High blood glucose levels are a defining characteristic of diabetes, with type 2 diabetes being the most prevalent form. Early detection and treatment can prevent or delay complications. To precisely anticipate type 2 diabetes risk, we applied machine learning techniques to identify unidentified correlations with a person's health condition. In order to find potential nonlinear correlations between the beginning of type 2 diabetes with an ensemble of health factors, this research used a binary classifier that was trained from scratch. three datasets - MIMIC-III, MIMIC-IV, and NHANES - were used. the equal number of people who had or did not have type 2 diabetes have been included in one data set that was created by combining the two sets of data. Reliability was the key metric, given the balanced dataset. the model achieved ROC AUC score of 0.934 with accuracy ratings up to 86%, which were positive results of this investigation. To increase the model's dependability, more research is required to take into account multiple readings taken throughout period for an identical person. © 2024 ieee.

Smart grids have witnessed substantial developments in power systems and have shaped a new trajectory in power system research. this study identifies the major themes and research trends in the intelligent operation and maintenance of power systems through a bibliometric analysis of 1005 articles from the Web of Science database. the main findings show three major co-citation clusters: 'Fundamental power system theories such as wireless channel state detection and transmission optimization, "Application of artificial intelligence and optimization algorithms in power systems"and "Wireless sensing networks, software-defined networks and other wireless communication network control technologies". the co-citation analysis also shows the prominent themes of "power information", "Internet of things", and "AI-driven power systems". the co-citation analysis suggests new theoretical directions for power system operation and maintenance and the role of optimization algorithms in the development of sustainable smart grids. Co-citation analysis results in AI and big data are becoming key in personalized experiences and highlight AI-driven sustainability strategies. the results of this study provide strong guidance for scholars and practitioners regarding the planning, design, and technical implementation of smart O & M in power systems. © 2024 ieee.

Considering the fact that the test case runs abnormally and the test case execution fails during the development and debugging of the 5G terminal protocol conformance test system. Here useful approach is implemented by embedding data copy and storage module in the system, which completes the encapsulation, copy and storage of massive data generated during the operation of the system, so that equipment developers can correctly locate the errors in the system according to the data, and repair the system loopholes to ensure the stability and accuracy of the system. © 2024 ieee.

In the past decade, Vehicular communication (VC) has been a main subject of research in the intelligent Transportation Systems (ITSs);particularly, with many emerging communication technologies such as DSRC and cellular networks. through the exchange of messages in a timely manner, these networks are anticipated to improve ITS functionality and driving experience on roads. Several dissemination algorithms have been created in order to achieve high accuracy and efficiency while minimizing redundant transmissions in VC networks. However, recent cyberattacks on automobiles have introduced cybersecurity as a new dimension in the performance of dissemination protocols. In this paper, delay-based, probability-based, and flooding-based dissemination algorithms are compared in terms of performance them evaluated against different types of cyberattacks using NS-3 and SUMO. According to the results, delay-based dissemination performs better than probability- and flooding-based dissemination in terms of network load, and hop count, for single and multiple packet transmissions. However, probability-based dissemination had superior performance over the delay-based dissemination by around 60% in terms of end-to-end delay. From security perspective, flooding, delay-, and probability-based algorithms had no defense against message falsification and Denial of Service (DoS) attacks, due to the lack of a content verification procedures. Yet, in position falsification attack, the number of relay nodes increased by 70% and the network load increased by 62.2% in both DBD and PBD.

this paper introduces a real-time face detection technology based on TMS320C6201. through the confidential communication between each subsystem, the synchronization of each subsystem is completed, and the real-time face recognition, feature code extraction, and the closest face matching are carried out. Firstly, Grabcut foreground extraction method is used for pre-background segmentation of recognized images to reduce external interference, and then face detection and identification are carried out according to the segmentation effect. A parallel MPI program is developed by transforming the traditional serialization-based face information updating method into a parallel method. this paper applies existing MPI-based methods and existing web-based facial information acquisition methods to improve the efficiency of existing face recognition technologies. It realizes the distributed processing of the update algorithm in the original face recognition system and enhances the ability of the system to process a large amount of data to achieve the purpose of improving the system performance. the experimental results show that the system combining grab cut and Adaboost algorithm can improve the recognition rate and detection rate, and the recognition speed is faster. © 2024 ieee.

