The cable-driven parallel robots are desirable for the manufacturing of large-scale structures due to their enhanced level of flexibility. This is particularly appealing in future construction industry additive manufacturing, where the system can be conveniently deployed at different locations with minimum setup change. This paper proposed a cable-driven parallel robot prototype design for additive manufacturing applications. The cable-driven parallel robot has 6 degrees of freedom and is thus capable of performing translational and rotational manipulation. To address the tension-induced inaccuracies in actuating the cable-driven robot, this paper presents a compensation method to consider the tension force and positioning error by modifying the trajectory and its geometrical relationships. Enhanced positioning performances and the 3D printing results are verified through experiments. © 2023 ieee.

In order to improve the safety and openness of transactions, particularly in the context of dairy supply chains, this study incorporates cutting-edge cryptographic and consensus techniques into the IOTA Tangle. The major objective is to improve upon the Tangle agreement method, the method used to reach agreement on the IOTA Tangle, by including novel techniques such MCMC (Markov Chain Monte Carlo) Tip Selection. The purpose of this enhancement is to improve the speed and accuracy of validating Tangle transactions. IOTA Proof of Work (PoW) and the Curl-P Hash Function are being investigated for their potential to strengthen the Tangle's cryptographic underpinnings and hence make it a more secure distributed ledger. The primary goal of this study is to develop a protocol for honest dealings that can be used to safeguard and track the origin of dairy products all along their supply chains. This study is unusual since it is the first to do such a thorough analysis of these cryptographic and consensus components, providing insights into their synergistic ability to solve security issues and guarantee transaction integrity in real-world applications. © 2024 ieee.

This study presents the design, implementation, and testing of a conveyor belt system aimed at queuing passenger luggage in airport terminals, with a focus on optimizing efficiency and passenger experience during pre-flight procedures. The system comprises three conveyors equipped with sensors and control mechanisms to automate luggage sorting and positioning. An Arduino Uno microcontroller and infrared sensors are utilized to prototype the model. Testing is conducted under various scenario conditions to assess the system's performance, including different passenger traffic volumes and environmental factors. Additionally, the system is designed to operate under normal and emergency conditions, with manual override functionality activated by an emergency button. Results demonstrate the system's ability to adapt to dynamic operational environments, enhancing operational efficiency and passenger satisfaction in airport terminals. Overall, this study contributes to the advancement of airport baggage handling technology, with potential applications for improving airport operations worldwide. © 2024 ieee.

Indoor navigation systems using augmented reality (AR) aim to help users navigate through indoor spaces such as buildings, airports, malls, and exhibition centers. These systems can use various technologies, including GPS, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi, to determine the user's location and provide them with visual and auditory directions to their destination. AR-based indoor navigation systems can also be tailored to the needs of specific users or environments. One of the main benefits of AR-based indoor navigation systems is that they can provide users with a more intuitive and immersive experience compared to traditional methods such as paper maps or visual displays. By overlaying digital information onto the user's physical environment, AR systems can make it easier for users to understand their surroundings and find their way around. Overall, AR-based indoor navigation systems have the potential to improve the user experience and efficiency of navigating indoor spaces and may have a variety of applications in different settings. © 2024 ieee.

In this paper, the analog and RF performance of inverted-T FinFET (IT-FinFET) transistor are investigated using TCAD simulation. Compared with 14 nm FinFET, the device increases the channel width under a given layout area, so that the on-current increases by about 300%. The electrostatic control capability is optimized by adjusting the device structure. The work functions of SOI region and fin region of the device are respectivelyset to make threshold voltages of horizontal and vertical channels consistent. reduces the subthreshold slope (SS) to 73.3 mV/decade. We have used strained Siicon as material for the device to further increase the on-current (Ion and trans-conductance (Gm). The Gm is increasd to 0.35 mSum. Thanks to the Inverted-T structure, the cut-off frequency (fT) increases 10%, mainly due to increase in transconductance and decrease parasitic capacitance. Without the backgate bias, the fT achieves 389 GHz. Additionally, as the backgate voltage is incremented to 2 V, the fT increases to 397 GHz. © 2024 ieee.

