In this paper, reinforcement learning is employed to address the cooperative hunting task for a swarm of underactuated unmanned surface vehicles (USVs) in maritime warfare scenarios. By virtue of the multi-agent deep deterministic policy gradient algorithm, the cooperative swarm hunting strategy (CSHS) is developed by defining new reward functions that can guide the USV swarm in a continuous manner, thereby avoiding sparse rewards. Moreover, Unity3D-based virtual environments are built for cost-efficient learning of the proposed CSHS. The results demonstrate that the CSHS is able to not only avoid obstacles but also exhibits strong generalization among different scenarios, within the entire USV swarm hunting process. © 2024 ieee.

This study introduces the first hyperspectral image unmixing benchmark for weak signal detection, focusing on real meat contamination captured by hyperspectral cameras. We developed a real dataset and a synthetic dataset to evaluate the performance of various unmixing algorithms, including traditional methods (H2NMF and Hyperweak) and advanced deep learning techniques (DeepTrans and MiSiCNet). Our comprehensive assessment covers different concentrations of (E. coli) in sirloin steak samples, providing an indepth performance analysis of the tested models. Although no algorithm consistently outperforms all others, the experimental results indicate that DeepTrans performs particularly well in the conventional unmixing of fat and muscle. For weak signals such as saline solution or E. coli solution, Hyperweak produced better results on both datasets. In the synthetic dataset, Hyperweak achieved aSAD=0.0060 and aRMSE=0.0167, while in the real dataset, it reached state-of-the-art performance for weak signals in most scenarios. The scarcity of research on weak signal unmixing under challenging real-world conditions underscores the importance of this study, establishing a framework for future technological advancements in food safety. © 2024 ieee.

The OpenFlow protocol facilitates the communication between the control and forwarding planes within a software-defined networking (SDN) framework. In SDN, the control plane is housed in a distinct entity known as the OpenFlow controller, which assumes the responsibility of making high-level determinations regarding the forwarding of network traffic. With the OpenFlow controller, network administrators can centrally program and manage network behavior, incorporating functionalities like traffic engineering, load balancing, QoS enforcement, security policies, and more. By segregating the control plane from the data plane, SDN utilizing OpenFlow empowers flexible network management, automation, and programmability. Through the utilization of the OpenFlow protocol, the OpenFlow controller interacts with the forwarding plane, typically implemented in network switches or routers. This approach offers a centralized perspective of the network and grants dynamic control over the behavior of network devices by installing flow entries into their forwarding tables. In this research, we use a single-controller N-policy finite buffer waiting queue model to investigate the system performance metrics. Numerical examples and different indices are presented to illustrate the proposed model. © 2023 ieee.

With the rapid development of advanced fields such as aerospace and exploration, lightweight, miniaturization, and high reliability have become the development direction of permanent magnet motors. In many applications, multiple adjacent parallel linear motion units are required. We can save space and improve power density by replacing multiple independent motors with array motor. In this article, an ultrathin array permanent magnet linear motor was proposed and the structure was optimized to improve the operational stability. © 2023 ieee.

In this work, a frequency reconfigurable wearable antenna incorporating a varactor diode is proposed. The antenna is designed using a Felt substrate, chosen for its lightweight, flexible, and low-loss properties, making it particularly suitable for wearable applications. The conductive element is fabricated using Shieldit Super™, a highly conductive material that ensures efficient RF performance while maintaining the mechanical flexibility required for integration with wearable devices. The antenna design includes a complete DC biasing circuitry to control the varactor diode's operation. The biasing network is carefully integrated to minimize interference with the antenna's RF performance. The design and simulation were carried out using CST Microwave Studio, an electromagnetic simulation tool widely used for antenna analysis. The proposed design achieves frequency tuning in the range of 2.38 GHz to 2.55 GHz by applying a reverse bias voltage between 0 V and 8 V to the varactor diode. This continuous tuning capability is critical for wearable applications requiring adaptability to changing environments or multiple communication standards. Additionally, the antenna achieves a bandwidth of 380 MHz, spanning from 2.27 GHz to 2.65 GHz, which further enhances its versatility for broadband applications. The gain of the antenna remains stable across the tuning range, which is an essential parameter for wearable antennas to maintain consistent performance. The results indicate that the proposed design effectively combines frequency reconfigurability with stable gain and bandwidth performance. This makes it a strong candidate for wearable applications, particularly in environments where frequency flexibility and compact, lightweight designs are critical. Future work could focus on optimizing the biasing circuitry for lower power consumption and exploring the integration of this antenna with textile-based systems for enhanced usability. © 2024 ieee.