the amalgamation of Natural Language processing (NLP) with Embedded Systems signifies a revolutionary progression in the creation of intelligent systems, permitting them to participate in interactions that are akin to those of humans. this study looks into the creative ways that NLP and embedded technology can be used in a variety of industries, such as healthcare, automotive, and smart homes. the paper illustrates how NLP enables embedded devices to comprehend, interpret, and react to human commands, improving user experience and operational efficiency, by looking at the underlying principles. the main obstacles to this integration are thoroughly examined, including resource shortages, the need for real-time processing, and environmental restrictions. the study emphasises how important it is to use low-power, compact NLP models that enable real-time language processing without sacrificing system efficiency. Additionally, the research discusses the fundamental approaches for improving these models' using methods like transfer learning, quantisation, and model reduction. In the end, this work seeks to shed light on the enormous potential of voice-enabled intelligence in embedded systems, opening the door to more interactive, intuitive, and adaptable technologies that can easily adjust to changing human needs. this study advances the continuous development of smart gadgets by bridging the linguistic and technological divide, increasing their usability and accessibility in daily life. © 2024 ieee.

Aiming at the problems of long entry time and high error rate of manual information collection, an ID card information collection system based on Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology and STM32 was designed. the system uses STM32F103C8T6 and STM32H750XIT6 as the control core, through the control of OV5640 image collector to collect the ID card picture, and then through the microprocessor distortion correction algorithm to preprocess the picture, the processed picture data is transmitted to the host computer developed by C# language by USB serial port protocol. Finally, the image data is transmitted to the connected Baidu AI open platform through the upper computer and then receives the returned data, and then further decodes, displays the results to the upper computer interface, or automatically exports text and table data. through the test, the system can effectively automate the whole process of ID card information acquisition and export, the hardware system to capture the image pixel is QVGA(320x240), the average time is about 1.6s, the identification is accurate and convenient, has a certain reference significance for modern intelligent office, cost reduction and efficiency. © 2024 ieee.

In recent years, remote sensing analysis has garnered significant attention in visual analysis applications, particularly in segmenting and recognizing remote sensing images. However, existing studies relying on deep convolutional neural network-based segmentation algorithms often fail to adequately address target boundary processing and lack attention to the distinctive shape characteristics of objects. To alleviate these issues, this paper introduces the SAGNet. SAGNet consists of two continuously integrating branches designed to maintain high resolution while enhancing the extraction of contextual features of the network. To integrate features from both branches, we develop a DISPP module. In addition, we propose an EdgeEnhanceRend module to refine object boundaries for enhanced delineation. Considering the shape characteristics of AGs, we incorporate a SA module within the dual-branch structure to integrate segmentation tasks with shape prior learning. this integration allows them to share and interact with potential high-level semantics and shape priors to achieve better segmentation results. Experimental results show that SAGNet significantly outperforms other methods in precise identification of AGs. © 2024 ieee.

With the continuous development of intelligent manufacturing and industrial Internet, the architecture of industrial systems requires industrial communication networks to provide greater bandwidth and higher connection density, and have higher cabling flexibility while ensuring low latency and high reliability. the integration deployment of 5G and industrial control network has become the focus of research. However, time synchronization is the basis of the converged deployment application, and the time synchronization mechanism of the 5G system is not fully compatible with the existing time synchronization method of industrial control system. In this paper, we will analyze the time synchronization requirements of 5G in carrying industrial applications, discuss the time synchronization challenges faced in the process of co-deployment of 5G and industrial control networks, and put forward the corresponding solutions, aiming at verifying the feasibility of the solutions through experiments, and providing a theoretical basis and technical support for the in-depth application of 5G technology in the industrial field. © 2024 ieee.

this paper presents a novel approach to improve cooking experiences by integrating advanced natural language processing and machine learning techniques within the food industry. the research focuses on developing a predictive model that optimally predicts cooking settings for nutrient categorization, cooked product aspect and moisture reduction level. By leveraging NLP techniques, the model aims to interpret and classify recipes across multiple languages, enabling smart ovens to adjust settings autonomously. Joint learning is employed to train a transformer-based model, by combining the losses of the three tasks. Challenges such as multilingual data variability, dataset imbalance and model interpretability are addressed through different methodologies including data augmentation, feature engineering and Explainable AI techniques. the outcomes contribute to improve cooking processes, reducing errors and enhancing user trust in AI -driven culinary solutions. the results indicate that Translate- Train-All translation method, where the training set is balanced across languages, significantly improves the model's performance, by nearly 1.00%, especially for low resource languages. Also, adding the additional genre feature enhances the model's knowledge and improves its predictive capabilities by almost 1.00%. © 2024 ieee.
