MEMS resonators are attractive for sensing applications owing to their inherent high sensitivity. MEMS resonators can induce mechanical resonance of high quality(Q)-factors, which enables precision readout of the shift in their resonance frequencies for various sensing scenarios. However, mechanical nonlinearity in MEMS resonators presents challenges for device applications, such as hysteresis and increased frequency noise, which can degrade device performance. Conversely, nonlinear dynamics also offer new possibilities for advanced functionalities, including enhanced frequency stability and improved thermal responsivity through nonlinear mode coupling. In this study, the tunable nonlinearity of doubly-clamped MEMS beams is modeled, with a particular focus on MEMS beams featuring a small initial center deflection. It is demonstrated that the mechanical nonlinearity of the first bending mode can be significantly tuned by applying internal strain, either thermally induced or resulting from preloaded lattice mismatch strain. Notably, the mechanical nonlinearity can be tuned from hardening to softening, with the possibility of achieving a quasi-zero nonlinearity condition. This condition is very promising for applications requiring ultra-high sensitivity sensing. © 2024 ieee.

The flyback converter presents itself as a compelling choice for DC-DC conversion in a wide range of applications, owing to the appealing advantages it offers. However, the overall performance of the converter is negatively impacted by parasitic components present in the transformer and converter circuits. The input current's quality has also been impacted by the switching frequency. The simulation based on flyback transformer 6-C modeling is presented in this study, with a particular emphasis on the input current of the converter using PSIM simulation software. It is evident that the input current of the converter becomes distorted with a high-frequency signal up to 2.5 MHz when the transformer enters its natural capacitive mode. Moreover, it should be noted that the conversion efficiency exhibits a decrease with an increase in the switching frequency. This analysis offers potential insights for enhancing converter design by taking into account the influence of parasitic elements. © 2023 ieee.

With the development of information technology, the security and reliability of power marketing service systems have become increasingly important. This article proposes an identity authentication protocol based on multi factor features to enhance the security level of access channel control in power marketing service systems. This protocol combines traditional password authentication with modern mobile SMS verification code authentication, while considering the possible introduction of biometric authentication in the future, thus forming a multi-layer protection system. This study first defines the main participants of the power marketing service system, including users, authentication servers, SMS gateways, and the power marketing service system itself. On this basis, a multi factor authentication process was designed to ensure that only rigorously verified users can access sensitive functions and services in the power marketing service system. In order to verify the security and effectiveness of the proposed protocol, this paper adopts BAN logic for formal security verification. Through reasoning rules, it has been proven that the protocol can resist common security threats in practical applications, such as man in the middle attacks and replay attacks. In addition, this article proposes an access channel control algorithm that dynamically adjusts user access permissions based on authentication results to ensure secure access to system resources. Finally, the feasibility and stability of the scheme in practical deployment were verified through unit testing, integration testing, and stress testing of the authentication protocol and access control algorithm. The research results indicate that the proposed identity authentication protocol based on multi factor features can significantly improve the security of the power marketing service system and provide flexible expansion space for future system upgrades. © 2024 ieee.

This paper studies the nonlinear positioning technology of the capsule robot in the magnetic field, aiming to prove that the nonlinear algorithm has higher calculation accuracy than the traditional algorithm. Given the complex and unpredictable characteristics of the human body environment, magnetic positioning technology is crucial for the positioning of capsule robots in the internal human body environment. Therefore, improving the accuracy and reliability of positioning is of great significance for medical applications and diagnostic processes. In this study, the Maxwell simulation model of the magnet was first established to simulate the behavior of the magnet in the magnetic field, and the magnetic field distribution of the permanent magnet was analyzed. On this basis, we compare the proposed nonlinear algorithm with traditional algorithms. By comparing the experimental results and calculating the accuracy evaluation, we found that the nonlinear algorithm exhibited higher accuracy and stability in the magnetic positioning of the capsule robot than the traditional algorithm. This research provides a new method and technical support for the precise positioning of capsule robots, which will help improve the accuracy and feasibility of endoscopic surgery and diagnosis. © 2023 ieee.

The automated segmentation of lungs within chest CT scans remains crucial for many medical applications that require disease diagnosis and treatment design. The presented deep incremental learning (DIL) system addresses fundamental limitations that arise during lung segmentation processes. The exceptional segmentation outcomes result from the neural network structure which includes masked RCNN+UNet for tissue segmentation and GAN+VARMA for classification. Medical literature identifies lung tissue structures as difficult to study because they present irregular forms and complex structures. The task of obtaining precise segmentation proves very challenging. The application of masked RCNN+UNet enables shape control and improves segmentation precision of the lung system. The DIL function helps maintain improved features within segmented images. The applied framework enables improved performance through DSC and MAE and JI metrics evaluation. Experimental evidence shows that the new framework achieves superior performance compared to current top-ranking methods for lung segmentation. The proposed framework exhibits excellent precision and detection efficiency with a DSC value of 0.96 and JI value of 0.93 and a low MAE © 2025 ieee.

