The Open structure for allotted and Cooperative Media Algorithms (OADCMA) is an open-deliver framework imparting a plug-in platform that lets customers, without problem, develop distributed and cooperative media algorithms to utilize the computational assets of diverse heterogeneous structures. It's miles designed for operations along with video capture, transmission, and machine operations. OADCMA affords unified APIs for allotted and cooperative media algorithms, which simplifies the implementation of distributed and cooperative media algorithms. Additionally, OADCMA permits green parallel computing while averting scalability problems. OADCMA helps a widespread fashion of verbal exchange networks, including allotted finite discipline computing. It is appropriate for an extensive kind of allotted and cooperative media programs together with video surveillance and broadcasting.

As well known, cloud computing follows dual pricing approach. It follows free-to-use as well as pay-per-use model approach, in which a user pays for the quantum of the resources they consume over a period of time. Depending on the demand, a customer requests for the resources and the Cloud Service Provider (CSP) allocates the resources matching to the customer’s requirements. In the past, in the simulation conducted using CloudSim software, researchers have usually worked with the pre-loaded and default values of variables for the resource allocation without considering the end-user requirement. In the current research work, a CRACLE: Customer Resource Allocation in CLoud Environment has been proposed that prompt customers for resource request and subsequent framework allocation of the same is done by the CSP. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Sequential diagnosis prediction (SDP) is a challenging task, aiming to predict patients' future diagnoses based on their historical medical records. While methods based on graph neural networks (GNNs) have proven successful for this task, they typically focus on modeling pairwise diseases using a global disease combination graph. However, these approaches neglect the fine-grained higher-order relations among persistent and emerging diseases within a single visit, which may contain crucial clues to predict the next diagnosis. Additionally, they fail to fully leverage patient-related clinical information present in electronic health records (EHRs). To address these challenges, this paper proposes a novel approach called the fusion of Dynamic Hypergraph and Clinical Event (DHCE) for sequential diagnosis prediction. The proposed method aims to exploit the fine-grained higher-order relations among diagnoses within a visit and leverage clinical event information from EHRs to improve the accuracy of predicting the next diagnosis. Specifically, DHCE categorizes diagnoses within a single visit in a fine-grained granularity into persistent and emerging categories based on a patient's historical diagnoses. It then constructs dynamic hypergraphs to capture higher-order disease relations within each visit. Next, we design a transition function to extract the transitional context from previous visits in order to generate the visit representation. Furthermore, to fully leverage patient-related clinical events in a visit, we utilize Bio-Clinical BERT to encode them and generate the clinical event representation for each visit. Finally, we combine the visit representation and event representation to generate a comprehensive patient representation, which is then used to predict the patient's next diagnosis. Experimental results on two benchmark datasets consistently demonstrate that DHCE outperforms state-of-the-art methods. © 2023 IEEE.

Traditional decision support systems (DSS) show obvious limitations in dealing with increasingly complex and dynamic decision-making scenarios. By integrating graph neural networks (GNNs) and expert systems (ESs), this paper constructs a new IDSS framework aimed at improving decision-making efficiency and accuracy. In terms of research methods, large-scale distributed computing is performed in the cloud based on parallel computing technology;the logical reasoning of expert systems and the self-learning ability of graph neural networks are combined to achieve dynamic updates and efficient processing of data by unstructured knowledge bases. Compared with traditional DSS, the accuracy of IDSS based on the fusion of GNNs and ES in financial forecasting and risk assessment scenarios is improved to more than 90%, and resource utilization is significantly optimized. This study shows that the integrated application of intelligent algorithms has broad prospects in improving the dynamic adaptability of decision support systems and coping with complex decision-making environments. © 2025 IEEE.

The rapid evolution of mobile networks presents challenges for devices with limited computing power. Mobile or multi-access edge computing (MEC) addresses this by providing computing resources in proximity to end devices. However, MEC servers face constraints in resource sharing, necessitating efficient allocation. We propose the Balanced Offload for Multi-type Tasks (BOMT) algorithm. Tasks are prioritized based on type, size, and maximum tolerable delay. Different offloading algorithms are applied for varying priority tasks, considering current server load. Simulation results demonstrate BOMT’s effectiveness in reducing latency, enhancing user coverage, and improving task completion rates.

