free virus in blood (for each there is a differential equation), along with a fourth equation that considers the intracellular viral RNA (vRNA) dynamics in an infected cell. A multiscale model with vRNA dynamics consideration is substantially more difficult to solve and the governing differential equations are stiff. In one of the derived differential equations there is also an integral involving the vRNA that is more accurately computed by considering previous iterations, impeding the use of canned solvers. To solve this problem we have chosen to implement a stable and efficient numerical method that belongs to the family of adaptive stepsize methods and is implicit, the Rosenbrock method. We provide a user friendly simulator called HCVMultiscaleDyn with a Graphical User Interface that applies this method and is useful to simulate viral dynamics during antiviral treatment.