Our project introduces an Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) system tailored for confined spaces, addressing the adverse effects of noise pollution on comfort and well-being. Unlike passive methods, ANC actively counters ambient noise in real-time using strategically placed microphones and compact circuitry to generate anti-noise signals. These signals, synchronized and delivered via speakers, effectively cancel out the original noise, significantly reducing perceived noise levels. Harnessing solar energy for power, the system promotes environmental sustainability and reduces dependence on conventional energy sources. By integrating principles like destructive interference and phase inversion, our ANC system offers a quiet and comfortable acoustic environment conducive to improved communication and overall well-being. With the convenience of maneuvering and taking off easily, quadrotors are becoming more and more popular in military as well as civilian applications recently. The quadrotor is an under-actuated system. Moreover, in the presence of the external disturbance and uncertainties, it's even more difficult to control. Therefore, the study of flight control algorithms for the quadrotor is absolutely necessary and that is also the main purpose of this study. First, the trajectory tracking problem without disturbance and uncertainties is solved by a backstepping controller (BSC). Then, an adaptive backstepping sliding mode controller (ABSMC) is investigated to solve the influence of external disturbance. Next, a controller was developed from the ABSMC controller to ensure that the tracking errors converge to zero while the coefficients of air resistance are unknown. In addition, all control algorithms are analyzed for stability. Finally, several simulations are performed to verify as well as compare with the studied control algorithms. © 2023 ieee.

This research study presents an advanced multi-model ensemble approach for cyberbullying detection that effectively identifies and classifies various forms of online harassment across social media platforms. The proposed framework combines five machine learning models - LightGBM, XGBoost, Support Vector Machine (SVM), Random Forest, and Logistic Regression - through a voting classifier mechanism. Our methodology incorporates sophisticated text preprocessing techniques and leverages both TF-IDF and Word2Vec embeddings for feature extraction, while addressing dataset imbalances through the Synthetic Minority Over-sampling Technique (SMOTE). The ensemble approach achieves an impressive accuracy of approximately 94%, outperforming individual models which scored between 92-93%. Particularly notable are the model's strong performance metrics across different cyberbullying categories, with F1-scores ranging from 0.84 to 0.99 for detecting gender-based, religious, age-related, and ethnic harassment. The research also introduces a user-friendly Streamlit interface for real-time cyberbullying detection, making the technology accessible for practical applications. Our findings demonstrate that combining multiple well-tuned models with advanced feature engineering techniques can significantly enhance the accuracy and reliability of cyberbullying detection systems. © 2024 ieee.

MultiUAV path planning has gained significant attention, driven by the applications of UAVs in commercial contexts. However, prevailing research often limits the full spectrum of real-world constraints inherent in this complex problem. This paper investigates efficient path planning of agents navigating urban environments. Each agent is tasked with delivery responsibilities' necessitating movement to starting points and subsequent goal positions while navigating obstacles and avoiding collisions with other agents. Two distinct approaches are introduced: the Two Step Interplanner and the Two Step Interplanner with Conflict Resolution. These methodologies meticulously consider potential points of conflict and various constraints. Through experimentation, these algorithms are simulated on a pre-generated 3D occupancy map. The latter algorithm is particularly pertinent in scenarios where real-time computation is paramount. Initially tested in a 2D environment with multiple agents assigned specific tasks and goals, these methodologies were extended to a 3D map, accounting for UAV-specific constraints such as maximum roll angle and forward flight speed. © 2024 ieee.

Dielectric lens antennas are attracting the attention of researchers for applications at higher frequencies due to their high radiation capability, low side lobe levels, and simple structure. This paper focuses on the investigation and examination of two types of dielectric lens antennas, namely the plano-convex lens and hyperbolic-planar lens forms, utilizing pyramidal horn antennas as the feed with varying dimensions, operating within the 270 GHz frequency band. The results indicate that the plano-convex lens exhibits superior maximum gain compared to the standalone pyramidal horn antenna and the hyperbolic-planar lens. The sidelobe levels of both types of dielectric lens antennas are maintained at a low threshold of below -23.02 dB. © 2023 ieee.
