This paper investigates the problem of stabilization control of hydroelectric generating units. Firstly, the fully actuated system model of the linear hydraulic turbine is established by using the theory of fully actuated system. Then the control law is designed by using the direct parameterization method, which can configure the closed-loop poles of the hydraulic turbine system expectation or region and ensure the stable operation of the hydraulic turbine regulating system with a small control gain. Finally, a nonlinear active disturbance rejection control method is proposed for the internal and external disturbances in the control of the fully actuated system. The simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed control method.

A new method is presented to obtain outer-approximations of forward reachable sets for Linear Parameter-Varying (LPV) systems controlled by neural networks for safety verification. The method relies on abstracting the activation functions by optimization-based sector constraints. The forward reachable sets are obtained in terms of solutions to a set of Linear Matrix Inequalities (LMIs). A numerical example is provided to demonstrate the applicability of the proposed method. A comparison with some available methods is also included.

This paper presents a practical prescribed-time fault-tolerant control (PPTFTC) method for a manipulator system experiencing time-varying actuator faults, parameter uncertainties, and position error constraints. The proposed method offers several advantages, including explicitly specified settling time and tracking accuracy, bounded continuity of system state and internal signals, and stronger robustness against actuator faults and parameter uncertainties.
