Good oral hygiene habits are fundamental to children's health education. The cleaning of children's primary molar occlusal surfaces is often neglected, leading to tooth decay despite brushing or difficulty in forming proper hygiene habits. This study introduces Tooth Bot, a robot that visualizes cleaning teeth, especially occlusal surfaces, as defeating plaque monsters. Tooth Bot consists of a tooth model and a toothbrush. During cleaning, the toothbrush detects brushing posture, cleaning duration, and focuses on occlusal surfaces. The tooth model visualizes plaque formation, reminding children to brush regularly.

This paper investigates the phenomenon of perceptual distortion of time caused by the stimulation of the senses in a virtual environment. We examine how time perception changes with sensory stimuli at varying intervals, focusing on visual, auditory, tactile, and visual-auditory stimuli, as well as the impact of complex visual event frequencies. Participants' time perception before and during the experiment was compared. The analysis showed that visual stimuli induced time compression, and auditory stimuli induced time dilation. Time dilation was more effectively induced than time compression. Based on these results, personalizing the time interval of sensory stimuli may maximize the time distortion effect.

Personalized 360° content generation faces significant challenges due to the lack of adaptation to user preferences during interaction. Traditional methods often rely on static content or post-session analysis, which limits dynamic engagement. In this paper, we propose a novel approach (i.e., DynamicEye360) that integrates eyetracking with dynamic content generation to create personalized 360° experiences. By analyzing gaze trajectories and user preferences, our approach adjusts content based on the user’s visual focus, leading to a more immersive and engaging experience. Experimental results show that our approach significantly enhances content relevance and user engagement compared to existing methods, demonstrating the potential of gaze-driven personalized content in virtual environments.

Self-supervised learning is widely applied across various domains due to its advantage of learning data representations without the need for labels. However, recent research shows that backdoor attacks on self-supervised learning are achievable by coupling benign features with trigger features without manipulating labels. Existing methods, however, suffer from poor trigger disguise. When designing triggers, more emphasis is placed on attack strength rather than on disguising the triggers, which makes these triggers easily detectable through manual inspection or preprocessing methods. Therefore, we propose a camouflaged self-supervised backdoor attack method from the perspective of visual disguise. Specifically, we design triggers by embedding variable adverse weather information to achieve visual camouflage, which can bypass certain defence methods to some extent. Additionally, since our proposed camouflaged triggers have a global nature, they achieve more efficient backdoor attack capabilities. Experiments demonstrate that our method achieves attack success rates of 83.4% on the CIFAR-100 dataset and 44.8% on the ImageNet-100 dataset, surpassing existing state-of-the-art methods by 14.6% and 24.4%, respectively. This paper presents a novel augmented reality system that leverages inverted visual feedback from the dominant hand’s real-time movements, coupled with a synchronized instructional video, to facilitate efficient training for the non-dominant hand. Experimental results demonstrate that this approach significantly enhances non-dominant hand skills in a short period while maintaining a low cognitive load.