Recent years have witnessed the increasing demand of video coding technologies, which have been continuously developed to meet various requirements in video-related applications. Developed by Alliance for Open Media (AOM), the AOMedia Video 1 (AV1) is an open-source and royalty-free standard. Herein, we achieve high efficiency rate control for AV1 based on the machine-learning model, which establishes the rate-quantization relationship in a data-driven manner. More specifically, the Supporting Vector Regression (SVR) is used for rate model parameter estimation. The model is trained using sufficient training data, and incorporated in the encoder. Compared to the default rate control scheme in AV1, experimental results have shown that 2.01% bitrate could be saved with tolerable bitrate error.

Effective management of zakat, infaq, alms, and endowments (ZISWAF) is a vital responsibility for Muslims, contributing significantly to the well-being of both Muslims and society. In the digital era, leveraging technology has become crucial for streamlining ZISWAF administration, optimizing the collection, handling, and disbursement of funds. This paper presents a comprehensive examination of the digital technology-based management of ZISWAF at UPZ Masjid Ash Shiyam Gading Depok Residence, encompassing technology applications, advantages, challenges, and their corresponding solutions. To address the time constraints and functional requirements, we developed an Online Donation Application using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) approach. Subsequently, we employed a social informatics research approach to assess the implementation of the information system. Combining quantitative and qualitative methods through a case study approach, data was collected via observations, interviews, and documentation. Descriptive analysis was then applied to gain valuable insights into the technology's impact on ZISWAF management. The study resulted in the creation of a web-based digital fundraising application dashboard, offering a comprehensive platform to facilitate efficient management and monitoring of online fundraising activities. This platform empowers organizations to enhance donation accumulation, monitor fundraising initiatives, and generate detailed financial reports more effectively. © 2023 ieee.

In response to the current problems of low data transmission efficiency, high latency, and insufficient stability in computer communications, this paper studies a comprehensive optimized data transmission algorithm, which aims to improve network resource utilization efficiency and transmission performance and reduce the frequency of congestion by dynamically adjusting the transmission rate, adaptive congestion control and queue management optimization. Firstly, a dynamic rate adjustment mechanism based on real-time network status detection is designed to monitor the network bandwidth, latency, and packet loss rate in real time to dynamically adjust the data packet transmission rate. Secondly, an adaptive congestion control strategy is applied to reduce the impact of congestion on data transmission by monitoring the network congestion status in real time and adjusting it according to the changing trend. Finally, queue management and priority scheduling algorithms are used to reasonably arrange the transmission order of data packets, reduce queuing delays, and improve the transmission efficiency of high-priority data packets. In terms of latency and throughput, as latency increases, throughput gradually decreases. Taking the bandwidth of 100Mbps as an example, when the network latency is 20ms, the throughput is 92.15Mbps, and when the latency is 100ms, the throughput drops to 74.11Mbps. The optimized data transmission algorithm proposed in this paper significantly improves the efficiency and stability of network transmission by dynamically adapting to network conditions. In future research, the application of this algorithm can be further expanded, and its adaptability and robustness in more complex network environments and high-load applications can be enhanced to improve the reliability of data transmission. © 2025 ieee.

The SEPIC converter has gained significant attention in renewable energy applications due its unique ability to provide up and down voltage level conversion. For closed loop controlled applications mathematical modelling of converter is essential for describing converter behaviour. In this context, mathematical modelling of SEPIC converter is presented here. At first, the large signal model is developed with state space equations and later steady state model is constructed. The perturbations are introduced in the average large signal model to obtain the small signal model and finally, the transfer functions are obtained by MATLAB programming to describe open loop relations between output and control variable and output and input voltage. The bode diagram and root locus is constructed from the transfer function and SISO tool is used to obtain PI controller gain values. This PI controller is deployed for regulating the output of SEPIC converter. The stability analysis is also discussed. © 2023 ieee.

Network evolution trendincludes Internet of Things (IoT) and Software-Defined Networking (SDN). By separating the data plane from the control plane, the software defined networking architectural framework is used and it will makes the network admins works more easily. SDN mainly focuses on network management and controls at the higher levels to monitoring and sharing the connection between the devices with the help of network connectivity in real time using the Internet of Things concepts. Almost in all the fields, IoT devices used so have to improve the security of IoT devices. The SDN has the centralized control logic, if the number of network traffic increases then centralized controller may not be handle all the network traffic requests at the same time, because the SDN controller is a single point of failure, its failure can bring the entire network down. The Software Defined Network (SDN) is easily exposed to various attacks mostly to DDoS attacks. Majority of the existing research is concentrated only on sensing of HR-DDoS attacks occurring over the control layer and not focusing on LR-DDoS attack occurring over the data layer because the accuracy of attacks on the LR-DDoS attacks are very low. This study mainly focusing on how to design the multi controller SDN architecture to improve the scalability, how to increase the detection accuracy of low-rate DDoS attacks on the SDN data layer and how to detect the attacks using machine learning algorithms. © 2023 ieee.
