The HVAC system is one of the major power consuming equipment in buildings. Considering the effective setpoint temperature of each zone can increase efficiency in managing power usage in buildings, leading to the operating cost reduction. This paper presents the design of supervisory control (SC) for multi-zone HVAC systems that aims to minimize the total operating cost (TOC) and the thermal comfort cost (TCC). To minimize the TOC and TCC, both objectives are normalized and combined as a quadratic programming (QP) problem which can be efficiently solved. To achieve the design objective, two methods of SC are developed for multi-zone, namely, centralized SC and decentralized SC. We apply standard QP and sparse QP solvers using interior point method. The numerical results reveal that centralized SC performs better according to a trade-off curve which TOC and TCC are lower. While both solvers give the same results, sparse solver can provide the solutions faster than interior point method. This paper demonstrates that centralized control is appropriate for implementation in multi-zones buildings and the sparse solver proves to be more suitable in the context of sparse QP problem.

This paper studies the secrecy energy efficiency (SEE) of a simultaneous wireless information and power transfer (SWIPT) network aided by multiple reconfigurable intelligent surfaces (RIS). The SWIPT network comprises several information decoding receivers (IDRs) and energy harvesting receivers (EHR) served by an access point (AP) supported by several distributed RIS. To effectively define the trade-off between the secrecy rate and energy efficiency of the multi-RIS SWIPT system, an optimization problem is formulated to maximize the SEE by optimizing the transmit beamforming at the AP and the phase shift at each RIS while dynamically controlling each RIS's ON/OFF status. The resultant non-convex optimization problem is solved using a deep reinforcement learning (DRL) framework to design the beamforming policy and a control mechanism for the RISs. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm enhances the SEE compared to other benchmark schemes.

The Study and application of fire alarm system in computer and telecommunication control room aims to study and design the design of an emergency notification system in the control room along with testing and implementation. The system is designed for fire incident detection and alarm notifications by utilizing electronic devices and microcontrollers as tools for fire incident detection such as smoke and heat generation and notify involved personnel before a fire occurs, using the principles of electronic equipment integrated with the Internet of things for signal transmission and installation testing in building premises. During testing, the system can rapidly send emergency notifications when incidents occur on-site, and able to notify via the LINE application, providing users with timely awareness of impending fire incidents. This is highly beneficial as it allows users to quickly check the alerted areas and prepare for incident mitigation before any damage occurs to personnel and property in the building. The test results show that the signal transmission aspect of the system works well with the emergency notification devices, and the system operates according to the programmed conditions accurately with high satisfaction from users and personnel involved in building management at a significantly high level.

This design is an intelligent fish tank aquaculture system based on a microcontroller, with STC89C52 microcontroller as the main control unit. The system includes timing module, water level detection module, temperature detection module, light detection module, button module, oxygen flushing module, feeding module, water change module, heating module, lighting module, display module, communication module, etc. When the system is working, the temperature sensor DS18B20 can be used to detect the temperature of the water body. We need to detect the illumination of the fish tank through the photoresistor GL5506 and transmit temperature and lighting information to the microcontroller for processing, while displaying the status of the fish tank on the LCD screen. The systemcontrol of this system can be divided into button control, automatic control, and remote control. And three operation modes are adopted to complete functions such as oxygen flushing, feeding, water exchange, heating, and lighting. The aquaculture communication module uses WiFi to connect to a mobile app, enabling remote observation and control of the fish tank status. It provides a favorable living environment for the growth of fish. The system has implemented functions such as timed feeding, oxygen flushing, water replacement, automatic heating based on sensor detection, automatic lighting control, button control, and remote control of the fish tank. The experimental results show that this design can effectively improve the efficiency of fish tank management and resource utilization, and has certain practicality.