The rise of cloud computing has transformed application development and deployment, with Kubernetes emerging as a key platform for managing containerized applications. This paper explores the use of Graph Neural networks (GNNs) to detect anomalies in Kubernetes clusters and proposes GNN-based Anomaly Detection in Kubernetes (GATAKU), which is instrumental in maintaining security and performance. Our work involves integrating Cilium for detailed network monitoring and data collection, setting up a Kubernetes cluster with k3s and Traefik, and simulating attack scenarios to generate realistic data. Data preprocessing and feature engineering prepare this data for the GNN training. We present the GATAKU model’s performance, highlighting metrics such as accuracy, precision, recall, and F 1 -score and compare it to baseline ML models, namely Support Vector Machine (SVM) and Random Forest (RF). Moreover, we discuss these findings and emerging challenges, including handling high-dimensional data, and explore practical implications for cybersecurity.

To meet the needs of large-scale users for personalized streaming media services with high speed, low delay, and high quality in a 5G mobile network environment, this paper studies the resource allocation mechanism of streaming media based on a 5G network from the perspective of user demand prediction, which can alleviate the pressure of mobile network, improve the utilization rate of streaming media resources and the quality of user service experience. The augmented reality visualization of large-scale social media data must rely on the computing power of distributed clusters. This paper constructs a distributed parallel processing framework in a high-performance cluster environment, which adopts a loosely coupled organizational structure. Each module can be combined, called, and expanded arbitrarily under the condition of following a unified interface. In this paper, the algebraic method of parallel computing algorithm is innovatively proposed to describe parallel processing tasks and organize and call large-scale data-parallel processing operators, which effectively supports the business requirements of large-scale parallel processing of large-scale spatial social media data and solves the bottleneck of large-scale spatial social media data-parallel processing. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Brain-related diseases are among the most difficult diseases to cure due to their sensitivity, the danger associated with performing operations, and their unanticipated costs. In contrast, the surgery is not required to be successful, as its effects may be unsuccessful. Therefore, it should be diagnosed at an early stage and the patient should be treated so that they can lead a normal life on their own. WBSN is a novel technology that is applicable in a range of healthcare contexts. WBSNs are made up of several sensors that are implanted in, around, or on the human body to track things like temperature, blood pressure, ECG, and EEG. In developed countries, Alzheimer's disease (AD) is one of the major causes of death. Using computer-aided algorithms has produced outstanding scientific findings, but no practically applicable diagnostic approach is currently available. In recent years, deep models have gained popularity, particularly for image processing. Deep learning methods surpass conventional machine learning algorithms in the recognition of complex patterns in vast quantities of high-dimensional medical imaging data. As a result, there is a growing interest in applying deep learning to medical diagnoses. In this paper, we will examine the most prevalent deep learning algorithms for diagnosing Alzheimer's illness using WBSN. © 2022 IEEE.

This paper proposes a design for CHFS, an ad hoc parallel file system that utilizes the persistent memory of compute nodes. The design is based entirely on a highly scalable distributed key-value store with consistent hashing. CHFS improves the scalability of parallel data-access performance and metadata performance in terms of the number of compute nodes by eliminating dedicated metadata servers, sequential execution, and centralized data management. The implementation efficiently utilizes multicore and manycore CPUs, high-performance networks, and remote direct memory access by the Mochi-Margo library. With a 4-node persistent memory cluster, CHFS performs 9.9 times better than the state-of-the-art DAOS distributed object storage and 6.0 times better than GekkoFS on the IOR hard write benchmark. Regarding scalability, CHFS displays better scalability and performance for both bandwidth and metadata compared with BeeOND and GekkoFS. CHFS is a promising building block for HPC storage layers. © 2022 ACM.

Infrastructures usually suffer environmental perturbations, and most of them are low probability events with catastrophic consequences, which poses a challenge to targeted preparedness for the possibility of cascading failures. The cascading failures on networks, in which malfunctioning nodes propagate failures through the reallocation process is studied in this paper. Traditional reallocation methods do not make use of global and local information reasonably, causing uneven distribution results. To conduct cascading attacks more efficiently, we propose a new strategy by considering node influence capability during the reallocation process, termed as RP-IC. The experimental results with respect to the node influence, network robustness as well as node destructiveness have demonstrated that our reallocation strategy RP-IC yields good performance on both synthetic and real networks, which can more efficiently expedite the cascade process than other traditional approaches.