Ensuring food security relies heavily on agriculture, and any threat to crop health can significantly impact local economies and populations. Detecting and addressing plant diseases early poses a challenge for farmers. This study presents a novel approach for identifying leaf diseases in plants, focusing specifically on tomato and potato leaves. A deep learning model using Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) was developed with 91% accuracy to recognize up to 13 different diseases affecting these plants. The dataset used includes high-resolution images of both healthy and diseased leaves, enabling precise classification. The model is deployed on Hugging Face, making it accessible and scalable for real-time applications in assisting farmers and agricultural specialists with disease detection and prevention. This solution enhances crop health monitoring, leading to improved agricultural productivity and reduced pesticide usage, contributing to precision agriculture and sustainable farming practices. © 2024 ieee.

Electromyography (EMG) signals, which measure the electrical activity of muscles during contraction, deal with the hope of controlling the actions of the exoskeleton. This paper exposes the acquisition and application of EMG signals for precise and responsive control of exoskeletons. Moreover, the natural neuromuscular signals generated by the user aim to create a seamless interface between the human body and the assistive device, enhancing functionality and user experience. The EMG signals are obtained by placing the electrodes in the respective area of our body, filtering the data, signal amplification, and using noise reduction techniques. Furthermore, EMG data is processed for noise removal, where artefacts ensure the clarity and reliability of the acquired signals. Those signals were used to develop a control algorithm to translate muscle activity into corresponding exoskeleton movements. The challenges and limitations associated with EMG-based controls are signal variability, cross-talk, and calibration. Finally, this paper presents results, which demonstrate that EMG-based control offers a high degree of accuracy and responsiveness, especially requiring to control the fine motor rotation and varying force levels. This approach not only improves the usability of exoskeletons for individuals with mobility impairments but also has certain potential applications like EMG-controlled exoskeletons in various domains, including rehabilitation, assistive technology, various military settings and human-machine interfaces. EMG-driven systems to revolutionize the field of wearable robotics, paving the way for more intuitive and effective human-machine interfaces. © 2024 ieee.

Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) are experiencing a significant surge in their applications across various sectors, including healthcare, surveillance, agriculture, and military operations. This widespread adoption offers manifold advantages, such as effortless mobility, reduced human intervention, and the ability to cover vast areas efficiently. Emerging fields, such as the Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and cloud computing, have boosted its productivity. But UAVs are resource and energy-constrained devices, so their performance (regarding the transmission time and throughput) gets degraded as the number of service requests increases. Most of the existing solutions use AI, game theoretic models, and edge computing to improve the UAV's network latency. However, their solutions are not optimized to reduce the UAV's transmission time and enhance the network throughput. Inspired by the aforementioned challenge, the proposed work utilizes a bio-inspired algorithm, i.e., Grey wolf optimization (GWO), in UAV communication. For that, a signal-to-noise-plus-interference ratio (SINR)-based fitness function is formulated for all UAVs participating in mission-critical applications. Then, based on the GWO exploration phase, it provides optimal UAVs iteratively that can send mission-critical data in a minimum time. Further, a 5G network is laid out between the UAVs and UAVs to the ground control station, improving overall network throughput and latency. The proposed system is evaluated using various and diverse performance parameters, such as network throughput, performance of fitness function with time, network latency, and GWO population analysis. © 2023 ieee.

The integration of Teleassistance promotes effective collaboration between human expertise and automated systems, crucial for optimal performance in modern industrial settings. Continuous development is suggested through the addition of more 3D mechanical drawings and real-Time stock information for parts in the application, aiming for future optimization and performance enhancement. © 2024 ieee.

The learning rate of a CNN determines the efficiency of the neural network. In brain tumor detection, the learning rate and the optimization function plays a key role in deciding the final output. The Optimized Stochastic Gradient Descent (OSGD) optimizer giver better result in terms of Accuracy, Recall and other determining factors. We have also compared the results obtained with other optimizers and it could be clearly stated that our proposed model. The OSGD optimizer controls the maxima and minima, and move the near optimum solution buy controlling the learning rate. So via this method we can control our right *** we detect our object in les error. © 2024 ieee.
