Multi-axis systems have a wide range of applications in engineering and technology. It can be used in CNC machine tools, multi-axis industrial robots and other fields. Real-time communication modules play an important role in multi-axis systems. It is the communication bridge between software and hardware. This paper introduces the design of a new LinuxCNC real-time communication module which based on EtherCAT SOEM master protocol library. Compared with traditional solutions, this solution has low code volume, good open source and active community support. The design scheme of the communication module is given. Verification experiments for IO slave stations and servo motor slave stations are designed for this module. The experimental results show that the calling time of the communication module is 1ms, which is strictly consistent with the host computer. The measured motor position error in each communication cycle is only +/- 2.5%, which shows that the module has accurate control time and high control precision, and can be applied to the research of multi-axis systems.

The objective of this paper is to develop an Optimized Scheduling Decision and controlsystem (OSDCS) for edible oil pipeline based on a path planning algorithm to assist in decision making. The OSDCS will assist managers in issuing decision commands to solve the problem of incomplete task scheduling and planning in edible oil factory production. The OSDCS utilizes both A* and Dijkstra's algorithms to realize optimal path planning. At the same time, through the friendly 3D visualization technology, it simulates a 3-dimensional environment to present the specific production line of the edible oil pipeline. Then, the operator can check the situation of the edible oil pipelines by this human-machine interface of the well development OSDCS. This paper uses the C# programming language to integrate path planning algorithms and assist in task scheduling decisions. The decision results are simulated using computer-aideddesign (CAD) models to replicate the actual edible oil transfer. The OSDCS can reduce human intervention and increase production efficiency.

The goal of this paper is the construction and operation of a 4-axis CNC (computer Numerical control) machine, where its mechanical structure and the electronic controller responsible for facilitating movement in the fourth axis will be explained. The Marlin firmware is used to monitor the operation of the XYZ axis motors. The fourth axis has a controlsystem by an independent microcontroller. The selection of machine actuators is rigorously validated through mathematical calculations and an analysis of the physical forces influencing the fourth axis of the CNC machine. The price of this CNC machine will be approximately the same as a 3D printer, and consequently, the size of this machine will reduce compared to a common industrial 4-axis CNC machine.

Correcting the controlsystem's frequency response to meet requirements such as stability, steady-state and dynamic performance is a crucial part in the course Automatic control Principle. To help students better understand and harness the design and implementation of lead-lag compensators, the related theoretical and computer- aided teaching design procedure are presented in this article. Firstly, the characteristics and advantages of lead-lag compensator compared with the other cascaded compensators are discussed. Then, the seven design steps of lead-lag compensator are presented, and finally a case study on how to designing the lead-lag compensator via MATLAB is provided. Simulation results are presented to verify the computer-aideddesign process for lead-lag compensator.
