Our project introduces an Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) system tailored for confined spaces, addressing the adverse effects of noise pollution on comfort and well-being. Unlike passive methods, ANC actively counters ambient noise in real-time using strategically placed microphones and compact circuitry to generate anti-noise signals. These signals, synchronized and delivered via speakers, effectively cancel out the original noise, significantly reducing perceived noise levels. Harnessing solar energy for power, the system promotes environmental sustainability and reduces dependence on conventional energy sources. By integrating principles like destructive interference and phase inversion, our ANC system offers a quiet and comfortable acoustic environment conducive to improved communication and overall well-being. This innovative approach meets the demand for efficient noise cancellation while prioritizing sustainable practices in technology development. © 2024 ieee.

With the convenience of maneuvering and taking off easily, quadrotors are becoming more and more popular in military as well as civilian applications recently. The quadrotor is an under-actuated system. Moreover, in the presence of the external disturbance and uncertainties, it's even more difficult to control. Therefore, the study of flight control algorithms for the quadrotor is absolutely necessary and that is also the main purpose of this study. First, the trajectory tracking problem without disturbance and uncertainties is solved by a backstepping controller (BSC). Then, an adaptive backstepping sliding mode controller (ABSMC) is investigated to solve the influence of external disturbance. Next, a controller was developed from the ABSMC controller to ensure that the tracking errors converge to zero while the coefficients of air resistance are unknown. In addition, all control algorithms are analyzed for stability. Finally, several simulations are performed to verify as well as compare with the studied control algorithms. © 2023 ieee.

The automated segmentation of lungs within chest CT scans remains crucial for many medical applications that require disease diagnosis and treatment design. The presented deep incremental learning (DIL) system addresses fundamental limitations that arise during lung segmentation processes. The exceptional segmentation outcomes result from the neural network structure which includes masked RCNN+UNet for tissue segmentation and GAN+VARMA for classification. Medical literature identifies lung tissue structures as difficult to study because they present irregular forms and complex structures. The task of obtaining precise segmentation proves very challenging. The application of masked RCNN+UNet enables shape control and improves segmentation precision of the lung system. The DIL function helps maintain improved features within segmented images. The applied framework enables improved performance through DSC and MAE and JI metrics evaluation. Experimental evidence shows that the new framework achieves superior performance compared to current top-ranking methods for lung segmentation. The proposed framework exhibits excellent precision and detection efficiency with a DSC value of 0.96 and JI value of 0.93 and a low MAE © 2025 ieee.

Dielectric lens antennas are attracting the attention of researchers for applications at higher frequencies due to their high radiation capability, low side lobe levels, and simple structure. This paper focuses on the investigation and examination of two types of dielectric lens antennas, namely the plano-convex lens and hyperbolic-planar lens forms, utilizing pyramidal horn antennas as the feed with varying dimensions, operating within the 270 GHz frequency band. The results indicate that the plano-convex lens exhibits superior maximum gain compared to the standalone pyramidal horn antenna and the hyperbolic-planar lens. The sidelobe levels of both types of dielectric lens antennas are maintained at a low threshold of below -23.02 dB. © 2023 ieee.

This research study presents an advanced multi-model ensemble approach for cyberbullying detection that effectively identifies and classifies various forms of online harassment across social media platforms. The proposed framework combines five machine learning models - LightGBM, XGBoost, Support Vector Machine (SVM), Random Forest, and Logistic Regression - through a voting classifier mechanism. Our methodology incorporates sophisticated text preprocessing techniques and leverages both TF-IDF and Word2Vec embeddings for feature extraction, while addressing dataset imbalances through the Synthetic Minority Over-sampling Technique (SMOTE). The ensemble approach achieves an impressive accuracy of approximately 94%, outperforming individual models which scored between 92-93%. Particularly notable are the model's strong performance metrics across different cyberbullying categories, with F1-scores ranging from 0.84 to 0.99 for detecting gender-based, religious, age-related, and ethnic harassment. The research also introduces a user-friendly Streamlit interface for real-time cyberbullying detection, making the technology accessible for practical applications. Our findings demonstrate that combining multiple well-tuned models with advanced feature engineering techniques can significantly enhance the accuracy and reliability of cyberbullying detection systems. © 2024 ieee.

MultiUAV path planning has gained significant attention, driven by the applications of UAVs in commercial contexts. However, prevailing research often limits the full spectrum of real-world constraints inherent in this complex problem. This paper investigates efficient path planning of agents navigating urban environments. Each agent is tasked with delivery responsibilities' necessitating movement to starting points and subsequent goal positions while navigating obstacles and avoiding collisions with other agents. Two distinct approaches are introduced: the Two Step Interplanner and the Two Step Interplanner with Conflict Resolution. These methodologies meticulously consider potential points of conflict and various constraints. Through experimentation, these algorithms are simulated on a pre-generated 3D occupancy map. The latter algorithm is particularly pertinent in scenarios where real-time computation is paramount. Initially tested in a 2D environment with multiple agents assigned specific tasks and goals, these methodologies were extended to a 3D map, accounting for UAV-specific constraints such as maximum roll angle and forward flight speed. © 2024 ieee.

The access of large-scale renewable energy and flexible load under the double carbon target has led to an increasing proportion of new energy in the power system. Due to the unpredictable and sporadic nature of modern energy sources, large-scale grid connection will lead to frequency fluctuations in the power grid. Thus, it poses significant difficulties for the power system's efficient, reliable, and safe operation. In this paper, in order to increase the control effectiveness of cooperative systems, a new double-depth Q-network learning algorithm for distributed power grids is proposed. The algorithm splits using Q-values into the worth of states and the advantage of actions, which enables the intelligences to learn and update these two parts independently, which not only improves the efficiency and stability of Q learning, but also decreases the quantity of actions that should be evaluated, thus enhancing the effectiveness and performance within the algorithm. The results of modeling the IEE standard two-region load frequency control model reveal that the suggested algorithm performs better dynamically than the conventional approach and converges quickly. © 2023 ieee.

With the increasing integration of renewable energy into the power grid, the application of converters in the electrical systems has grown significantly. Due to the nonlinearity, the complexity and the difficult availability of the system models, traditional methods of synchronization stability analysis have revealed limitations and challenges when confronted with modern power systems. Additionally, the prevalence of grid-following converters in the grid leads to a shortage of voltage sources within the system, significantly increasing the risk of grid instability. This paper addresses the issue of synchronization stability analysis of multi-converter power systems, and proposes a response-based method to assess the synchronization stability level of the entire system. Through an analysis of the synchronization stability mechanism of grid-forming converters, a relationship is established between electromotive force, power angle, and node voltages. A quantitative stability evaluation of the system is achieved using the sBTTC index. Case studies show that the proposed response-based method is effective to analyze the synchronization stability of multi-converter power systems, with great practical viability in engineering applications. © 2023 ieee.

The problem of route planning is one of the most important logistics problems in the field of transportation. It is especially relevant when developing the use of autonomous vehicles based on electric motors in the transportation of goods. Timely route planning reduces potential transportation costs and allows the most efficient creation of initial mission data for unmanned transportation. In this study, we consider the implementation of a software module to obtain the most optimal distribution of routes between vehicles in order to minimize the resources used by trucks in the delivery of goods during the movement process. The work is based on the use of an optimization algorithm inspired by the behavior of honeybees. © 2023 ieee.
