Designing a cloud computing environment is a tradeoff performance between costs and way of providing services that System of virtualized networks may affect it. In order to alleviate this, abstractions have to be developed to quantitively measure and decide data plane abstraction performance costs in the cloud computing spaces. Here we provide a technical summary of the work that was aimed at quantifying performance tradeoffs in cloud computing settings from the angle of network virtualization. This study will consider the performance of two such important factors like network latency and resource utilization. Network latency: This is defined as the time taken for a given network packet to travel from a given source to the given destination. Resource utilization, on the other hand, refers to the amount of network resource that used, e.g. how much bandwidth or computational power is used. This will then be supplemented by control the experiment to perform simulations for understanding network configuration effects and simulation threats. This will help in keeping a picture of how these trade-offs affect the overall performance in network virtualization. This study's findings will help network and cloud computing architects in optimizing their networks and alleviating the performance penalties of virtualization. Consequently, this helps in reducing costs and enhancing performance in cloud computing environments. © 2025 ieee.

The number of sensors and IoT devices has increased dramatically in last several years. In recent years, the number of IoT devices and sensors has increased significantly. Solving the purpose of fog computing processing requirements of widely distributed IoT devices and sensors in real-time, latency-sensitive applications. In order to effectively distribute resource layers for numerous application IoT networks, it is imperative to optimize fog infrastructure resources, as they are scarce and erratic. Generally speaking, fog computing brings cloud-based networking, processing, and storage closer to IoT device and detection devices. To enhance the capacity to search globally, the Firefly and Crow search algorithms are merged. The proposed hybrid algorithm (FA-CSA) results improved the QoS factor of cost and makespan while compared with PSO, ACO and genetic algorithm. © 2025 the Author(s).

Edge computing has emerged as a crucial paradigm to fulfill the increasing demand for rapid data processing, low latency, and efficient resource utilization, particularly in applications such as the Internet of Things (IoT), smart cities, autonomous vehicles, and automated industrial systems. By processing data closer to its source, edge computing minimizes reliance on centralized cloud infrastructures, thereby improving response times and optimizing bandwidth. However, this transition also presents significant security challenges, including heightened risks of Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks, data breaches, and unauthorized physical access to edge nodes. This paper conducts a comprehensive analysis of these security vulnerabilities, presenting a framework that integrates advanced defence mechanisms and algorithms tailored to enhance data protection and resource management in edge environments. Our findings indicate that the proposed strategies effectively mitigate identified threats while maintaining system performance. Furthermore, we outline ongoing challenges related to scalability, interoperability, and data governance, providing insights into future research avenues aimed at fortifying edge computing systems against evolving security threats. This study contributes to a deeper understanding of the critical role edge computing plays in the domain of next-generation computing technologies. © 2025 ieee.

In today’s world, the demand for computing power and the need for environmental protection and energy saving have made Green cloud computing (GCC) popular in various fields. Customers from all over the world can access processing power and resources through cloud computing. It offers excellent performance and cost savings compared to specialized HPC devices. However, cloud computing will use many data centers, resulting in considerable energy consumption and a large amount of carbon dioxide emissions. Green cloud computing was created to solve this problem using recycled energy and sustainable and energy-efficient methods. For Green cloud computing, IoE allocates energy and computing resources more reasonably. At the same time, IoE promotes the concepts and techniques of Green cloud computing to reduce carbon emissions further. The Internet of Everything will more deeply influence the application of Green cloud computing and various fields by connecting people, data, and machines. This paper provides an overview of the history of the Internet of Everything and Green cloud computing. The Internet of Everything is widely used and has been shown to impact Green cloud computing profoundly. With the rapid development of cloud computing technology, data security and backup have become an important guarantee for enterprises. The purpose of this study is to optimize the data allocation, storage strategy and resource management of cloud data backup through particle swarm optimization algorithm. In this paper, the basic principle and flow of Particle Swarm Optimization algorithm are introduced in detail, and a cloud data backup model based on Particle Swarm Optimization algorithm is proposed to solve the problems of resource allocation, unreasonable selection of storage nodes and optimization of backup time strategy in data backup. Through experimental comparison and performance analysis, this paper verifies the effectiveness and feasibility of Particle Swarm Optimization algorithm in improving cloud data backup efficiency, reducing backup cost and optimizing resource utilization. This study proves the important application value of Particle Swarm Optimization in cloud data backup optimization, which can improve backup efficiency and reduce resource consumption. This study also provides theoretical basis and practical guidance for further exploring the application of intelligent algorithms in cloud computing. © 2025 SPIE.

Across all industries, cloud-based automated control systems have completely changed how operational and environmental parameters are tracked and controlled. With cloud-integrated systems for real-time data collection, processing, and control, this concept presents intelligent, remote-controlled workshops and control rooms. To guarantee accurate control of crucial variables like temperature, humidity, pressure, and equipment efficiency, these systems make use of IoT devices, AI techniques, and big data analytics. Through sophisticated data perspectives, the cloud-based strategy enables predictive maintenance, improves flexibility, and lowers operating expenses. Stakeholders may make prompt, data-driven choices from anywhere with remote access to control rooms. These seminars provide practical experience with cloud-controlled settings and function as training and development centres. The system's flexibility to meet a range of industrial demands is further enhanced by its compatibility with external tools and equipment. Multi-cloud environments offer benefits like vendor diversification and resilience but pose challenges such as increased management complexity, lack of cost transparency, and compliance. This concept paper introduces SKY CONTROL, a vendor-agnostic framework for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). SKY CONTROL integrates cost control and risk management into multi-cloud setups, providing static and dynamic resource analyses, a cost calculator, and risk assessment tools. By leveraging the Sky computing paradigm, SKY CONTROL simplifies resource orchestration and enhances security. In today's dynamic technology world, cloud computing environments can accomplish effective outcomes using container-based solutions. cloud resource management and allocation have altered as an outcome of containerized cloud computing systems. It provides scalable and flexible solutions for effective resource utilization and various factors regarding businesses. Task scheduling is very challenging in cloud systems that use containerization because there are many competing factors to consider. This study suggests VBDPA, a unique multicriteria-based task-scheduling algorithm for containerized cloud environments. The algorithm effectively addresses the complex and dynamic nature of cloud computing by utilizing the multi-criteria decision-making method known as VIKOR (VIekriterijumskoKOmpromisnoRangiranje). VBDPA seeks to improve overall system performance, reduce task completion times, maximize resource utilization, and provide better revenue for cloud providers. An analysis is carried out to compare VBDPA's effectiveness with the current Promethee-II based PBDPA algorithm. The results of the experiments in the cloudsim simulator show that VBDPA performs better than PBDPA in terms of makespan, revenue generation, and resource utilization. The results highlight VBDPA's potential as a viable option for effective task scheduling in containerized cloud environments. © 2025 The Authors. Published by Elsevier B.V.

This study investigates the design and execution of an automated attendance tracking system using facial recognition CCTV based. Facial recognition technology and CCTV cameras are integrated in this system to provide a seamless, frictionless way to track and record attendance in real time. In addition to boosting attendance record accuracy, the approach reduces the administrative burden associated with using traditional methods. The suggested system is designed to recognise people when they enter or leave a monitored area by leveraging developments in computer vision. It accomplishes this automatically and requires no interaction from humans. Furthermore, the system's use of the Internet of Things makes it flexible and scalable to a variety of business situations, including offices, schools, and large-scale events. This is made feasible via real-time data synchronising and reporting. © 2025 ieee.
