To increase the power and efficiency of VLSI circuits, a new, creative multiplying methodology is required. Multiplication is a crucial arithmetic operation for many of these applications. As a result, the newly proposed error-tolerant computing multiplier is a crucial component in the design of approximate multipliers that are both power and gate efficient. We have created approximative multipliers for several operand lengths using this suggested method and a 45-nm library. Depending on their probability, the approximation for the accumulation of changing partial products varies. In compared to approximate multipliers that were previously given, the proposed circuit produces better results. When column-wise generate elements are added to the modified partial product matrix using an OR gate, the output is usually accurate. the amount of energy used, and its silicon area have been considerably reduced in the suggested multiplier when compared to traditional multipliers by 41.92% and 18.47%, respectively. One of the platforms that these suggested multipliers are suitable for is the image processing application. © 2024 ieee.

this paper proposes an approach and workflow for autonomous control of implements and vehicles in agriculture. We introduce a control and communication concept for this purpose. the integrated behavior-based control architecture carries out the control. the cross-Application use of a sensor on various existing attachments turns simple implements into intelligent, autonomous ones. this concept is being tested and evaluated on selected implements. © 2024 ieee.

In electrical energy distribution, losses are a challenging problem, among these losses electricity theft plays a prominent role. Not only Pakistan but many other countries throughout the world face this challenge. this paper presents a system based on smart meter to detect the approximate location of electricity theft. Along with electricity theft detection, this paper also proposes a system for the elimination of illegal consumers. the approach used is that the total energy is compared with the legally consumed energy. For communication between the meters wireless communication techniques are used including Global System for Mobile communications (GSM) and Network Repository Function (NRF). © 2024 ieee.

this paper addresses the challenge of adapting a multilingual language model to an unseen language by using translations to augment the training dataset. We evaluate how fine-tuning a model with Hungarian data obtained through translations impacts performance on several classification tasks. Our experiments demonstrate that translating recipes into Hungarian and using them for training significantly improves the model's accuracy, with the best results achieved using only 35% of the total Hungarian recipes available. Additionally, fine-tuning on multilingual data before incorporating Hungarian leads to better performance compared to direct fine-tuning on Hungarian alone. Our approach has an overall increase in accuracy of 9.37% for three classification tasks. these findings highlight the effectiveness of using translations and multilingual models to enhance performance in low-resource languages in particular, where collecting labeled data for training is challenging and expensive. © 2024 ieee.

the proposed system integrates YOLOv5 [1] for object detection, CMFNet [2] for image enhancement, and ResNet [3] for image classification into a unified framework for comprehensive image analysis. this integrated approach overcomes limitations of standalone methods, providing a seamless platform for various image analysis tasks. the system demonstrates improved performance in visual quality enhancement, real-time object detection, and accurate image classification across diverse scenarios. the proposed design allows for flexibility and future extensibility, making it adaptable to evolving requirements in computer vision applications. © 2024 ieee.

With the increasing attention paid to people's property and life safety and the continuous development of mobile communication technology, the topic of intelligent password locks that are more intelligent, secure, and can better achieve full house smart homes has also gained greater research value. this article is based on electronic technology and uses mature electronic integration modules to design an intelligent password lock based on Arduino Uno. It integrates a matrix membrane keyboard, Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) module, Bluetooth module, Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) module, etc. there are three unlocking methods in total. the first is the numerical password unlocking, where the correct unlocking password is entered by keyboard to achieve the unlocking function. If the password is entered incorrectly three times in a row, the keyboard will be locked. After unlocking, the password can be changed by using a specified button;the second is RFID unlocking, which is achieved by contacting the card reader with a pre-set hexadecimal encoding card to achieve unlocking function;the third is Bluetooth unlocking, which can be connected to a mobile Application (App) to achieve wireless unlocking function. this design scheme can meet various needs and usage scenarios of users. © 2024 ieee.

Accurate diagnosis of brain tumors, such as glioma, meningioma, and pituitary tumors, from MRI scans is critical for effective treatment planning. this paper presents an innovative approach for brain tumor classification using hybrid models based on feature-level fusion of multiple Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) architectures, including ResNet, EfficientNet, AlexNet, VGG-Net and DenseNet. Additionally, an original CNN model was developed having a straightforward, yet highly efficient architecture. the proposed models were trained and tested on a well-balanced dataset of 5,721 MRI samples. the experimental results demonstrate that fusion-based hybrid models, integrating ResNet50 with other architectures, achieve high classification accuracy, outperforming single-model approaches. Furthermore, we implemented two majority voting schemes, which further enhance prediction reliability. this work contributes to the advancement of automated brain tumor diagnosis, offering promising solutions with potential clinical applications. © 2024 ieee.

A particular kind of neural network called an autoencoder (AE) is trained to discover a reduced and effective representation (encoding) of input data. In most of the applications of AE, it is found that this model has been used for generating the same images in compressed form. AE has also been used for encoding the images and signals. In this work, a supervised autoencoder is designed that is trained with both input images and corresponding targets that are also the images. this allows the model to learn a mapping from the input image to the target image specifically for segmentation. the proposed method is verified and trained with brain MRI images and segmented tumors. the dice score obtained in this method is 98.43% in producing segmented tumors. © 2024 ieee.

Controlling the spreading process in complex networks is of great theoretical and practical significance. One of the important methods to control the spreading process is ranking the spreading influence of nodes. However, it is still an opening topic to perform an accurate method to rank the spreading influence of nodes on weighted networks. Inspired by the idea that the similarity of topological structure of a node and its neighbours can be utilized to effectively rank the spreading influence of nodes, we propose a novel method termed as node2vec weighted K-Shell (N2VWKS) centrality. First, a graph embedding method node2vec is introduced to calculate the similarity of topological structure between nodes. then, the weighted K-Shell decomposition method (WKS) is utilized to consider the weights of edges and capture global topological structure information. Further, N2VWKS is proposed by combining the similarity between nodes and the effect of weights. We evaluate the ranking performance by utilizing two common metrics, namely accuracy and resolution. Experimental results show that N2VWKS exposes better performance than other methods. © 2024 ieee.
